Immidiatley when i looked at them my first impress i was certain the bread that wrapped it is fresh, and made near perfect. While we waited only a short while, i could infer the dedicated passion for which the proprioter incorporated into each order. The feel of the falafel sandwich and how it was also wrapped with a paper so as to make it easy to hold, was obviously prepared by someone who appreciates the nuances of food preparation and humbly delivering perfection. The french fries were exactly as i preferred them. What was the best part is when my wife said to me,,, "This is the best falafel that i have had in America" (she is here for more than ten years) In my experience there are no guarantees but i always have had the greatest satisfaction when i observably can recognize that the proprioter and or family are involved in their resturant. Really good! I was in a hurry so I only tried three of the little flatbreads in the deli case. They were easy to eat and I liked the zaatar option the best. The man working there was friendly and the inside of the restaurant was modernized but still small like I remembered it when it was Lebanese Oven. I miss the original restaurant but I'm glad we have a Syrian/Lebanese restaurant now too! read more

I got a beef shawarma and shis taouk Sandwich from here, both were absolutely delicious. The owner is very nice and has quick service! This place is truly a hidden gem. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming--he greeted me with a big smile the moment I walked in. I let him know it was my first time there, and he took the time to suggest something for me, which I really appreciated. For context, one of my clients had previously bought me a steak shawarma from here, and it was so good that I had to come back and try it for myself. This time, I went with the chicken shawarma wrap, and let me just say--it did not disappoint. The flavor was on point, and the sauce he added tied everything together perfectly. Since I'm on a diet, I skipped the fries and went with a salad instead, which was a great choice. I ordered my food to go, but from what I could see, the restaurant was very clean and had plenty of seating available. Overall, great food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Great place to eat. Everyone was right about the quality of the food. The place itself is 3/5 because it's such a small place and could use some AC but I didn't mind. The owner / cook was fantastic. This place deserves a line out the door that's the only thing missing. The food actually stands out from the usual Levant-style spots. Finally, a place that isn't following the same Americanized menu, The wraps and sandwiches are made the way they're supposed to be made not adjusted to fit the market. That's bold, challenging, and honestly refreshing. They have fries wrap, this is something we miss from the middle east and it's nowhere to be found around here , so we were really thrilled to try it and it was 10/10 . Simple and not too saucy. Great Mediterranean food! We ordered the beef shawarma plate and the chicken shawarma sandwich. Both were delicious! There were a few delicious touches that were different from our typical Mediterranean food restaurants. The meat was wrapped in a wrap with thin fries and gravy. The wrap was deliciously grilled on the outside and cut into 5 pieces. The chicken shawarma sandwich was also in a wrap with thin potato fries and grilled- so tasty! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and polite. I asked what country the food was from and he informed me it was Syria. It's definitely worth a try. read more

I don't usually review places but this was one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had. I got the beef shawarma plate, and they put this sweet dark sauce on top of it and the fries. The man who helped me was really kind despite his lack of English, and the restaurant was cute and small. Tables had Tabasco and olive oil, and it seemed like everyone enjoyed their meals. That man took care of everything, served everybody, and checked to make sure their meals were enjoyable. All the food was excellent, except the fries which were a little too soft for our taste. The baba ganoush and thin wrap schwarma were particularly outstanding. I love this type of food have eaten at many different places specializing in the cuisine of the Levant throughout Southern California, and I have to say that this little Syrian gem offers some of the best we have had since moving from LA to Ventura. read more
