Had Zen Dumpling delivered and it was so delicious!!!!! Well their dumplings were at least. The green beans were delicious as well but the Mongolian beef was too sweet. I have also gotten the cucumbers, celery and mung bean, and dan dan noodles here that weren't very good. None of those dishes had much flavor, but I will come back again and again for their dumplings!!

As we stepped into Zen Dumpling, we were instantly welcomed by friendly smiles and a cozy vibe. We decided to try the Thai Milk Tea, Lemonade, Beef Pancake Roll, Pan Fried bao bites, Mongollan Beet, and Shrimp Fried Rice. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with just the right temperature and beautifully presented. Not including our tip, we paid a total of $64.83, which included taxes. I'd definitely suggest them to anyone! #yumyum #dumplings #zen

The food is good and but the braised beef bao was dry. Their menu you has many dim sum style options. The beef ribs were good and had good flavor.

Delicious dim sum place! They soup dumplings were the best I've had in Jacksonville. You order "small plates" and you share with the table. We wanted to try a little bit of everything and we got full so quick! The food came out pretty quick so that was nice. Dan Dan noodles was a little too spicy for me, but everything else was delicious. The soup dumplings is a must try. Keep in mind to poke a whole in the dumpling before eating it or else you'll burn your tongue. Plenty of parking its in a plaza

Zen Dumpling is still a new Asian Bistro spot and it looks way different from what t was before and they have Thai Boba drinks too! Took the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the size is quite good and the right amountbof sweetness and of course the Boba :) The service was very good and in less than 3 minutes I was out the door. It looks like it is a good spot to eat and the lighting looks better this time which makes it look like it has more space inside.

First time in with no research ahead of time. We checked reviews and asked our server for recommendations. Overall, all of the food was fresh with good flavor. Our favorites were the Chicken Karaage and the Fried Bao Bites. The Mongolian beef was very tender and the General Tso Chicken was crispy with just the right amount of spice. The beef pancake roll was surprisingly cold but I think it was meant to be with chilled ingredients like cucumber. Great service and clean, open dining room. Would love to come back and try other things.

We really enjoy Zen Dumpling. Best soup dumplings I've had in Jax. This last visit was on a Saturday night. Several tables filled but this is a big space so we were sat immediately. Scan the barcode and view pics of different items. Fill out the paper sheet and wait for the deliciousness to arrive. As usual, we ordered too much, but that means leftovers for another day. We enjoyed the cucumber salad and always seem to order it. The spicy green beans were not that spicy. They were good but I thought they would be more crispy. Mini bao buns are tasty. The soup dumplings are excellent and loaded with broth. We also ordered the shrimp fried rice which was also very good. Service was great. Food does come out quick. This is a great place for sharing!

    So delicious for Christmas

I think most people go wrong if all they order is dumplings. I would definitely order one set but you should order the beef roll-up it was my favorite bite. We got chicken and broccoli and a meat soup. A good variety of dishes made this a wonderful meal. They are also open on Christmas day. The ambiance was nice and I would recommend it for dates.

The space is modern and sleek with minimalist decor. Spacious design and not crowded. XLB were too good. Chicken and mushroom dumplings were nice but not out of the world. Loved the fried rice, big portions and flavorful. Fried noodles were good but i have tasted better. Overall very nice experience and would be back

Dumplings were delicious! Truly!! Sesame pancakes - oh soooo good!! Service was great and the restaurant is clean and inviting! A little pricey on some food items but a good place to get your dumpling fix!

This was my first time trying Zen Dumpling. The service was good and there is a large selection on the menu. This particular visit my food was okay. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. Now the Sake was a whole different story. I tried the peach and my friend tried the apple. Lol who knew those little bottles would creep up on us like they did. I definitely want to be open minded and try this place again. I'm sure there are ton of other options they have that are delicious. My selection was decent, but I think I'd have to try more to give a solid review on the food.

Newish dumpling spot in Jax. Couldn't really complain about any of the dishes. They were all pretty flavourful. They did have some beer on the menu so that was a nice treat.

My friends decided to host a going away dinner here at Zen Dumpling and we all love dumpling so we were super excited. The restaurant is very modern and sleek. It's super clean too! We were seated right away and our waitress was such a sweetheart! She went above and beyond and made sure everyone was taken care of! We absolutely adored her! My husband and I had the following: Truffle pork Soup dumplings: 9/10 - they were juicy, filled with delicious broth and pork/truffle filling. We could taste the truffle flavor and it was aromatic and tasty! Each steamed basket comes with 6 dumplings and they were a great size! We enjoyed every bite of the dumpling. They had soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, and pickled ginger at the table to make your own dumpling sauce too! Definitely try the soy sauce, ginger, and chili oil concoction with your dumpling. It brings out alot of flavors. Crab and pork Soup Dumplings: 9/10 - I love seafood, especially crab and it was jam packed with crab flavor without overpowering the pork! My husband usually doesn't care for crab but he enjoyed this dumpling very much. No complaints here! It was juicy, savory, and lots of umami flavor. Chicken kaarage: 8.5/10 - My husband loves chicken kaarage and this was their version of it. It came out piping hot and the chicken pieces were juicy, flavorful, and crispy! We loved the batter and fry on it as they were fried to a nice, deep golden color and each bite was heavenly. Zen chow cold slice beef: 8/10 - I didn't really care too much for this, but my husband loved it. I think it's because I don't like beef cold but the flavor tasted good. I think it had a drizzle of hoisin or oyster sauce on top and sesame seeds sprinkled on. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't try this again. sweet and sour pork ribs: 9.5/10 - oh my gosh! This was probably some of the best bites of the night! The meat was tender and fell of the bone and you get alot of the rib pieces. The flavor was sweet with a hint of tang and that sauce was to die for! The sauce coated every crevice of the ribs and you get an medley of flavors with each bite. I absolutely would get this again! Overall, we would definitely come back again. It is a little pricey but it's worth it with the quality of the food. The service was outstanding as well and we left happy and full.

