Love it! Very clean, great service and amazing food!!Finally a place with great food that stays open past 8pm. Ok....the soup dumplings, won ton soup: enough to share with entrees, yummy pan fried dumplings and also the BEST Mongolian BBQ in the area by far! Amazing teas, and it's a treat to have such a wonderful variety of soup dumplings and SO MUCH MORE!! Go! Try! Eat! Support Local read more

I have been here about 3 times, and each time the food and service was excellent. The servers were extremely nice and helpful. Service was quick but not too quick. The pot sticker dumplings are generous and delicious. The two things on the menu that we really love is the fried rice and the Mongolian Beef, the latter being the best I have ever had at any Asian restaurant. Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth the visit. read more

Soup dumplings are delicious. Cute place, brand new, very clean and great service. Try the green beans, I couldn't stop eating them.

New spot and wanted to try it. The soup dumplings were decent. The general Tso chicken and the beef dumplings were really good but the service was a little poor but they are new and probably working out kinks. Would come back but prob not for a bit. read more

I've been waiting to have a restaurant in Jacksonville that had high scale flavor, atmosphere, and truly a new hotspot that will make you come back over and over again. You can count on getting a excellent meal every time. read more

Zen Dumpling - Soup Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

My new favorite for Asian cuisine! Watch the dumplings getting made fresh at the counter. The service is friendly and proactive. The ambiance is calm yet not stuffy. If you're new to the dumpling world, the staff will guide you graciously and accordingly. read more

I prefer the "Tasty Pot" restaurant from before. The waitresses were unfriendly and manager Grace was not nice. read more

Reminds me of din tai fung. It was only myself so I wish I got to try more dishes but I did get the chili wontons, cucumber salad and beef soup dumplings. All fantastic especiallyyyy with the chilli crisp oil that's on the side of the table. A must add-on. Highly recommend. read more

This place is totally worth the hype, I've seen it on a few instagram pages of foodies I follow in Jax and went with a 6+ group of friends we all loved it we went on a Sunday evening and will definitely be returning. If I could recommend something to a large group like us would be order as a group and not individually to be able to try and tase more items from there menu as we did that mistake we all ordered the same things and went home happily full but wanting to have tried other menu items will def go back and order as a group next time as everything looks so good. Since you walk in you can see everyone's plates and the serving sizes are very generous!! Service is also great 10/10 read more

The food was flavorless and the worst soup and pan fried dumplings I've ever had. The chili wontons do not even look close to the pic on the site and did not even taste like chili wontons at all. I had to spit them out. Even target has better dumplings than the absolute gum fest I received. They would not give me a refund and offered me store credit. I absolutely do not ask for refunds unless it is absolutely disgusting and I could not even get one. They tried to give store credit when all items I've received were disgusting. I do not want any store credit for other items when they couldn't even make the items I wanted right. Even the sauce was bad and I'm a sauce girl. TikTok reviews lied. read more

So so so good! Best and biggest soup dumplings in town, you can absolutely tell they're handmade. The general Tso chicken was amazing as well. Can't wait to go back. read more

Food seemed fresh. Menu didn't have descriptions. There was a QR code to see pics--but still no descriptions. We probably would have ordered more if the menu would have had pics and descriptions. Food wasn't bad. Service was good. Two people, no drinks, 3 items, $40. Chicken dried rice, and the chicken noodles dish--not a lot of chicken. Food all comes out at different timing so you're pretty much left to share or one person eat while others wait for theirs. read more

We had the Xi Long Bao sampler, which was average. I also had the beef rice pancake which was dense & heavy, and mostly flavorless. My wife had vegetable spring rolls which definitely tasted like frozen typical spring rolls. We liked the previous Tasty Pot (same owner) much better. read more

Just great!!! Beautiful and delicious food! Servers were friendly and helpful but speak limited English, likely because it is legit!! read more

A very nice addition to the Jacksonville dim sum scene. The soup dumplings are the best I've had in town and all the other items on the somewhat limited menu looked excellent, as well. I look forward to returning soon. read more

If you're not eating here you are missing out!!! First, we were treated as soon as we walked in, the seating area was clean and everything was in its place at all the tables. Ordering is very easy, you write what you want on a paper. We ordered the sampler soup dumplings and steamed shrimp and pork all of them were delicious and the waitress even showed us how to eat them for the best experience. We will definitely be back and have nothing but good things to say about this place! read more

If 6 stars were available, I'd give them 6 stars. If this place had a bar, it would be one of Jacksonville's best restaurants. Excellent food, friendly service and beautiful inside. read more

Great xiao long bao's! I eat a ton of xlb and I'm from Seattle. These are on par or even better than DTF. IMO. Green beans were really good. The Dan Dan noodles were a bit rich but pretty good. Wasn't a fan of their cucumbers tho. All and all. Bomb. read more

