Lemon Drop Martini was one of the best I've had! Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and our waitress Gracie was AMAZING!

    Trust me, I finished it...eventually.

I had the PARMESAN CHICKEN SANDWICH. It is great and very filling. The "station" is very pretty, noting that it was once a fire station. A impeccable restaurant indeed.

It was a lot of food, service was great. And the place was a buzz. We got the fried green tomatoes, which wasn't my choice and might mention on the menu (i didn't even look at it) that it is chucks instead of slices. I personally like my thinner slices of tomato for that slight hit of green tomato flavor but these are juicy and thickx I'm not tomato crazy anyway so don't take my advice on not liking these, if you like a thickly sliced fried green tomato these are for you. I would have thought i had covid when my meal arrived. There is no flavor to the main dish unless you are using a sauce. I think they don't want to over season the food so they under season it. I know most people add salt or pepper or hot sauce to their food but i have literally never done that, out to eat or at home. You can say that's my own fault, and that's fair. It might be the batter out food was fried in that needed at least salt and pepper. They could also do themselves a favor and make a better tater sauce. I don't know if this was homemade but it was very heavy on the Mayo and light on flavor and did nothing for the fish. The superstar of these photos is the coleslaw. I don't even eat coleslaw and i devoured this coleslaw. Paired perfectly with the fries for the fish and chips. Our waiter was very lovey and friendly. We also had desert a lava cake and a strawberry short cake, absoutely no complaints there.

They also have some half-price appetizers during that time. We were promptly seated, didn't have a weight. This is my first time at this location. I had been to the one in Alabaster and Hoover location, but not this location. Our server's name is Shellee. She said it was her second shift. I never would've known unless she told me she was extremely attentive and friendly. We both started off with the perfect margarita on the rocks. We each had two of them. They were so delicious. I believe she said the bartender's name was Kasey. She definitely did a great job on those drink. We had a pretzel and beer cheese appetizer to start with which was very delicious and was recommended by the server. For dinner, I have the buffalo chicken wrap and my partner had the ribs. We were both happy with our meals. I did visit the bathroom and it was very clean. It definitely is one of the bigger locations I will definitely be back here again

The bartenders were and always are friendly and efficient, you wait for nothing. It appears I will be in this area weekly for some time to come. The way things worked out, this trip was supposed to be a quick-short stop. So we got the bar and couple cocktails to finish up our day. Seeing a couple appetizers being passed near...and after a couple Good People Snake Handlers, they were looking really good. The Back 40 Brewery Man was onsite giving samples. So one of my group broke with leaving quickly and ordered what I think is some of the best fried alligator I have ever eaten. So after a couple of fingers of good Scotch, we all sampled a cup of Red-Beans and Rice. Delicious I had to leave and got a couple of these signature burgers to go. I got the double bacon cheeseburger & Hangover Burger all the way this. These were both delicious

A true hidden gem right off Highway 280…read more Let me just say--this place is absolutely beautiful. From the ambiance to the staff, everything felt elevated from the moment we walked in. We made reservations for Bae's birthday dinner, and they welcomed us with a handwritten card signed by the entire staff... such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for the night. Now let's get into the food To start, I had the Charred Grapefruit Martini--perfection. Smooth, refreshing, and just the right balance. We ordered the Butter Crab Sushi and Lobster Bisque to kick things off, and both were incredible. For our entrées, we went with the Steak Frites (with a little switch-up on the sides), and baby... nothing missed. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. This is one of those places where you can confidently order anything on the menu. 10/10 experience--don't forget to tip generously, the staff truly deserves it!

Traffic can be heavy on 280 during rush hour. There's adequate parking with beautiful foliage and an attractive outdoor waiting area. This location has been there almost 10 years and their decor is still simple and contemporary. There's two large dining rooms separated by an open bar. They do take reservations and with a dinner reservation, we were seated quickly. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant had filled with guests waiting to be seated for a bustling Thursday evening. In addition to their specials, there's a nice variety to their menu with steaks, chicken and fish dishes. We got the Spinach and Artichoke dip appetizer which arrived quickly. The dip had good flavor. The chips were good, but I wasn't that impressed with the salsa. Tammy and I split a caesar salad so they served it in separate bowls. The salad also had a nice flavor and on par. Chase tried the short rib. Presentation was outstanding. It was served with two onion rings and mashed potatoes. There wasn't anything left on his plate when he was done. Tammy tried the crab cakes. It was served with a large mass of skinny fries. I stole a bite and the crab cakes were outstanding. Yom Yom Yom Yom. I ordered the Fish & Chips which arrived on an extra large plate with about seven strips of cod coated and deep fried next to another large mass of string fries with room for slaw. The fries were perfect. The mayonnaise based slaw was creamy, tangy and even a little sweet. It was outstanding and one of the best slaws I've ever had! Yom Yom Yom Yom. The cod was also good but I thought it was a little heavy on the batter. Since I love a good tartar sauce, I have to give a shoutout for their homemade tartar sauce. We saved room for dessert and their bread pudding and pizookie with vanilla ice cream was so rich, it raised my A1c a couple of points! Service was outstanding. Our waiter checked on us regularly and our glasses of water were constantly topped off even as the restaurant filled with more patrons. I would return just to try their snapper, salmon, trout or filet. Keep in mind, their price point is higher than most but this is their level of service and they do it well.

Probably 3-4 times a month with our family of 5. We've likely had everything on the menu. And it's all just really very good. Literally all of it. I'm a big foodie, so I don't just throw around this kind of truth . It's rare that a restaurant is consistent in the food quality, but The Ridge has it. It has that old school "Cheers" kind of vibe. They remember names, they make jokes, they have fun- the staff is just fantastic. It's why you see a lot of the same customers in there on a Friday night. The draft beer selection changes frequently and there's always a lot of good choices. The fries recently changed and they are fried potato PERFECTION. Very fresh toppings to complete this delicious burger with a soft , warm bun. Soo good!!! The tots are perfectly browned and potato-y inside. Simplistically delicious.
