I would like to tell the restaurant.Thank you very much for letting truck drivers park there overnight.It is a nice place to park at night.When you're cruising through because all the truck stops in the area are most definitely full... i just wish the other truck drivers would not be so damn nasty and leaving their litter behind.There is no reason for this.And I wish they would appreciate the gift of this parking lot that they have been given.... see you all next time. I had lunch there today. Have eaten there many times since the 5 star review, but a problem that is becoming more of a constant theme, particularly today, is that except for the egg drop soup, everything was either cold, or at best, room temperature. The pork egg rolls, the fried rice, the sesame chicken, the chicken on sticks, cold. Makes me nervous knowing that bacteria can grow from food sitting out that isn't properly heated. I wanted to tell the woman who appears to be in charge and took my money, but I'm not sure she could understand me, and I certainly could not understand her. The health department needs to make an inspection there ASAP and pull out the temperature gauge. I'm going to make some phone calls and see if I can make that happen. Restaurant is clean, service is good, and I'd like to keep eating there, but not at the risk of getting a serious foodborne illness. read more

Very nice seafood buffet, fresh salads and fruits, interesting dessert items you won't find in most Asian buffets. Excellent value lunch and takeout, and they open somewhat early so the truckers don't have to start their day very late. The parking is ample but on the weekends, it will be packed with semi trucks. The rear parking desperately needs the attentions of an aggregate in-fill service as all the big trucks have turned the backyard parking into a very difficult surface to navigate, especially for semis that have low airdams and spoilers...so beware, especially at night as you might turn right into a pothole that's almost a foot deep rut in the earth back there. And they close a bit early, so arrive before 7pm to get your fill or plan to just get take out by the pound. read more

My husband surprised me on Friday to try this place that we have passed by on our way home from coming back from Chattanooga he said the parking lot has lots of cars out side. I have not had Chinese food for several years. It was very clean and the food was amazing. The waitress Eva was vice nice. I can't wait to go there again and bring my brother with us. Food is very good. I've had better in bigger cities. But this is top notch for a tiny town. Lots of truckers, that's always a good sign. We liked it much better than the buffet in Kimball. Priced right. There is actually crab in the crab wontons. Spring rolls were very good. Flavored well. Sushi was homemade and good. Fresh. I don't eat meat, there was plenty of fresh cooked vegetables. Mushrooms, green beans, and plenty of broccoli for me to grab from the meat selections. Vegetable quality was good. Quality is often a problem these days. No American food. Just homemade Chinese. Fresh pineapple. Everything was freshly cooked. Negatives: The tea was weak. I brought my family by after visiting my 89 yr old father and introducing my youngest grandson to him. I had been visiting this location since it opened. I decided to give it a chance after a bad experience 10 years ago. The children were hungry and we had to pass the place to get back on the interstate. Over half the food we tried to eat was cold. Cold food on s buffet! Danger, Danger! The sushi was a joke and fail apart when you tried to pick it up. Out of 4 meats! 3 were cold. The food that was hot had good taste. Our server did a good job. However when I asked for a menu the lady was rude. The Ambiance was loud and the place felt dirty. My daughter in law is half Cambodian and she as disgusted with the place and attitude! No one got sick but there was a concern on our drive back to Nashville. I ran Dining Facilities in the Military and this place would not -BE A GO! In my day! read more

Stopped for lunch today because they have truck parking. It's your basic prepackaged Chinese food warmed up and stuck on a buffet. What really scared me was the majority of the food selection was not hot. If fact a lot was barely warm. It was ok and I'm not sick but probably won't be back. Update... Over the next 36 hours after eating here, I spent more time in the bathroom than I cared to. Guess the semi warm food could have contributed to that. read more

We stopped in for lunch while visiting relatives in nearby Tracy City. This is by far and away the best Asian Buffet I have ever eaten in. The selection was amazing, fresh and tasty. There was sashimi and sushi, cold shrimp and oysters, soups, a fresh, crisp, seafood salad, several fruit and dessert options, stir fried and fried meat dishes. There were egg rolls and cream cheese rangoons as well as great vegetable side dishes. Really enjoyed the "Lover Cake" for dessert that I had never seen before, a sort of unfrosted cupcake served in an edible, wonton wrapper. The staff was very attentive. The place was kept clean. By Buffet standards, this place is great. Food is fresh and hot (and tasty) and they have a variety to suit all palates. Staff is attentive and busy. We rolled in with 22 people and it was no problem. They set us up in the back room and we had our own banquet. Best Chinese for miles around. Will be back for sure. read more

