These might be some of the absolutes saddest wings I have ever had! These are suppose to be their Nuclear wings but had zero sauce or any dry rub to make them remotely close to being spicey. Went there for to-go lunch today. The food was alright. The fries were very limp; I guess they needed to be fried a little more. Ironically, the Zax Signature Sandwich I got was overfried. It was very dark brown and had a "burnt" flavor. Over the 8-9 years they been there I have noticed the food has gone down hill and it accelerated after COVID. Wow....Some folks are seriously NOT loving Zaxbys which is sort of stunning to me TBH. This is Bellevue TN folks! Hope of Crapplebees right next to McDonalds. To have a place that serves quality chicken sandwiches at a good price without imposing bizarro politics on us (I'm looking at you Chick Fil a) is a flipping God send. I've been here probably 10 times since it's opened and service has always been fast, totally accurate and the food is dang good. Like onion rings made out of onion. White meat chicken. That looks like the animal it was derived from not some pressed into oblivioun mystery meat. I love that they check and recheck the orders before they hand it off to you and Consumer Reports just gave them top fast food shakes - and yes, they are delicious. Frequent customer to this location. I always order "The Blue" Zalad and I always enjoy my meal as well as the service. However, I just left this location and did not receive good service at all. The employee, Hannah, who took my order was very rude. She interrupted me several times during the order. When I got to the window she acted as if I was inconveniencing her when my order was rather simple (two of "the blue" zalads). When I got my zalads one of them did not receive any toast and I asked her nicely if I could have it. She then proceeded to tell me that some zalads don't get toast with the meal. This may possibly be true, but I know for a fact that "the blue" does in fact come with toast. Especially since my other "the blue" zalad had it in the box. I informed her of this and she proceeded to argue with me. I then got fed up and left. As a manager of a restaurant myself I would never allow any of my employees to treat a guest that way. I can't tell you how happy I am to have a Zaxby's in Bellevue! Yay! The area is lacking in quality fast casual options especially on Hwy 100. When the restaurant first opened it was constantly packed but now that the newness has "worn out" you can order your food and get out quick. Chicken is always hot and fresh (not to mention addictive) and the crew is always full of smiles. This location has also Freestyle Coke station were you can pick and chose different flavors for your soda or other beverages, a plus for little ones who seem to be fascinated by the concept. This was the first time I have been to Zaxby's. The food was really good! I got the Big Zax Snack. The chicken was really tender and the seasoned fries were awesome! If you are hungry for chicken and have given up on that other "traditional" fried chicken place, you should try Zaxby's. I highly recommend it. This location (Hwy 100j used to be really good when it opened and I had not been in a while so we had dinner here 02/02/20. No one working there appeared to be interested in working and I don't think any of them were older than 17. I was hoping the reason my order took so long was because it was going to be freshly cooked and piping hot. Wrong!!! The chicken was luke warm at best, fries and toast were room temperature cool. As I was eating my cool meal I watched a female employee behind the cash register eating food and licking all of her fingers. She finished quickly and went immediately back to waiting on a customer. Never order the fountain drinks. I don't know what they lace the inside of their cups with or if they just fart into your drink before they pass it to you through the little window there. But sweet Pete Sampras does it feel like I've just about swallowed a pinecone the more my day went on and well into the night, just from drinking from that cup. It's all in the cooks they hire to cook the chicken, some obviously aren't well trained in the art. Buffalo wings first time I went were great, properly cooked. Tried again and not properly cooked-greasy. Tried sandwiches, greasy and salty. I've heard some locations are great, this one maybe having a problem with getting decent cooks. read more
