This Mediterranean Grill spot has been a mainstay near Piedmont Park for many years. They have a…read morelong list of mediterranean staples and the portions are always generous. My go-to is the gyro combo with a side of greek potatoes (the latter are amazing, and you get so many it's like a double-side). The pitas are fresh and their tzatziki sauce is great. Service is always friendly and they get it to you quickly, though at peaks times (read: business lunch hour) there can be a line. There is a small dining room with booths and tables if you're looking to dine in. Prices are reasonable, so if you're at the park or strolling the Beltline and jonesing for a gyro, give them a try.

These were times when Beltline was not even around to help it boost in business. Not too many restaurants in the city can claim to have been around this long, especially with multiple locations. All the middle eastern classics are here and while nothing is spectacular, everything is good. The gyro wrap has plentiful gyro meat in it, on the other hand the bread itself is wet, which one can assume happens during preparation of the wrapping and the experience isn't particularly pleasant. The gyro meat itself is fine. Nothing about this gyro is really amazing, but also nothing is terrible. The price is $10 in 2025, which is reasonable for what it is. Aside from the food itself, the people are nice, everything happens quickly and the place is kept clean. Mediterranean Grill is a long running, small business and probably has a special place in the palettes of many Atlantans.

My husband asked the waiter which samosas he preferred since we couldn't decide. The beef samosas were good and quite filling. Two come with an order and they are large. The rice was wonderful. Lots of orange rind and almonds! The lamb was a little tough but delicious. The portions are very generous. I think this restaurant is more suited for dinner and am looking forward to coming back.

We also ordered the spicy mix kebabs , the milky dessert with tea, and mangu. The food was delicious, no complaints there at all. We loved the kebabs, the afghan rice, the bread, and the goat. We ended up ordering more rice because for us the portion was small since we were sharing. The service was slow and they were out of a few popular menu items. It wasn't packed but there were a couple of big tables already seated when we walked in. We never got the mangu and I had to find ways to distract myself since the food took a while to come. However, the servers were kind and apologized many times for the slowness. They even comped the extra rice for us. The ambiance was family friendly but I could see the place being a spot for adults to hang in the evening because there was open space. I think it would be a perfect venue for a small event. Definitely worth a try.

I went for lunch with a friend for a bday outing. Since it's cold, there's a black covering that makes it looks closed, but don't worry, they're open. The inside is clean and pretty much looks new. We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well. Beirut is a great place to go out for a nice outing without going downtown!

I ordered Brenda's Red Snapper and it was outstanding -- perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of vibrant flavor. Easily one of the best snapper dishes I've ever had. For dessert, I tried the Baklava Cheesecake and WOW... the perfect fusion of classic baklava with a rich, creamy cheesecake. It was unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend Beirut to anyone looking for truly authentic Lebanese cuisine!
