When you walk in, you come face to face with a big cooler full of all sorts of heavenly cakes and desserts. I like to size them up before I sit down so I have an idea of what I want when the meal is over. I usually get the Lasagna Bianca. A bertolone's original, this delicious dish boasts chunks of Italian sausage, a creamy, cheesy sauce, and turnip greens. Rich and satisfying, it can't be missed!! The tables are stocked with chunks of bread and bottles of dipping sauce made onsite. The interior is warm and inviting, with one large wall dominated by pictures of the family that founded Bertolones and Joe's Italian. Please check out this great spot!

The place was definitely busy, but there were still tables available. We were greeted promptly when we got there. I got a frozen strawberry margarita that was very delicious. I prefer thinner chips in these chips were a little thick. The salsa was OK as was the cheese dip. My son got nachos with beef and cheese and a side of rice. I decided to get the grilled chicken quesadilla I asked for no peppers, but onions were OK when I got my food. There were peppers in the quesadilla that I had to pick out. The server was running the bar and waiting tables. You could tell he was doing a lot all at once. The grilled chicken just did not taste right I couldn't even finish my quesadilla. The beans were good if I was to go there again I would probably get ground beef or a cheese entrée. I'm not sure if I'll be back if I do go back it would definitely be for the margaritas Because of the events outside, you could see a lot of people just walking to use the bathroom and when I went in there, the toilet would not flush.

We only had one. The chip could've been a little thinner. It's rude to find a raspberry margarita so I wanted to get one unfortunately they didn't have any frozen ones. They were just on the rocks. I was pretty shocked when I looked at the receipt and saw that it was $17 for a Margarita and it definitely wasn't worth that much. It had kind of a weird taste to it. We did get the cheese dip and it was very delicious. I decided to try the Mexican lasagna, which was so delicious. I got it with the beef and it was layers of ground beef, pico beans, and possibly some rice too. It was a good portion and I ended up bringing the other half home. My son ended up getting nachos with shrimp, chicken and steak and he really enjoyed it and finished his whole plate. I will definitely be back sooner than later because I love some good Mexican food, but I will probably end up getting just a soda next time. Fernando was our waiter and he was very attentive.
