I highly recommend Kayla she was phenomenal. I've gotten massages at other places that leave you sore after or just don't hit the mark but she really did her job. I look forward to coming back. read more

This was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had. The pressure was perfect -- not too soft and not too hard. The atmosphere was calming and quiet, and I really appreciated the quick check in and check out procedures. read more

URGENT WARNING: Deceptive Practices & Broken Promises by General Manager at The Now Massage - Ashburn, VA Rating: 0 out of 5 Stars (Abysmal) I am writing this review to issue an urgent and severe warning to any potential clients considering purchasing memberships or packages at The Now Massage in Ashburn, VA. My experience with their General Manager demonstrates a shocking lack of integrity and deceptive business practices, which ultimately led to the confiscation of services I had already paid for. I had two (2) prepaid massages remaining on my account. Due to specific, extenuating circumstances, I personally spoke with the General Manager to discuss the expiration of these services. The GM, gave me an explicit, verbal guarantee that my two remaining massages would be kept "good" and extended until the end of the calendar year. This promise was the only reason I did not rush to use the services before the supposed expiration date. However, The Now Massage (Ashburn, VA) has completely and unilaterally gone back on the General Manager's promise. Upon attempting to book my next massage, I was informed that the GM's guarantee was void and that my two prepaid sessions, which I paid for in full, had been forfeited and zeroed out of my account. This is not a mistake; it is an act of managerial deception. When a General Manager makes an explicit promise to a paying customer to extend services until a specific date, and the business then reneges on that promise, it is a clear indication that this location prioritizes maximizing revenue over honoring commitments and providing basic customer service. Potential Clients Must Be Warned: If you are dealing with the management at The Now Massage in Ashburn, VA, understand that verbal promises are worthless. You risk losing prepaid services and hard-earned money based on the word of a manager who clearly lacks the authority or intention to follow through. I paid for two services I never received because I trusted the word of their General Manager. This location's willingness to engage in such deceptive behavior warrants the strongest possible caution to the public. Avoid The Now Massage in Ashburn, VA, if you value honesty and integrity in your business dealings. I demand an immediate refund for services not rendered. read more

All the massages I have received at this place has been great! Left me in a trance. Staff is always helpful.

Had the worst experience-- I receive a call that there was an error in the system for a WHOLE YEAR... and now it was just caught and I my credits from being a member are now expired. How is there an error when I've literally brought people with me, gifted and was massaged by the lovely Kay using the massages that were paid for and now all of a sudden "all of the credits were used in error" what a terrible way to start my morning. What a joke. SMH read more

This was my first visit gifted by my Daughter for Fathers Day. I received a Swedish massage from Gigi that was amazing, providing just what I needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, with the sounds of the ocean putting my mind at ease, and I momentarily forgot where I was. Gigi is my girl for future massages. I felt as if I was walking on a cloud when I left. read more

This was my 3rd visit to The Now Massage Ashburn, When I booked my appointment, I requested Danielle, and let me tell you... Danielle is the real MVP! She listened and delivered, and she will be my go-to massage therapist from now on. I had great experiences with the other massage therapist... but Danielle is the lady with the magic hands. Thank you so much, Danielle Ps: I recommend the membership 100%. Trust me, you won't regret it read more

Came here for a birthday treat to myself and had Ana as my massage therapist. The ladies at the front desk were lovely and sparked conversations with me. Ana was super sweet and we did a short consultation. I did the Healer and it was different. She went the first 10 mins with the focus on breath work and energy balancing I think is what she called it. The massage was awesome. I definitely was so relaxed I fell asleep for about half of it. You do hear a bit of talking though when the front door opens leading to the rooms if there are conversations going on at the lobby. Brief but can be loud. read more

I got a massage with Michelle today and it was AMAZING. Not only is her actual massage great but her hands and pressure are amazing. I asked to have my back focused on and it's like she found every tight spot I had. My back feels so relaxed now, it really did make a huge difference. I will definitely be coming back to see Michelle. read more

Nothing will ruin my workouts like a nagging injury. But taking time off from my workout, just isn't something I'm willing to do. A friend recommended Now Massage in Ashburn and specifically mentioned the therapist named Jack. Jack spent about 10 minutes with me getting some history on my concerns and establishing what my best options were. We did 50 minutes, concentrating exclusively on my shoulders and rotator cuff. Prior to going in I had trouble extending my arm and getting a shirt pulled over my head. As I was leaving the therapy session, I was able to pull my shirt on with much greater range of motion. Amazing how much progress can get made in one visit. I recommend this business enthusiastically read more

