Unfortunately, I have had a completely different experience with the attached coffee bar. The staff frequently encourages me to try the coffee, and I have now given it seven or eight chances, both while eating at the restaurant and by stopping in specifically for a drink. Almost every time, they have been out of at least one ingredient needed to make the drink I ordered. Each time, I'm told that it is unusual or given a reason why it happened, but after experiencing the same issue repeatedly, it no longer feels like an occasional problem. Even when they have been able to make my drink, the quality has been disappointing. Some drinks have tasted watery, while others have had a noticeably sour espresso taste, as though the shot was not pulled correctly. I have continued returning because I enjoy the restaurant and really wanted to give the coffee side a fair chance, but after seven or eight disappointing experiences, I cannot recommend it for coffee. I hope they are able to improve the consistency and keep the necessary ingredients stocked because the restaurant itself has so much potential. :(

We have all been here before and enjoy the casual elegant dining environment. As I mentioned, we arrived early so seating wasn't a problem. Our server was friendly and attentive and took care of all our dining needs. We started out with our favorite appetizer, Shrimp Fritto Misto. This was served piping hot, well prepared and delicious. The shrimp and bell peppers were coated with a light breading and served with two dipping sauces. All our entrees were amazing and delicious, but I'll focus on my entree and my wife's entree. I ordered the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini. This was prepared well and seasoned perfectly with a little spicy heat. You can order the steak medallions to your desired doneness, which is medium rare for me. I had one of their Italian Margaritas, which is served in a wide rimmed glass dipped in flavored sugar and comes with a shot of Amaretto. I've had these at various Olive Gardens for years, and this location makes them very well. Of course, we all had the Olive Garden salad and bread sticks, which are always good. For my wife's entree, she had the Grilled Salmon with Garlic Parmesan Buttered Broccoli. My wife, unfortunately, has bad food allergies and must be careful of dairy products, such as cheese and cream. We mentioned this to our server, who immediately stated that he would need to have the manager come out help with her order. The manager promptly arrived and discussed the preparation of her entree and went to notify the chef. Her order arrived just as she needed, but it was still delicious and well prepared. The chef eventually came out as well to make sure her entree was prepared to her liking. One more thing, our server took note of the occasion and offered my grandson his choice of free dessert, which my grandson definitely accepted! High marks! We once again had an excellent experience at this Cabot Olive Garden, and I really don't understand why they have 2.5 stars for the reviews. This is a great restaurant, and I highly recommend it!
