Good BBQ, not the bestest but really good for the area - I'd bite again. Big open space warehouse like atmosphere w/ concrete polished floor (clean). Enjoyed my reunion with old High School buddies and we were 'expert judges' of the quality BBQ. Green beans were uniquely tasty and I enjoyed them. Best all around BBQ in North Central Arkansas. We spend a great deal of time in the area and this place rivals any bbq joint in my home town of Memphis . Get the sausage or the brisket. I don't know how in my years of eating at this wonderful barbecue place that I've never left a review. Every time I come to Searcy for business, I try to hit one of my Searcy favorites. I've had many options from this restaurant. Brisket, burn ends, pork candy, smoked sausages, pulled pork. I can honestly say that he dozens of times I have ordered takeout Have all been really good. Brisket has always been tender, with that wonderful smoked fat that just dissolves in your mouth. Pork Candy nothing like poor man burn ends with pork belly. They are tender and have wonderful flavor. Smoked sausage is one of my favorites. I get it almost every single time I go by there. The jalapeño cheddar is the go to choice. The spices and jalapeño cheddar just worked very well together and it's smoked to perfect perfection. Pulled pork is good and flavorful. It's been a while since I've had it so I can't recite exactly how it tasted. Burnt ends are always a hit. If I get the fatty pieces then I love them and would eat two or 3 pounds of them over a weekend. If it's the non-fatty pieces they're OK. They have a little more chew to them than I like. But that doesn't stop me from getting them when they are offered. New location on race Street is easier to access and it's got dine in options. I know that's good for them. Love the new place. Spacious and the chairs are so comfy. The street corn had a hint of lime that made it so good. The brisket was tender. The brisket tacos had plenty of meat on them. My favorite is the jalapeño cheese sausage link. They also have burgers. The mac n cheese bites were ok. The fries are cooked in beef fat so of course they had a bunch of flavor and didn't get limp. Knight Fire BBQ is some of the best BBQ you will get anywhere! I've never had anything bad, and I've tried almost everything on the menu. We eat here almost every single week. Every time we have family in town we order a turkey breast and a meat sampler. I've never been a huge brisket fan because it's usually dry. But Matt knows what he's doing, and I'm now converted. I can't make a single recommendation because it's all great but I suggest going with some friends and sampling multiple meats. Just get there before they sell out. From the outside it looks rough but once inside very nice and clean. The food was a huge disappointment. Brisket was extremely grease, not much flavor and cold. The jalapeño and cheese sausage was cold as well, but had better flavor. Hope it tastes better after I heat it up. For side I had the potatoe salad which was bland and do not recommend. The baked beans were the best part of the meal. They had great flavor and were hot. Had higher hopes for this BBQ place but left extremely disappointed and will not be back. read more

Let me start by saying that I've been eating Matt's bbq since before he even had a food truck, that being said, it's better every time I get a plate. The new place looks great, nice atmosphere, though just a little dark but that's just my personal preference. I got the 2 meat plate this time, spare ribs and pulled pork with street corn and potato salad. The pulled pork was good, moist, pretty much your standard pulled pork. But the ribs...the ribs were amazing. Sweet, but not overly so, the smoke ring was pretty much the entire rib, moist, just enough of a kick on the rub. No sauce needed on the ribs. I've always been a fan of the potato salad, creamy, tangy, delicious. The street corn was really good and creamy, it just needed a little more of a bite for my taste, maybe some paprika or a little chili powder would have made it perfect. I expected a little bit of a wait for the food after we ordered but it was served in a very timely manner. From ordering to eating was maybe 15 minutes. All in all I'd give the restaurant a 9/10 and the food a 9.5/10. I'll definitely have to get some pictures next time we go and add them to this review. read more
