For American-style pizza, Zeek's is a pretty good option, especially in Issaquah. I ordered a Wood Butcher pizza (Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and peppers) for pick up, and it was ready right when I walked into the restaurant, which is located at the top of the Highlands. Although I didn't eat in this time, the service seemed to be organized and the employees were friendly. The space itself looks decent as well: modern and clean. As far as the pizza goes, it was pretty good. I normally like really thin crust pizzas, but this crust was crispy as well. Prices are ok (around $25 for a large). Friends had recommended this pizza place to us, so we thought we'd give it a go. I'm SO glad we did! Zeeks is a small pizza joint in the Issaquah Highlands by Blakely Hall. The atmosphere has a cool skater vibe to it and the staff reflects the high school/young adult demographic it targets. It's totally family friendly and my kids loved it. We ordered the "Kitchen Sink" pizza and it came hot and fresh! The crust was the perfect balance of soft and crisp and the flavor was amazing! Some foods leave you with a nasty aftertaste, but I found myself relishing the garlic flavor even after we were halfway home. Now THAT is fresh! So, I've eaten here twice and just had lunch carryout now. The lunch was my favorite! Two slices and a drink for about $6. Previously I had tried some of the more toppings-crazy pizzas, and now I think that is why I didn't like the pizza that much. I got a veggie-topped slice (don't know the name because there weren't signs) and the plain cheese. Oh my gosh, they hit the spot and were quite tasty. The crust was crisp, but not a thin-crust (good as long as you are in the mood for that style), and the slices were not very greasy at all. It was great! After waffling between here or Flying Pizzeria, I chose Zeek's because it seemed marginally cheaper. Well, guess what? After adding a few additional toppings to the Puget Pounder, the pizza came out to $28.55 for a medium...holy cow (and that's pre-tax and delivery charge, total after all that was $33). So much for trying to save a few bucks. Delivery arrived 15 minutes later than their window, so the pizza took about an hour to arrive after putting the order in online. Btw, their online ordering UI is pretty clunky and not very smooth or intuitive. The pizza was pretty good; toppings were fresh and really loaded on to the pizza. I wish it had more sauce though, since that's my fave part of the pizza. But was it $28 good? That, I'm not so sure about. In this case, I'm not convinced that paying more necessarily equals better food. read more

Issaquah Highlands location: I really like Zeeks Pizza. In fact, I used to work there nearly 20 years ago and was happy to return as a customer. Tonight I paid almost $60 for 1.5 pizzas, a half-salad, and two sodas at the Issaquah Highlands location. Yes, that is a top-of-the line price for some delicious pizza. Before leaving I took a peek and discovered my large $26 Texas Leager had a crust that was 2-3" long (edge to center). My kiddo's small pepperoni pizza was not as bad but still had way too much crust. Is this what $60 worth of premium pizza buys? I went back in, returned everything, and got my money refunded. The manager agreed that it wasn't good and he did offer to make another but I declined. I told him they lost a loyal customer. Knee jerk reaction? Maybe...if this was the first time this has happened. Unfortunately, a similar instance happened two other times in the past year where the this location put 13" worth of ingredients on a 16" pizza and took two hours worth of wages for their lack of effort. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere at a restaurant that actually strives to reward your patronage with consistent quality that matches the price. read more

I use to come here all of the time with my wife and kids. We moved in August of 2019 and just moved back only to find out a lot of changes have been made. Including the lack of customer service. Our waitress now makes all drinks at the bar instead of helping the customers with things like refills on water, soda but they do make sure to ask if you want a refill on alcoholic beverages. None of the old staff is here. I know because the girl told me. We also found 3 different beard hairs from the balder guy in the kitchen with the long beard on both of our pizzas. When we wanted refills on soda we had to get up and ask. The whole vibe inside is not the same. Pizzas are now over $31 for a large. There were a lot of unhappy people around us last night do to the bad customer service and slow service. Once the bar area got busy our waitress stayed at bar and never saw her again until we complained. Will never be back again and we came here every Saturday night for family dinner. read more

This place damn near has it all: -Full bar with dining, HDTV's, top shelf booze & many brews on tap. -Heated covered patio. -Family dining area. -Glassed off kitchen view. -Tons of parking. -Freakin' amazing pizza. We usually go straight to the bar because there's never a wait and the bartenders are awesome (Jeremy & Reese). The customer service is friendly and authentic. Great for watching the Seahawks or Mariners... or whatever your thing is. And the pizza... oh man. It's all about the crust. Went to Zeeks on the 4th of July and was surprised that it was open. Our group of six sat outside and were warmed by the heaters hanging overhead. This was my first time there and I ordered a half wild green salad and a Chevre Roast pizza to share ("Goat cheese, roasted red peppers, roasted garlic and fresh basil layered over mozzarella on an olive oil glaze"). It was pretty fabulous! I loved the traditional crust with its wood-fired earthiness, which was complimented perfectly by the creaminess of the sauce. I had a drink made special by the bartender -- can't recall the name but it was fruity (not too sweet) and had fresh basil. I liked how they served a cocktail shaker full of the mixed drink with a martini glass to pour your own; the extra time allowed the flavors to meld better and I even had some left over. When we left, it was after 7pm, we were off to see fireworks and thought we should go back in for a bathroom break before leaving; when we went in, we noticed that they were all cleaning up and found out that they closed at 7 due to the holiday. I felt so bad because our group just kind of took our time there, as we had no clue they closed early. The staff hadn't mentioned anything to us, which was commendable. Had dinner here last night. Monday kids eat free, so there were lots of screaming kids! One side of the restaurant was fairly empty yet we were seated right in the middle of the chaos on the other side. Besides all that, the service was pretty good. Nothing exceptional, waited about 10 minutes before we were approached, waitress said she didn't see us there. Food came out fast. We had the greek salad, which was great, loved the dressing. Chop salad, which was disappointing. They obviously don't know that a chop salad means everything is CHOPPED. Right ingredients and decent dressing. We had the Puget Pounder, which was good, nothing special. And a personal pepperoni pizza, not much to say about that. Pizza was ok, I've definitely had better. I was happy about how fast we got our food and that both pizzas were hot. I might go again to give it another shot. It wasn't bad, just not great and for the price it should stand out. read more