The server was extremely rude from the moment that I walked in. Upon coming in, I was not greeted at all. No Hi, Hello, or anything. The server glanced at me and I asked for a table for 1. In which he turned around with a menu and sat it on a table. He said absolutely nothing to me when doing this. The only thing that this water asked was for my drink order, if I was ready to order food and if I wanted to place anymore orders because the kitchen was closing. He did not crack a smile or try to be kind at all. Was definitely a poor customer service experience, and I was really looking forward to visiting the spot for the first time. While the customer service was terrible, the food was pretty good. I ordered a few dim sum appetizers and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and how fulfilling these small appetizers. In addition, it was such a large selection and all priced very fairly. The food alone would make me return but hopefully the service the next time will be a lot better.

We ordered cucumber salad in spicy sauce and soup dumplings. We've never had either dish anywhere. Service was very friendly but we thought at first it was slow for what we ordered. We got two styles of dumplings: The chicken and cabbage, and the shrimp and chive flavors. We enjoyed the chicken and cabbage one the most. We also got one of our goto's: Turnip Cakes. These were also good, but very soft, almost fall apart. We also got some soup dumplings. I was wondering why they didn't give us any soup spoons, which is customary. Now, I may know why: There was no soup in them. They were soupless dumplings. I also ordered some spare ribs. I thought I ordered some blackbean sauce ones, but maybe I either mis-read the menu or they brought the wrong ones, because these were more like black pepper ribs. Regardless, they were decent, and tender. Even the connective tissue around the bones wasn't too tough. One dish I wouldn't get again was the Rice noodles with bbq pork. It was very bland. They don't have a large menu of non-dim-sum items. The service was decent, and the restaurant isn't very large.

Once we put in our order, dish after dish kept on coming out, filling our table and dazzling our eyes and noses. The highlights of the evening were the pork and chive dumplings, whose filling was plentiful, savory and was perfectly blanketed by a chewy silky wrapper perfectly pan fried, but not oily. The other amazing dish we both gobbled up without delay was the fried rice, that was seasoned to perfection and had big chunks of pork throughout. Fried rice like this can be so simple and yet so delicious - highlighting each of the ingredients individually and how they work together in harmony. I always order a lot of dishes because I like what I like and I also know I'll have leftovers. I sent back the pan fried taro pudding because it was so bland and it didn't have many of the main ingredients in it. If it were there, it was so skimpy I didn't find any. (The Chinese sausage and dried shrimp) The pain fries soy sauce noodles were overcooked. It's suppose to be pan fried and it was not. Also very skimpy on the black mushrooms. Not very flavorful. The Steamed shrimp dumplings were mediocre. The skin was gummy and fell apart. The shrimp filling wasn't too bad. The shrimp with rice pasta was probably the best dish there. But it was still lacking in flavor. The steamed ribs with black bean sauce was very bland. The ribs were tough and tasteless. The braised chicken feet were over cooked. The texture was horrible like eating mush. The flavors were also off. The egg tarts looked good but the flavors again were off. Borderline going bad. It had that slight aftertaste of sourness. The shell was also flavorless. The BBQ pork buns were also disappointing. The ratio of bread to filling was off. Very small amount. But I was a little happy this happened because the filling didn't taste good at all. The hot tea was also disappointing. I always order jasmine tea when having dim sum. They used a low quality tea bag instead of real loose jasmine tea leaves which also includes the flowers. No fragrance at all of Jasmine tea. Needless to say, I will not be going back on my next visit. It was very expensive for what they give you. Especially since the food was so bad. I gave it two stars because the service was very good and the view was decent. I am Chinese... born in Hong Kong. So I know what dim sum should taste like. I wish I had seen the review that had a photo of the salt and pepper shrimp before I went because I would not have gone. They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. After searching around online and trying just about everywhere over the past year, I finally found Pagoda online and thought we'd try it. We didn't know this going in, but the restaurant is divided into two sections. One is a "regular" Chinese restaurant and the other is the tiki bar. The staff was SO nice and very cool. They kept apologizing that the tiki part was booked up for the night. We ate dinner on the regular side, then they were all excited to tell us they could fit us in the tiki side after dinner. They even took our leftovers and put them in the fridge while we went over to the tiki side for drinks! All the way around, this is EXACTLY the place I've been searching for. We will be back ASAP.

I ordered the zombie cocktail to start the night and it sure lived up to its name and you don't need 2 for sure. I freely than ordered off the menu and enjoyed a spread layed before me. The first were the deep fried pork dumplings. A bit of sweet ness in your first bite and before I knew it I ate the whole thing..very good. I followed with the fried chicken potstickers. These were amazing!. Cantonese chicken wings were next but that was my "put it in a box to go" item. I did also enjoy a sweet n sour chicken that was so good, not overtaken by veggies but just enough bell peppers and pineapple.Very Tasty.. This place is a true experience and the service was great! Enjoy it with friends or family and check off the box on your places to go in Jax when you visit The Tiki Room..
