I had…read moreinstalled a brand new 240v receptacle in a single-family home and the homeowners were delighted with the space-saving design of this stackable unit. The upper (dryer) section, failed to turn on upon delivery. I went and double-checked and tested the 240v outlet after their 'installation specialist' said the outlet wasn't wired properly. He's a momma's-boy delivery slave, and I'm an electrician. ANYWAY, they argued the point but agreed to take the unit back to their shop and 'look it over.' The homeowners never heard back from them after two months of leaving messages and voice mails. I took the homeowners to Lowe's, and we bought a brand new stackable unit - and guess what? When we plugged it in to my supposedly 'defective outlet,' everything WORKED! I waited over a year to post this review in hopes JC Appliance would reach out and try somehow to make this right. They still have the machine to this day, and my homeowners never got their money back. Where I come from, this is known as LARCENY. Shame on you JC! Your other reviews reflect your incompetence and dishonesty.

****DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY****…read more I have waited almost four weeks to post this review so I could give JC Appliance and Repair a chance to rectify the situation. Unfortunately they did not. I own a small property management company and am a full time resident of the City of Indio. I had this company replace our broken double oven with one of their $1350 certified models three days prior to Thanksgiving since they say they tested their product and it worked. the following day it showed an error message so (DAVID, great guy so far) said to reset the breaker which we did. Unfortunately, nothing. Our guest were unable to make their thanksgiving dinner at the home and I requested JC appliances remove their default product since we had to pay our guest $1000 refund for the inconvenience. Now, JC appliance owner (Female, UNK name) refuses to give us our money since their invoice states no refunds (Which I did not sign as requested on the invoice and makes the contract void). regardless it has been almost 4 weeks the company will not respond to me, has not mailed me anything other then a short answer of you get store credit. The female owner also had the gall to tell me that i took a gamble buying one of their products since its a 50/50 chance since its used 8D.. wow! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS ITS BRAND NEW. Now we have to go to small claims. Sad for a local small business who can not help other local small businesses and have to scam people.

Aurthur came out, LISTENED to the back story and lore - and spent a good 20 minutes walking around and diagnosing potential issues. He gave me an estimate for my problem child, which honestly was a bit lower than other (non electrical) contractors had given me for much less work. So yeah - value. It was a puzzle, for sure - but it became _personal_ for him, and he and his team relentlessly solved the paranormal electrical issues- actually opening up probably 3/4t of all the outlets in the house - and got everything working flawlessly. A few times over the 5+ hours he was fixing questionable original construction, he kept me up to date on progress and concerns. He came out same day and gave me a completely reasonable estimate to re-locate a cable outlet and install electricity for my brand new gigantic and amazing flat screen. They came out the very next day and the crew arrived on time. They protected my furniture with drop cloths and plastic. The technicians went up to the attic to re-route the wiring. It must have been a zillion degrees up there, but not a single complaint. Although they had to cut out a small area in the wall for the installation, they patched it up perfectly. They even vacuumed and polished my buffet before leaving!! Arthur set a perfect example of how to exceed customer satisfaction expectations. So many desert companies today are completely flaky. They don't show up, add on extras, and do crappy work, and charge a small fortune. Not Azdea! The work that they did was SO professional - they even made the wiring on the back of the TV look and organized with zip ties. They mounted the cable box to the back of the TV. It looks so freaking amazing!!! Thanks guys for doing a great job. Highly recommended.

How this business got all the 5 star reviews is a mystery to me. I scheduled an appointment with…read morethem to get an estimate to repair multiple appliances that had been fried from power surges. Received a window for the next day between 9-12. Tech arrived at 12:15. He diagnosed the problems and told me he would have to get back to me with an estimate as he needed to find the exact cost of the parts and that I would have the estimate by 5:00pm that day. No estimate came. Called the office at 9:00 and was told they would have the tech contact me right away. When noon rolled around and no response I called the office again. This time no one answered so I left a message. They obviously received it as shortly thereafter I got a text with some excuses but telling me it was being prepared and he would send it ASAP. Again, received nothing. I effectively wasted an entire day waiting for an estimate that never came. Now I have to start all over again with a different company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Totally useless.