Favorite pizza joint in WA (and best Zeeks location). I was hooked by the Cherry Bomb and came back to try more. Next favorite has got to be Chevre Roast, followed by Yeti, Buffalo Soldier, and Texas Leaguer (no particular order). It's so amazing that I had to (and easily) remember the names of the pizzas. The dough is uniquely delicious and great texture. Everything is fresh... and you can definitely tell. Not a standard pizza place! The salads are also prettttttyyyy delicious, too, if you're trying to go for a slightly healthier route. The breadsticks are zomg good, but for whatever reason, they come out different every time. Sometimes it's better than others, but despite that, it's always amazing. The staff is really nice. Extra plus. After 9p, there's half off on small pizzas if you order a drink. This place is amazing. When going to any restaurant, no matter the occasion or craving, I want 3 things: expert service, scrumptious food, and fair prices. This place hits all three marks and then some. First time coming here but it honestly won't be the last. We were greeted at the door by a man who seemed to be either the owner or a manager, and was super friendly. He was knowledgeable about the menu, patient, and prompt. He recommended the lunch special to us which is an awesome deal: either 2 slices and a drink for like $6 or a slice and half salad (ANY salad on the menu) and a drink for like $7. Great deal for all that food! It came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered 2 lunch specials with the John Candy slice and a half Chop Salad and half Caesar Salad. Everything was super tasty, fresh, and really hit the spot. I seriously can't think of a single thing to complain about here. I love this place! They have wifi, awesome pizza, an outdoor patio that's heated, and you can watch the people in the kitchen. By far, this is my favorite place for pizza in the Issaquah area! Their food is outstanding and fairly priced. Their happy hour is about as good as it gets - $2.50 breadstick orders and half price small pizzas. You really can't beat that. And their food isn't swimming in grease, like the other place in town. The only downside to this place is that because of the economy, they're a little understaffed. Sometimes it can take about 5 minutes longer than you'd like for service, but that's not their fault - and when the service does get to the table, it's great. Perched at the very top of a planned community in Issaquah's Highlands, this Zeeks is much more out-of-the-way than we expected. We were glad that we had called ahead and Kim was willing to get our pizza going in advance. Upon arrival, we were relieved to find that there was a small parking garage. Street parking is minimal and we'd feel bad parking in from of someone's home despite the lack of parking restrictions. We ordered the Puget Pounder, and since we called ahead, it was ready a few minutes after we sat down. On a Sunday night at 7:30pm, the only other folks in the dining room (they have a large bar area) were a group with kids. The pizza was beautifully soft and doughy. I was pleased to note that the olives were in season as many times they have a perfumey taste. The sliced meats were also particularly flavorful. I noticed that my lips burned as if there was a spicy oil of some variety, but none was mentioned in the description. Kim was exceptionally nice throughout the meal, and offered free refills on our fountain beverages even though we had already finished our meal and paid. Overall I was pleased with our visit. The pizza wasn't terribly unusual, but it filled our tummies and was quite tasty and soft. I think I will try one of the restaurants closer to my home despite their lesser ratings on Yelp. read more

Zeeks has the best pizza around! They offer fresh toppings in delicious combinations. Their salads (especially the chop) and cookie sundaes are also very appetizing. Breadsticks are so-so; but admittedly, breadsticks are subpar at most pizza restaurants. They also have a wide variety of events going on - from live bands, to ladies' night, to trivia. Sometimes it's nice to have some entertainment while eating. The only downside is this place can get spendy if you with a group. read more

New to the area from Minneapolis, my husband, 3 year old son and I stopped in for lunch today. Service was great, staff was very friendly. The pizza? Delicious! I had a side salad of mixed greens with a slice of the Puget Pounder. Delicious. I really liked the crust, not too thick but crispy yet chewy at the same time. The pizza wasn't too saucy either. Over sauced pizza is one of my pet peeves! Husband had a couple slices of the Puget Pounder and son had a hearty slice of cheese pizza. He doesn't have a huge appetite, but he ate the entire piece! YUMMY Pizza :). By far my favorite pizza, besides take & bake Papa Murphy's. Zeeks pizza really doesn't seem that greasy! They have great choices to choose from. I always get the buffalo soldier and my boyfriend loves the john candy. It is my favorite pizza place to order from in Issaquah. Today I enjoyed a delicious green salad and the Chicken Club pizza for lunch at Zeek's. WOW! It was amazing, especially when you pour ranch dressing on the Chicken Club pizza. The service was prompt and friendly. The ingredients tasted fresh and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was clean and hip, and I will definitely return with my family to enjoy a dinner together.
