Lunch here yesterday. I had the salad bar and fried chicken fingers. Salad was good and fresh. Chicken fingers were some of the best I have ever had. Only suggestion, I would prefer a glass plate and real silverware to eat a salad. read more

Great for lunch. The portions were generous. I was with a party of 6 and our food came out in a decent amount of time and hot. They seemed to be short handed for the lunch crowd on this particular day, but the wait staff had a good attitude and checked on us frequently. read more

A great example of not judging a book by its cover. Yes, this barbecue restaurant is in a funky, little rundown gas station, but the barbecue was great! I had the pork plate and the barbecue was moist, smoky and full of flavor. The sauce itself did not overpower the flavor of the pork but did what it should do and that is accent the flavor of the meet. The coleslaw side was crisp and tasty and oh man, the potato salad was fantastic! There is very limited seating in their super small space. I'm sure most folks get their orders to go. There is one bathroom in the gas station and it's small, cluttered and a bit nasty. read more

Overall pretty good. Besides the waitress spraying bleach on the surrounding tables misting us while we were in the middle of our dinner.

Well was in town with family, looks to be in a new building and wasn't packed when arrived. 5 total plates ordered 2 was messed up. Waited a while no problem if fresh it was by looks of it. Couldn't eat mine it had cheese on it. I ordered a 1/2 pound hamburger with fries. I got a CHEESE burger with fries. I don't get cheese because I know cheese and me don't get along. I always love a good barbecue joint. I had wings here the other day. The wings were okay. They were in a sweeter sauce than I'm used to, and also not as meaty as some I've had at other places. Food is outstanding. Service is not very good to be honest. Never can get anyone on the phone to order carry out. I thought maybe their phone was out of order or maybe they were just on it with another customer so I went inside since I live really close. To test it, I called while I was waiting at the checkout. The phone ringer was either off or it was off the hook I can't remember. Tons of teenagers in there doing nothing. There were no customers. Get there early. They close at 8 pm. They serve some of the best smoked wings you will ever eat. Their bbq is good too. If you want something different try the porky fries. I recommend a half order if you're dining alone because a whole order is way too much for one meal. read more

We ordered food at 5:20 and got told it would be about 20-25 minutes. We went to pick up around 5:50, waited in line about 15 minutes and decided to walk inside because a car had just been waiting in front of us. If the person in the windows food isn't ready or won't be in the next 5-10 minutes maybe tell them to pull around or pull into a spot to wait. When I walked inside to get my order, they couldn't find my name/order and realized they didn't even put my order in when I called. We're now about an hour in from when I ordered and they say "we can put your order in now it will take 10 minutes"...I understand being busy on a Saturday evening but come on, this happens every time I call. Didn't have any steak sauce to hide the hamburger steak...and who can't change the channels on the TV to a sporting event or anything that doesn't require you to hear it to enjoy it.