It was okay not bad or great..just okay. I had a late appointment at 7pm. I paid & 120 for 50 min session. They called me back after 7pm however my massage was over at exact 7:50pm, which means I did not get full 50 mins for the price point. When the masseuse left out I looked at clock it was 7:51. I would recommend booking an early session and odds of getting your money worth may be better. Kinda disappointed overall, has higher expectations for the business. The place is in a nice area. read more

I've been going here for a few months. My LMT is Danielle and her knowledge and expertise are top notch! Thank goodness for her b/c she's helped me gain mobility of my rotator cuff and worked out years of knots that were built up. The receptionist Avani is very courteous and knowledgeable with the store products. read more

Let me begin with saying When I wanted to book appointment with my membership they would pick up the phone right away and book my appointment. I was monthly Member but due to family/work commitment I wasn't able to use my monthly service hence I missed making appointments. So I called to cancel my appointment in October and came to know I have 7 missed massages which I have to use by January, which is fine. Again, due to work travel, kids and their classes I wasn't able to make those appointment so Yesterday I called to find out if somehow I can extend this to Feb as I am going to India for 4 weeks and I won't be able to use it..I asked for an extension or a gift card to use it later..I requested very nicely to the receptionist but she came back saying we can't do it so I asked for the manager.Dont know her name but she worked Tuesday afternoon 12/17. She told me the same thing so i asked her to be littler more considerate and I gave her my reasons, and she told me that everyone has similar problems and they still make it to the massage,.so I was like you can't compare me with everyone else. Everyone has something going on...so I requested her to see if she can do anything. As I am not available in month of Jan..But she told me she can't do anything the system system won't let her do it so I asked if she can manually do something she rudely said NO and She told not to discuss this anymore and hung up on me. So i called again thinking I got disconnected before I even say Hello she rudely told me that if I want to talk about the same thing she wont' help and nothing would change and she hung up on me again..So I called again to let them know I am calling to make an appointment but her behavior was really really rude. Ever since then I am trying to talk to someone and make an appointment for my husband and My cousin they aren't picking up the phone. I left a VM too..A manager is super rude and staff is super rude...they don't understand the meaning of customer service and on top of that Receptionist and a Manger both are rude and unprofessional. I Wouldn't recommed them to anyone.. There are better massage places in Loudon County.. read more

Nice place with arabian nights theme, free parking garage nearby. Thought I booked a sports massage but it was regular and so light paid one hundred ten to be oiled up neck still hurts. Still looking for masseuse. read more

Michelle was awesome! I got a deep tissue add on and I told her my problem areas and she delivered! One of the best massages I've ever had! She listened to what I wanted out of the massage and tailored the massage to my needs. Will definitely book with Michelle again. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, I am 32 weeks pregnant and booked a prenatal opt. After driving 35 min to get to the location I found out that they dont have certified prenatal specialist avalible, they asked me to cme in 2 hours to get the massage done( casually expected to drive 35 min home and come back 35 min). On top on that front desk ladies were being rude and talking about me behind my back. I saw they are treating the other white folks that came in with smile but mad disrespect towards me. NEVER Wrote a review but it had to be said. I DIDNT GET ANY DISCOUNT OR MASSAGE SLOTS TIMMINGS as they claimed below. read more

Anna's massage was very good. The place itself is lacking in ambience. There is a tranquil area to wait before your massage. When they take you back to your room. It's not a room, just curtains hung separating people. I could hear the person next to me snoring during my massage, it was very distracting and not relaxing at all. With so much competition in this area, I would pass on this one. read more

Nicole is awesome! She's tends to the needs of the stress in my neck and shoulders. I won't go anywhere else. The facility and clean and calming. read more

Michelle's 80-minute prenatal massage and scalp renewal was incredible. Every minute was pure relaxation. Michelle's expertise in catering to my needs as an expectant mother made the experience even better. She relieved all the pain and tension in my back that's built up over this pregnancy. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're looking for a rejuvenating escape, I highly recommend booking a session with Michelle. read more

