We looked for a decent Chinese place after moving to this area and compared to NY. It's very close to where I used to live. Human chicken is always a good choice and have a choice of soup or egg roll with a combo . They have great wonton and egg drop soup , only gripe is egg rolls are like spring rolls . Food was average tasting with average pricing. Fast service and food was hot when they give it to you. It's a plus that when you order sweet and sour pork they put sauce in separate container so it doesn't make it soggy, downside is sauce is cold and dish doesn't come with any pineapple or veggies (just fried meat and sauce). Their Kung Pao is a version I've never seen (contains snow peas and baby corn) and doesn't taste as expected but it's not bad. If you spend over a certain amount of money they give you a free side. We just moved to the area and we're looking for a good Chinese food. Happen to see this on my way to go shopping. Decided we would try it. The food is a little more expensive than we are used to paying in our hometown, but it is all very flavorful and no MSG! The only complaint that we have is there shrimp is covered in a very heavy batter not like a traditional tempura so it was disappointing. Staff is incredibly friendly, fast and efficient. It's very convenient to be able to order online and set your pick up time. So far everything on their menu that we have ordered has been wonderful with the exception of the fried shrimp. read more

My all time favorite Chinese Restaurant! This is my go to take out for lazy nights in. They had shut down during the beginning of the pandemic and I thought I was going to have withdrawals lol. I even tried another place down the road but to my disappointment it couldn't live up to Great Wall. I have never eaten dine in but there is some seating inside the restaurant. There is no buffet thought. When you call in for take out it's usually ready I'm 15 mins. It's always hot and fresh when I pick it up. It's located in the shopping center in front of Walmart. I went there for the first time since moving to Hillsboro. I was really craving Chinese food. After reading some other yelp reviews, I chose to try it. BIG BIG mistake. I ordered orange chicken and fried rice. When I got home my deep fried chicken was not coated with the orange glaze. I called and asked why it wasn't and the man could not understand me or speak very well English. Well what happened is he put sweet and sour chicken and gave me the sweet and sour sauce to put on the chicken myself. What? That's not my job. Not sure why there are so many 1-star reviews, but despite that, I decided to give Great Wall a try and I was not disappointed. I ordered the general tso chicken because the young lady told me it was their best seller . The food came out fast and hot, the portion was very generous and the quality of the food was a little above average. What stood out to me is that the white meat chicken they use actually had a lot of meat unlike most chinese restaurants that drown their chicken in breading which causes it to have barely any meat. I had what is arguably about the worst meal I have ever had in the US, and I am not young, eaten a lot of Chinese food. Kung Pao chicken served in a plastic container like takeout. I had to ask for a plate (plastic) and utensils. Young man did not understand the word napkin, so I grabbed paper towels off the wall behind him. I swear the chicken was microwaved, sitting in a gelatinous sauce right out of a bottle. I could only get about 4 bites down. Nobody there, no surprise. The mystery is how they stay in business. There was hardly any gravy whatsoever in my whole meal. My brother got the sweet-and-sour chicken what he received was chicken nuggets and rice! There was nothing on the chicken to make it sweet and sour! The eggrolls were OK. A little tough but OK. The only good thing about the whole meal was the little cookie they give you for your dessert.
