I'm not sure if it was shift change or something, but I pulled up to the drive thru after I just watch someone order and was told "one moment". That's no worries, happens all the time at a drive thru and they come back in 1 moment. Well I ended up putting my car in park and sat there for TEN minutes while cars were coming up behind me. Who in the world goes through a drive thru for convenience to have to wait ten minutes to order something. And when someone finally came back, seriously after 10 minutes, they acted like it was a pain to have me order. Terrible service and management. I like our zaxbys food most of the time, but the service is rough probably because they can't keep help because of poor management. read more

Y'all folks get excited about a specialty menu item. When you drive 30 minutes to your nearest Zaxby's to pick it up, it should at least resemble the advertised picture. And, I shouldn't have to cut up all of the meat that comes on the loaded chicken bacon ranch fries. That's why I go to fast food. Because it's ready and I can eat it without having to prepare it myself. I've been coming here for years and continually have problems. I'm finally saying something I should have said long ago. Was not pleased! Chicken tenders were cold and rubbery and the size of a pinky finger and had been cooked for a while. Toast was cold and the fries luke warm. I live out of state and had not been to Zaxby's in almost a yr and I usually stop in when in town visiting family. I was looking forward to it but was very disappointed in the quality as well as quantity! My family and have grown to love the Zaxby's staff, it's the same friendly faces. They all work beautifully together. Though sometimes they can be busy but some how they manage to get the food out. Zaxby's is the place to do small parents and get togethers. They even decorated for a birthday party. Super family friendly. love the restaurant and the service and the staff! read more

I typically avoid fast food but we had a gift card so we gave it a try. My 3 year old got milk with his meal and after drinking it he asked, "mommy, why is the milk warm?" I tasted it and sure enough, it was room temperature. This was close to the worst dining experience I have had. There was no cashier when we went in and waited for 5 minutes for someone to take our order while 6 people stood around with a "not my job" look on their face. We got the wimpy fingers and the chips. The fingers were cold, drowning in sauce, and barely edible. The chips were C- at best. Globs of seasoning heaped on one area and several weren't even cooked. I didn't complain as this is likely a systemic issue deriving from piss poor management and lack of accountability. It serves me right for going here. I promise I will not be back. read more

Hit and miss with this place. Sometimes the staff is on it and the food is great, and sometimes they give you wimpy portions of chicken and fries while forgetting to include sauces. The dining room is clean and eclectic. Okay place if you are craving zaxbys. read more