I had my 1st massage session a month ago. I did not like the way how they charge for the session and an additional $15 bc it was a deep tissue. Typically, all the massage places I've been to in the past, showed their prices and type for the session. However, the additional price really took me by surprise since it was already $110 for the massage for just 50 mins. The additional $15 for deep tissue when it was just okay, not really deep tissue that I've had many years, made me question my choice of this place. I still tipped 20% as a decent person. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be coming back. read more

Right as I got there Telma was very welcoming, I got offered lemon water as I waited since I arrived a little early to my appointmet. The check in process was really easy! The ambiance is incredible throughout, the lobby decorations are beautiful and as soon as you step into the massage area it feels as you're entering another realm, I immediately felt relaxed. Ruth was amazing, asked me about problem areas and did an amazing job through the 50 minutes I was there. After the massage we had a little conversation about aftercare since my neck and shoulders were really tense. Ultimately I walked in with a piercing headache and left feeling renewed, I cannot believe it took me this long to find The now! I signed up for a membership and I'm excited to try all the different add ons! read more

I've been to The Now in Ashburn a few times and I've seen either Ashely or Andy. Both are fantastic. I love the environment, it's so welcoming and peaceful. I've recently become a member and found the member rates to be reasonable. If you haven't been to The Now make an effort to go. Highly recommend. Claire S read more

Ruth is freakin amazing. I love her. Now message is a great facility and always clean and relaxing.

I had my 2nd massage with Michelle today, she is wonderful! Strong and thorough. I love her technique of massaging, pulling and stretching to get into all the places. I walked in with pain in my neck and walked out with it completely gone! She also does a great job with hands which is very important for me! It seems difficult to find people who know the hand holding technique to stretch the hands while massaging them. So that was a really BIG deal to find! read more

Andy was wonderful. Friendly, thorough, and got rid of all the kinks in my body. Best massage I've had in a while.

The absolute worst experience of my life. Absolutely horrible communication. I was charged twice for receiving one massage and then threaten by their RACIST manager like I'm a criminal for being upset for the error they made. Trash service. Do not recommend read more

Lovely and clean space. The monthly membership is a good deal and they offer perks. I've received several great services here. A few misses too. I recently paused my membership because they don't enforce a mask policy for Covid and can't recommend or confirm if therapists and staff are vaccinated. Considering it's close quarters with open space, it's not ideal for those concerned with health and safety at the moment. (Sept '21) read more

Great experience! The Now is an extremely warm and relaxing environment. So unique. Kayla and Tyler are incredible massage therapists! Tom is amazing as well. My mother and I both had wonderful massages by them. We fell asleep! They were professional, kind, and so talented. Justin at the front desk is also great! So friendly and accommodating. He explained things very thoroughly and made checking in and out super simple. After hearing about the hype behind "The NOW" from all their California locations, I was pleasantly surprised to hear there'd be one opening up in Ashburn! I had an amazing 50 minute "The Now" massage (their version of a swedish massage) thanks to Shawn, who applied just the right amount of pressure and was able to skillfully find all of my trouble areas. I was also impressed with his draping technique (you'd be surprised by how little attention some masseurs put into this but I think it makes a huge difference to your overall comfort and massage experience). They sent me out with a bottle of cold pressed juice too, which was the perfect cherry on top. All in all, would definitely recommend! I'll for sure be back and may even sign up for their monthly massage membership. The experience definitely lived up to the hype! read more

Michelle was awesome! It was truly a must needed relaxing experience.I am looking forward to my next appointment

Nicole is amazing! She is one of the best massage therapist I have worked with. I would recommend her to anyone looking for great massage.

Had a 50 minute massage with 4 add ons, the massage overall was great but I thought each add on would add to the total time of the massage but it didn't. I wouldn't pay for the ad ons next time, it's a waste of money and they barely do it for over a few minutes. read more

After reading the comment the owner left on the review, I felt it necessary to attach this. Here is a copy of my receipt from my first massage with Shawn on October 27th, 2021. I paid for an hour long massage but spent the first 25 mins filling out paperwork and talking with my masseuse while holding crystals. I get the holistic aspect of the crystals but I wanted 1 hr of actual hands-on massaging. I will not be going back. Gave 3/5 because everyone was very nice, professional, and place was clean. Just not the kind of service I expected. read more
