Picked up my online order and drove all the way back home to enjoy my food. Opened my bag and not a single item listed on the receipt was in the bag. They got the order completely wrong so I drove 20 mins back to this location. Walked in and asked them to remake the order and get it correct this time. They were polite and willing to fix the mistake so I was happy. Got back in the car and drove back home. Opened the food and looked inside and boom there was about a foot long jet black hair mixed into the boneless wings. Cook in the back was a Male with long black hair and no hairnet. Threw the food away. Wasted 40 mins driving back to this location then back to my house wasting time and gas to then realize they left a long hair in my food. 10/10 wouldn't recommend. Go to Popeyes or Chik-Fil-A instead. read more

Terrible customer service I was waiting in the line for about 15 or 20 minutes and when we got up to the drive-through speaker, it wasn't even working it was like stactic when I pulled up to the window and employee was just stocking not even taking the order and not even coming up to the window completely ridiculous! And then she was stocking even more! So I was like nope I'm going inside and then I went inside. There was not even managers at the front they were like in their back office or something and then I told the cashier I had an order a mobile order and then the managers started coming out and then one of the lady managers said did somebody get your order? I was completely annoyed but I said yes, like I was annoyed and she literally saw that someone claimed our order completely ridiculous. I am 100% never coming back to this establishment I will go to other ones I will drive all the way to Oxford just to get me some Zaxby's because the car one has completely went out of line so do not go to the Sylacauga one Try to find one like Oxford or something and there was like a lot of cars waiting so if you were planning to go to the drive-through today for the Zaxby's do not. read more

Tried this place while visiting from Cali. It was just okay. My fam had the chicken tender combo and I had the wings combo. I love hot food and despite ordering spicy wings, the seasoning were barely mild. I guess not bad if you want some quick chicken, but definitely had better in Cali. read more

I absoutely appreciate this is the only fast food restaurant where i never have to check the bag. The food is always fresh, and customer service is great. They even advertise the calories in the drive thru clear enough to read them. The only negative is cost, but honestly its currently on par with every where else. I've never had a complaint about this location in particular and I've visited quite a few times. read more

We came at 8:20 to get food- already had the doors locked while people were still inside! REDICULOUS when the door says they close at 9! A month ago this establishment would've gotten maybe 1-2 stars, it was beyond bad! New owners & new staff earned it a 5-star rating. Here's what I immediately noticed upon the ownership change, no bad attitude from staff acting like a customer is interrupting their social hour, the ice dispenser for the soft drinks actually had ice in it, the floors were no longer sticky with various trash strewn about. The chicken tenders were not dried out, cold and nasty like they've been sitting for hours, the fries weren't both overcooked and cold and swimming in enough salt to use on icy roads the person taking my order asked the proper questions and repeated it back to verify it was correct instead of just standing there with a blank or contemptuous expression. So, congratulations to the new management on sourcing competent help, I hope it stays the way it currently operates. Please don't disappoint everyone by letting the staff do what they did to the previous operation. read more

new ownership has turned this place around. Very pleased with everything that's happened in the past couple months. Outside is cleaned up and food is much better. No water puddles in front of the bathrooms for the first time in forever. The food taste hot and fresh and workers are actually pleasant to speak to now vs acting as if im a burden. It's Zaxby's which has its place. Zaxby's is normal decent quick service fried food. But this location? Not so much. The place is dirty. Nasty dirty. The drink machine is disgusting. Bathroom too. But my biggest gripe is they don't put napkins out. You have to ask. And ketchup. For God's sake, put the friggin napkins and ketchup back out. read more

I've come here often over the years during my travels between Birmingham and Auburn. Located in a easy location right off highway 280. Food is consistently good and staff is friendly. This last visit, the Cashier was kind enough to give us an extra soda cup as well! The big zax snak is the perfect size for a tasty meal for your travels and if I got any bigger of a meal I would recommend getting extra zax sauce. It's like a better creamy, tangy and smoky version of ranch. I now live in Oregon and always have this on my Foods to eat list when I visit Alabama. read more

The good thing about Zaxby's is the consistency. Their food seems to be the same across restaurants.....no surprises. That's good. This one is no different. The food is hot and flavorful. The chicken fingers are always good. Tried some regular wings with the Wimpy sauce. Hurt my pride a bit but it was actually very good! The staff members were not overly friendly today. Meh, everyone has off days, I guess. Anyway, Zaxby's, even though I don't consider it "fine dining," will always be on my list of places I like to eat. read more

The worst Zaxby's I've ever been to. The fries weren't cooked all the way, the drinks were out of carbonation, and the chicken tasted like dishwater. Nobody seemed to really care about their jobs, and they seemed to pay more attention to their conversations than to cooking the food. Drink machine was disgusting.