My husband and I parked our semi in the big old lot they have in the back and went in for lunch. Unfortunately the power was out today and we only had a card but they were able to take our info to charge us later, so that was awesome. We got the lunch buffet Togo and I filled mine to the brim with all the fresh Chinese they had out. It was sooooo good. Way better than the reviews led on. Is this the best Chinese buffet? No but it is good for the little small town. I didn't come here thinking. There is no way the food was fresh but I was wrong. This place has very friendly staff! They were quick to help us and willing to get us whatever we needed. However, the friendly staff, in my opinion, wasn't enough to help me enjoy the restaurant completely. For one thing, I have seen people on here say that the place looks like it's a bit run down, but the food is better than expected. From my experience, the food WAS better than expected but not by any sort of significant margin. I also keep in mind that I went pretty late in the day so that might have affected the quality of the food they had out. The second thing, my girlfriend and I thought the ice cream would be our savior from the initial meal, but once we started, we noticed how bland it was. It tasted like it was sitting out there for weeks without being replaced. I know we shouldn't waste the food, but it should at least be replaced a little more frequently. Wow! Halfheartedly went into this restaurant on our way to Atlanta. The interior is a little sad. The upside is the huge and delicious selection at their Sunday buffet. I would agree with the previous reviewers about this buffet being an average Chinese buffet and that the outside is plain but the inside is well kept and clean. I will disagree with the staff not being friendly. That interaction goes both ways. I saw the waitress bring out several drinks and other supplies to people around me and I didn't hear one thank you from a patron. For me it's just a habit to say thank you. A couple of thank you's and a smile and I couldn't even drain my ice tea half way without an offer to fill it. I think the staff here are plenty friendly! However, there are a couple of things that are unique to this buffet that could be looked at as an advantage / disadvantage compared to other typical buffets. First off, they have lunch and dinner buffet. The difference is a few dollars around 7 for lunch and 10 for dinner, drink is another buck and a half. Dinner buffet is served all day Sunday, The difference for dinner is the addition of seafood. On the day I was here that included oyster and peel and eat shrimp, I don't recall seeing any crab. The buffet is pretty expansive with full salad bar, sushi, and dessert bar including hand dipped ice cream (6 flavors) and three counters of Chinese food offerings with the handful of American foods to draw in the kids. Now for the point that sets this apart from your local or small town Chinese buffet. It is right off the highway and very near a significant size truck stop. What does this mean? It means that you can come in here pretty much anytime they are open and there are going to be some serious eaters in here. I was worried that I was coming in at an off time and that the food would have been sitting there for a while. When I arrived my worries were laid to rest when i saw some heavy hitters sacrificing their personal health to make sure the food was turning over quick and I was going to get fresh food. For that thank you guys I am very thankful! The downside of course is that a restaurant has to make a profit right? Well I think because of the amount of food they serve they need to bump up the price to protect against some who can actually eat the amount/more than they spend. read more

If you drive over the road for a living, this is a well known and long established China buffet restaurant. Huge parking lot for trucks, food is fresh and staff is very helpful and friendly. They don't speak a whole lot of English, but wait on you very quickly. They have the best and largest crab rangoon that I have ever had. The food is a couple of steps above Panda Express. Not stunning or stellar for traditional Chinese, but hands and shoulders above the competition. They have 30+ stations that are frequently rotated. During our visit on Saturday at 1:30, there was a constant resupply of the selections. For a lunch buffet for $8, more than excellent value. As far as Chinese Buffets go they do a very good job.... the food is fresh and plentiful..... of course if you show up an hour before closing you get what you deserve I would never judge them on that it's unfair...... If you do go during normal business hours.... it all is great. The girls are friendly and attentive. If you are a Trucker traveling I-24 this is an excellent stopping point with a large lot in the rear designated for trucks nice and quiet with a large grassy area next door perfect for the furry co-pilot to stretch there legs.
