Sadly we stopped in at this McDonalds to grab a "quick bite" for dinner. The server who took my order had not been trained properly on the register. Without remorse of any kind she continued to make mistakes with a "who cares" attitude. When I pointed out that her mistakes were costing me extra money because of the way she rang up the food she just stared at me until I requested to speak with the manager. The manager refunded me the money and then I waited half an hour for my food. I waited patiently, only once asking if I could have my drinks and happy meal which had been sitting getting warm/cold on the bench for over 15 minutes so I could take them to my waiting family in the car. The girl looked at me with a look of sheer hatred just for calmly asking for them. When I returned to wait for the rest of my meal and stood waiting an additional ten minutes the same inept server slammed a scrunched up bag on the counter in front of me and sneered a "have a great night" out at me. I then asked for my large Coke Zero which she had yet to give me, as she had only given me the coffee and small Fanta with the happy meal. She again just stared at me like she was just wishing I'd go away and staring at me would make that happen. So I proceeded to explain what I'd received and that the drink was missing, calmly asking her to please get it for me as I'd paid for it. She screamed "Don't be rude to me" and proceeded to storm out the back. At this point I DID get angry, having waited over half an hour at this point for a cold, miserable meal I'd paid good money for and then been accused of rudeness for simply asking for what I'd paid for. The manager came out and glared at me saying "She's a child". I'm sorry, but as a "child" I myself worked at McDonalds, and was expected to give fast and courteous service to my customers with a smile and crisply folded bag with meal inside, not something that looks like a hobo has had it for a week. I would have been fired on the spot for acting the way this girl did. I replied that if she wants to be paid to work then there are certain expectations of her behaviour and being rude to customers is not a great way to act in customer service. When I finally received my order, the nuggets I had ordered were missing. I walked in AGAIN to ask for what I'd paid for only to find the staff all gossiping about me. To have to pay money to stand and wait over half an hour for "fast" food, be dismissed and treated poorly and with disrespect for simply asking to receive what I paid for, overcharged, served cold food on top of all that is absolutely ridiculous. It's no wonder McDonald's, once a thriving empire has dramatically lost market share and popularity. This treatment along with ever increasing prices for ever shrinking and tasteless food will spell out their demise. Went to the drive thru to order a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a coffee. At the first window the girl ignored me so I drove by, as did the car in front of me. When I got to the second window the girl asked, "she didn't take your pay?" I said no. She had to go back to the first girl to process my payment. Got my bag and coffee. When I got to work and opened the bag. Bacon egg and cheese biscuit! Not sausage as I ordered. McDonald's needs to get their act together. read more

The food quality has continued to decline. Our favorite used to be the fish sandwich. The only thing about the sandwich that has remained the same is the tartar sauce. They have changed the bun and how it's warmed. The fish is much smaller and tough. They only use a half of a piece of cheese on a full piece bun. The worst thing is the price didn't go up, it doubled! Kiosk machines are nice but McDonald's machines are terrible to navigate! We will look at other options.!! read more

Order is almost always wrong. When asked to correct the order they seem reluctant to fix it. Honestly, this is the reason I rarely go to McDonald's anymore, especially the locations near us. It seems they all have the same bad management. The ones up in the larger towns like Murfreesboro are good but the locations out here have very poor customer service and food quality. I went to get my food and some young workers deliberately laughed at me while I got my food. The girls couldn't have been younger than 18 years old. The establishment is the worst one I've been too by far, I'd rather drive to Shelbyville's terrible McDonald's than the one in Winchester. I tried to place mobile orders for 4 different people in my family. with all of our phones. I had 1 of the people go to the restaurant to pick them up. He was unable to get the other 3 order DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE HAD THE CODES AVAILABLE. The cashier acted like she could care less! I really do not appreciate that kind of customer service. This is possibly the worst McDonalds in the Region. Well known for being understaffed and MIS-Manager in every way possible. Drive thru orders are NEVER correct and always missing something or with undesired toppings etc. It was completely rebuilt about a year ago but it didn't get any better. In Winchester, TN McDonald's the face lift looks great, but don't be fooled, behind that new paint is a crew of rude employees and terrible management. Service at this McDonald's is terrible! Avoid trying to order at the drive through if at all possible! Seems employees working the drive through can't get orders correct. Just ordered a large caramel iced coffee. They didn't put caramel in it so I went back in for caramel and the manager informed me that she did indeed put caramel in it. I replied "I can't taste it and I get these every morning" She proceeded to become hostile with me saying Re-iterating that she did put caramel in it and would give me extra this once???? I asked if she normally argues with her customers when one of her staff said I was being "extra " And told me to "go on" and shut the window. The food was standard McDonald's fare but the staff was atrocious. I had a coupon to use for this new crafted sandwich deal they had so I thought "might as well" and went. When I pulled up to pay two employees in the back were cursing about me and spouting vulgarities because I "might as well have just ordered a regular burger" (I asked to hold a couple of toppings). Terrible service. Just ordered an Egg McMuffin and large coke at drive through. The coke tasted BAD. Very little coke in it. Took it back in and let a young man at the register know. He said "Come on". We went to the machine in the lobby. He got some in a small cup, tasted it and said "It's not that bad" and walked away. I got some and it was almost clear liquid. I asked to speak to the manager. I explained what had happened and she tasted it. She said "It's out of coke, we've been having trouble with it this morning". She called for another employee and they walked away. I waited a few minutes. No one came back so I got some Dr Pepper, it was bad too. I left the store. Place is a joke. Son burned his hand by putting on the wall to enter the store. We then noticed three burning cigarettes jammed in the bricks where employees smoke at the entrance. Dirty store, door broke, dining room full of flies. Now, they did remodel but the franchisee sold and it is once again a corporate store so with no oversight I don't see much help for this place. read more

Yelp would not let me post this without clicking a star but would liked to have given this establishment a zero after trying to eat here several weeks ago. This restaurant needs some good management!! I was served a stale hamburger with a dead fly (just happened to find it as I opened my burger to unfold the lettuce so it covered the whole burger). After bringing this to the managers attention, I was offered other food but no refund & she could see the sandwich was not eaten. No way I could eat anything else at that time (sick to my stomach) but a refund or credit might have gotten me to try another McDonalds at a later date. Can't go into this one ever again! read more

Visited here earlier this week, none of the employees that had corn rows or weaves in there hair, had hair nets on. I believe this is against health regulations. If you handle food you are required to wear a hair net. It doesn't matter if it is real hair or not. The lobby was dirty and drink counter was not clean. Very disappointing. read more
