We literally found this place driving down the street, thought "That looks great!" and stopped to give it a try. I don't know if their food truck moves around, but we found it outside the Ventura Brewery. Perfect location. They have wonderful outdoor seating with picnic benches and umbrellas, and you can go inside to the brewery for a drink if you'd like. The gyro sandwich was so delicious and filled with flavorful, tender lamb slices. It was so filling and yet leaves you wishing you could eat a second one! They come with fries, and they were crispy with great seasoning. We also got a Turkish coffee, and my husband loved it - he'd been wanting to try one for so long, and it was everything he had hoped for. I was surprised by how good their prices were. I think I paid $20 out the door for both the gyro and coffee, and for the quality I got, it was a great deal. Parking was also super easy. Everyone here was kind, and we are looking forward to coming back for more gyros. read more

I happened upon this truck in Old Town Camarillo during their Saint Patrick's pub crawl and concerts. I had not had a gyro in many years, it's not something I ever crave, until now. I got one Beef Gyro and one Lamb Gyro, just to try something different. I'm so glad I did because this wasn't just the best gyro I've ever had, this was one of the best foods I've ever had. I was full after just one (as it comes with seasoned fries too), then ate some of the other one and considered buying a third despite not having anymore room. I've never been a fan of lamb, have tried it many ways, and was sure I wasn't going to like the lamb gyro, but it was so tender and flavorful that I think I actually preferred it to the beef. I walked off and started telling random strangers about how good this was, immediately sending pics to friends. I will have to keep my eye out for this truck at future Ventura county events and look forward to my next gyro. read more

The best and maybe only Chicken Shawarma I have ever had. I am now a big fan. The spicy chicken was nice and juicy. Did have the chicken shawarma fries and that too is great. Turkish coffee is strong. Loved it as well. This is 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Will be looking for the truck when it's not at the Hueneme Base. Forgot to take picture. Just devoured it. read more

Came across this food truck while I was at work one day. First of all, I was so happy they were open before 4 or 5 PM. They were parked at a brewery so I would've understood if they opened later, it's just always such a bummer when I'm looking for some new lunch spots. The owners of the truck (I'm guessing they owned it at least), a lovely woman taking orders & a gentleman making the food. They were both SO nice, and let me tell you, a smile goes a long way people. They both genuinely looked so happy to be there, which really just brightened my day. This was by far the cleanest food truck I've ever seen. No I didn't actually jump on up there, but from what I could see, it was spotless. Sparkling even. Falafel is such a difficult dish to make right, I often find myself extremely disappointed. I took a chance and I'm SO happy I did! They were super crispy on the outside but light and airy on the inside. Amazing flavor. I also loved the shape!! Like cutie little chickpea donuts Keep in mind this is a Syrian inspired truck, so Middle Eastern flavors, not Mediterranean. I say that because I'm so used to seeing Greek joints cook up falafel. This was different and I really really enjoyed it. Everything from the sides to the sauces were so delicious. Spot on. Can't wait to be back! read more

The food is always made fresh and the chicken unwrapped is the best go to. I don't always love greens but the way they even make the salad is to die for. I will not only go out of my way for this place but if they are nearby, I'll put my lunch in the fridge and get some food to go! read more

Decided to try Wrapped as I have seen it off the freeway on my way home from work. I ordered the Falafel Wrap and it was absolutely delicious. I saw them make the falafel from scratch and knew it was going to be fresh. I always hate the premade falafel because its so dry and hard to chew. Not the case here at Wrapped! The wrap was about the size of your standard buritto at a taco truck but packed with so much more flavor and fresh veggies. The Falafel Wrap is vegan but their entire menu looks great as well. I'll come back again and try more of what they have to offer. Give them a try! read more

The Greek Food Truck with the Syrian twist is delicious! I love the chicken shawarma and the falafel wrap. My friends always order the gyro. The wraps come with crinkle fries so pro tip- ask for spicy sauce on the side for an amazing fry dipping experience! The service is friendly and food is a good portion size. Liked the food a whole lot but they were out of baklava. Wouldn't include fries, maybe taboule or some Mediterranean dish. Next time I'll be careful about the side dish. read more
