I love Taco Bell. I eat it too often. This is the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. This is my hometown Taco Bell. I have tried this place over and over again. It is trash. They are not consistent. Meat is often too dry to recognize. They forget or mess up items the majority of the time. They fold burritos like envelopes. They are incompetent. I wish someone higher up would see how it was running so they could fix it. I wish I had any other Taco Bell closer to me. Every other Taco Bell I have ever been to is better than this one. After about 5mins the young lady working the line said, "you can use the kiosk since we are busy." Then proceeded to walk off while giving us a thumbs up. If it's possible to give no stars, then I'd pick it. My family stopped here last week, on a Tuesday afternoon, around 2:45 pm. The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building (7-8 cars), so I decided to go in and pick up the food. We were only there for ONE ITEM, and when I walked in, there were already people standing around waiting to place their order. The team lead was training a new kitchen line worker, but didn't acknowledge any of us waiting. Five minutes past. A worker showed up and clocked in, yet still didn't take our orders. Eventually, we all managed to get our orders taken when another employee asked the back why so many people were out front... Then the real fun began. We watched as the manager and drive-thru attendant filled drive-thru order after drive-thru order without calling any of ours. I was amazed that my one item was taking THIS LONG, but who could I complain to?? They filled (at least) 10 drive-thru orders before they started calling ours out (inside orders). The drive-thru is not that big, which tells me they weren't looking at the times - they were merely keeping that side going while we all watched - in horrible and yet in utter amazement - at just how long this poor "service" was going to take. I waited 16 minutes for a Power Bowl. That was all I got. When they called my number, there was no acknowledgement, no apologies (for anyone waiting around us), no coupons, no nothing. Pitiful. This store just stole $60 from me, I placed an order on their app, asked for an update after 40 minutes and was told there was only 4 people working and nothing of store being busy. After an hour I get a call from delivery driver and employee stating they erased my order and wanted to know everything I ordered at 10:40pm. Order was placed at 9:25pm. When I asked for a refund I was told to contact Doordash for refund, I did not place order through door dash, it was on the taco bell app. I will be disputing the charges on my account. But wanted to warn others of their night crew scamming people out of money. I've been to this Taco Bell many times and never experienced and issue before. This time, however, the person taking our order named off a long list of items that they were out of before we ordered. They didn't have shells for soft shell tacos, cinnamon twists, mild taco sauce etc. I am not sure how a restaurant runs out of some of the main menu items. I have never seen such a dirty prep area. Paper napkins, sacks, food, packets of taco sauce all over the floor for all the customers to see. Tables were dirty. Nothing but young people working that I could see. I looked at their credit rating and it was 96 but if the state walked in today for a inspection the score would be much lower. By far the absolute worst Taco Bell i have EVER been to (Decherd, TN) and i've been to over 50 locations from Tennessee to Oregon. Every single time i have eaten here they have messed up my order, usually after waiting up to an hour in line as well. This last time has done it for me, especially getting told to leave a good review which i was going to do until i pulled off and was missing over half my tacos. If I could give no stars I would... literally the food was super old and nasty. They took forever to give it to us AND when we went outside for to sit and eat I was attacked by yellow jackets. We went to this taco bell last night and ordered a Combo # 11 which should have been 2 tacos and 2 bean burritos. The second combo was the Dorito Box. In the first portion of the order there was one bean burrito and one chicken burrito and the two soft shelled tacos. The problem with this is that the bean burritos were for a vegetarian and not what he ordered. In the second portion of the order, my box did not include what I ordered. The burrito should have been a burrito supreme and instead was a chicken burrito. The drink orders were screwed up as well. We ordered one large sweet tea and one large unsweet tea. I asked her to repeat the order because it was not right on the screen. When we got to the window I was not given our drinks. I had to finally ask. We then went to check the drinks when we got back to hotel due to being insured that they were correct. We actually ended up with a pepsi and another soda. On top of the issues with the order, we sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes. We eat at taco bell regularly but after this debacle, we will reconsider before EVER pulling into another Taco Bell. read more

The pace was unacceptable. It took roughly thirty-five minutes for two bean burritos with heavy onions (8/18/15) Order (109940) at 6:05:57 PM. There was not even a crowd--a few cars were at the drive-through, and there were very few patrons inside. More importantly, I was order 140; however, the gentleman who was waiting on order 137 gave me his receipt after 20 minutes because he had to go to work. This is unconscionable that someone would pay for a meal at a fast food restaurant, wait patiently for it, and have to leave because the service is too slow to continue waiting and risk being late to work. There is nothing that illustrates incompetence more. This gentleman worked at the Nissan plant up the road. You owe him a meal. I am appalled that someone went to work hungry because the employees at the 1820 Decherd Blvd Decherd, TN 37324 location (Cashier Colton C) have not been trained and therefore lack the skills to perform their duties in a way that is reasonable and satisfactory. I will never patronize this Taco Bell again. read more