Decided to go here on a whim! We went in to eat less than an hour until closing. Our waitress was very attentive to us . We got pan fried dumplings and soup dumplings both were AMAZING! Sad that we live 7 hours away wish we could eat here more often. read more

Really good place, very clean, the Mongolian dish is really good. The Soup dampling is well prepared and taste really good

The skin of the soup dumplings are too thick and doughy. The flavor of the dumpling was on the non descrip side. We were just in NYC and enjoyed two meals of soup dumplings where the texture of the skin was half the thickness. We also tried the Dan Dan Noodles it was just okay. I am baffled by all the four and five stars ratings. I am Chinese, grew up in San Francisco area and worked in NYC and Zen Dumplings food is at best average. The server was most attentive and friendly. read more

My wife and I got there on a Saturday night @ 7:00 The place was super busy. They sat us immediately. We wrote a bunch of items on that sheet of paper they give you and before you know it food came out super fast , hot and delicious. Our server, Samantha was fantastic and very friendly. The pot stickers were so juicy and amazing. Can't wait to go back and try different things. read more

Food and service were excellent. Servers took time to explain things to us. Clean and inviting restaurant. We ordered too much food because it all looked so good read more

I enjoyed the ambiance to this restaurant, but found the dumplings to be merely okay. I'm not a dumpling connoisseur but they didn't take me, as Guy Fieri would say, to flavor town. The vegetable dumplings I would avoid if I ever went again. Very strange flavor. The chicken and mushroom ones were decent though as was the scallion pancake. Despite the mid food, I'd go again. Sometimes it's a nice reprieve to have simpler flavors. read more

Great experience. All food was fresh and delicious; service was fine, except the fact, the staff come with questions and explanations to us too often. Limited choice of desserts. Size of portions was average. Clean, and not very busy. read more

Went to Zen Dumpling yesterday afternoon for grand opening. They were doing a bogo for boba tea which they have few options of drinks to choose from, however, in order to get the bogo you have to get 2 of the same drink Instead of allowing us to get 2 different ones and pay for the most expensive one. They also only have whole milk, so for those who are lactose intolerance you may want to skip this deal or getting any milk tea boba in general. As far as the food: The food came in fairly amount of time. we ordered soup dumpling with beef, Beef pan fried dumplings, chicken & mushroom dumplings (I couldn't really taste the mushroom) and braised beef noodle soup. When the food came to our table they were just warm including the soup. To me the food were ok, and wish they have more variety of options than just pork, beef, and chicken. It's definitely not vegetarian friendly except for vegetable dumpling. I would go back there only if I'm in the area, but would not go out of my way for it. read more

A great place to eat! I really enjoyed the service and ambience of this restaurant. The food was really good and I plan to go back again.

This is what I have been waiting for all these years. Amazing addition to Jax restaurant scene. Love the soup dumplings and the pancake. Great vibe and service. Will definitely be my go to place from now on. read more

The closest thing to Din Tai Fung in Jacksonville, FL! The soup dumplings were delicious. The beef scallion and string bean apps were also great and I highly recommend. Ambiance is clean and simple, yet with character like the bamboo steamers on the wall - love it. Our server was attentive and wonderful, she checked on us often despite the busy dinner time soft opening. We will definitely be back for more xio long bao! read more

My go to for dumplings. Always good. Always consistent. Service is always good and attentive

I went there for a late lunch date. The ambiance is very authentic and nice. The service is also very good. They are attentive and help instruct you on how to eat the dumplings. We had a very nice waitress. The food was delicious. We got the cucumber salad 9/10, green beans 10/10, pork soup dumplings 8/10, and pan fried bao 9/10. 100% recommend! read more

Our first time ordering take out. Surprised my family! Every bite of each type of dumpling we ordered was delicious. Even the packaging of the food including the carry bag was classy! The dumplings we ordered 3 types were full of ingredients; great choices of dipping sauces too included in our bag. We cannot wait to order and enjoy this food again! read more

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! all of the dumplings we got were just not tasty. The dumplings themselves were hard and obviously frozen. The filling on the inside just was not good. huge downgrade from the Tasty Pot that was there before. My boyfriend and I spent $100 and it was NOT WORTH IT!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

Been waiting for this location to open for months. Just went and the expectations were exceeded! Truffle soup dumplings! Amazing and rich. The zen chili wontons are a unique flavor profile but are a must try. Service is quick and everyone is kind. You must come give them a try. read more

A cute decor and bustling business. Disappointing because the taste just wasn't there. The dumplings were kind of tasteless. The noodles were good but nothing special. The scallion pancake was so plain. The server seemed annoyed by our questions about dishes. It needed garlic or something . So wanted this to be better. read more
