When scooping, some potatoes splashed on her clothing and hand, she wiped them off with her hand, unsanitary and joked about it. Pulled into the drive through after a long day of driving. Haven't been to Bojangles for a long while but it's close to our hotel. I ordered 3 pieces of chicken for my wife along with 2 sides (mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw). Lady at the window said it would be 15 minutes to cook the chicken. It's 5pm and I am at a chicken restaurant! I have been waiting for 25 minutes now. Tamara was friendly and apologized for the delay. The cook came out to my car and said that they don't have the chicken wing that was supposed to come with the meal and asked if he could give me an extra breast instead which was fine. Wife said that the chicken and sides were good. Food was good but the experience was not. * On a side note, the last Bojangles I visited (nearly 20 years ago while my family was visiting my wife and I in Summerville, SC) was "all out of chicken" when I went to pick up some dinner there for everyone I may never return to another Bojangles. Sad review. When we first walked in poor girl even told us, "im new and don't know the menu" she was very sweet but clearly not trained at all. I felt so bad for her. Manager came out very mad throwing around silver pans in the heating elements - terrible attitude. Then, my chicken biscuit was so old and had been sitting so long I had to ask for another one, was made to feel bad, but just got another one that was just the same. Soda machine down and the tea was old - you could tell it was sitting around just like the food. It was the worst. This place needs help. Monday, August 15, 2022. I ordered through DoorDash 2 piece, Beast & Combo, and the meat as tender fresh, skin crispy and lots of meat and the Buffalo sauce I dipped in on was delicious. I was very impressed with the large portions of meat on my chicken. Next the Dirty Rice reminded of Cajun which reminded me of New Orleans it was so good and I give it 5 stars , and the Pinto Beans I give it 4 stars. My Biscuit was fresh. homemade and very good therefore I give it 5 stars. The Famous Sweet Teas lives up to its name and I give it 5 stars.I could tell it was just made because my first few sips were warm of my Sweet tea and then later it was cold. Yes. I eat at a lot of chicken places (I guess I am predisposed. LOL). This place is literally across the parking lot from my hotel, and I stopped in to get a late - around 8pm - meal. I ordered a box with biscuits - which they had to make it fresh (it was close to closing time). The staff was REALLY accommodating and apologetic for making me wait... even though it was my fault for ordering the meal LOL. Food came out pretty quickly and HAWT. Im a regular to Bojangles in general, not just this location. Been to this location on two different trips and was consistent and in line with the chains standards. Excellent biscuits, possibly the best biscuits of any chain. Made fresh every day, and served hot! The meats are good as well, but I do miss the southern chicken biscuit as that was my favorite. The country ham is good, not too salty, but slightly jerky in texture. Sausage is good as well, well flavored but not too overpowering! Country steak is good as well, but I've not had a great deal of these over the years! Tea is something of trial and error on, as I like good flavored tea, not too sweet they do a good job at trying to be consistent. This location has been so fo me. Please close this store. Since opening it continues to get worse. The management and franchise owner refuse to take responsibility for training the staff and they are overwhelmed on a daily basis. The most recent health department score gives them an 80, which the corporate marketing team reports is due to a frozen pipe in Feb. not cleanliness. Reading the health department report indicates failure of cleanliness, food temperature, storage and a variety of other issues unrelated to a frozen pipe. Love my Bojangles but will NOT visit this store again. It's a shame a single location can be so out of standards that the majority of managers and franchise owners adhere to. read more

Though we were not familiar with the restaurant we decided to try Bojangles because we didn't like any of the other options around. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place and the politeness of the servers. The food was well cooked with just enough spice to give it a little kick but not ruin it for people not prone to eat spicy foods. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend. (It was also nice that they didn't have screaming rock music playing in the background but actually nice contemporary music which made for a pleasant atmosphere) read more
