Lovely spot. The views were awesome the food tasty and the server fun. We went before a concert and got drinks and a bite. You can look at the river and broadway to see all the people. There are 3 floors. There is a bull on the first floor for the adventurous people. Drinks were like $15-$20 so about normal for Broadway. Only country music played so no dancing was seen but maybe it changes later in the evening.

Super nice place, it's very big, they have like 3-4 bar areas, lots of big table and apace for large parties, a bunch of security, nice and huge restrooms, the place looks always very nice and clean, also they have a huge selection of drinks, probably the only thing that I didn't like is that is very pricey in my opinion.

Cool place! Live music, line dancing, rooftop, great service! Just a nice spot to take in the atmosphere of Nash! Excellent food too and a little more lowkey compared to some of the other places on Broadway!

This was our first pit stop kickoff for my friends birthday. She wanted to stop in and ride the mechanical bull. Please make sure to have your ID out and ready to show at the front entrance. Casual, kick back country-themed vibes, spacious bar area that serves beers, wine, whiskey, bourbon soft drinks and other spirits. Photo Ops for pics, live music and band. Nice size dance floor. Rooftop area to overlook downtown Nashville. In the back is where you find the mechanical bull ride. You must sign a waiver before getting on the Bull. $10.00 a ride. We had a blast. The handsome cowboys added the fun to this experience. .

Pat was absolutely incredible. His knowledge of whiskey and charisma kept me locked in for an hour. I told him what I was looking for and he served me an excellent whiskey that fit my tastes. Highly recommend, if you go here, go to the whiskey and bourbon bar and ask for Pat!

Location is everything!! Situated on a corner right on Broadway, their balcony serves up the best view. We went upstairs on a warm Thursday night. Our server was so sweet. It wasn't busy so we received a lot of attention. We ordered a couple of appetizers and tried fun cocktails. Everything was fantastic. It was a perfect laid back evening watching the city at night.

I would say this is the best decor and venue on Broadway! They have the bull for entertainment, an incredible whiskey bar, amazing staff, cleanest bathrooms, and the coolest bar with all hanging lights over the seating. Must see!

Fun times; ok bar for drinks. My bartender seemed rushed and not personable but the drink was good. Friendly atmosphere, centrally located on Broadway street. I hung out at the mechanical bull area and attendee there was adorable, engaging and very friendly. That's what customer service is all about. Easy access, no food was the bummer for me.

This restaurant has such a nice rooftop area. The downstairs is nice too. They always have live music, just like all the other bars and restaurants downtown. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not serve food downstairs. So, upstairs we went. I normally do not call out servers with a bad attitude and/or who do not do their job well. She had a bad attitude to start. We ordered 12 chicken wings and fries. A guy brings out the wings. Fries never come. So, we told him. MacKenzie comes by and says we never said we wanted fries. We did. She was going back and forth with us. Just bring us fries. She believe she was right... Finally, the fries arrive. She sort of throwthrows them down on the table. They have llittle flavor. So, we ordered Mac and Cheese. This was better but not great. The wings were excellent. Highly recommend those. This was actually the first restaurant we ate at in Nashville. Luckily, the rest of the servers we dealt with were awesome.

$15 old fashioned. No rock glass. Served with chipped ice in an 8oz plastic cup like we are toddlers.

We were there on a Wednesday night during a pedal tavern experience. Typical Broadway ambience. Decent band. It's a bit further down the beaten path. The place was pretty empty with about only seven patrons. I love my old fashioneds so figuring that this place was called whiskey River, I would try one. Oof! I'm super embarrassed for them. The drink itself was actually pretty good but the presentation was awful. It was served with chipped ice in a plastic cup.

Full bottles of Tabasco... but you dont have anything to make it spicy.
    Sarah M.

Just a thought, if you don't want to make a drink? Just say so. When we walked in there were a handful of folks inside and the bar wasn't busy. My friend requested a "mexican candy" and was told "I dont have anything to make it spicy, so order something else." So we did. Then after dropping our drinks we noticed the two very full bottles of Tabasco... I was also unimpressed that we were charged for doubles when we didnt ask for doubles and clearly got singles. The music was nice though.

We was not eating food unless you count tequila and lemon drop shots. Love the atmosphere and we was not shoulder to shoulder they have a mechanical bull which is worth the ride. Great place

The view of the strip is great. The staff was friendly. Our server was attentive. The food was quick & hearty but the bill wasnt. Makes for a great experience.

Is there an age limit for this place?

Yes, they had people at the door checking IDs. The atmosphere is definitely a bar, not a restaurant with a bar. I wouldn't bring kids inside.

The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

We got the pork chop medium well bc we like our pork more cooked bc ain't no one trying to get salmonella from undercooked pork. But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. Both main dishes can serve 2 people each, so worth the price and food. Definitely come back! And a shout out to our server Cole, who was great

I would have liked for the toppings to be spread out amongst the chips (once you get to the middle, bottom they were empty). For my drink, I decided to try their bridesmaid's tears and this drink was just ok. It watered down very easily and didn't really have much flavor. I ordered the catfish and subbed fries instead of the grits and it came with collard greens. This meal was ok but the catfish wasn't fried hard (as I requested) and the greens were too vinegar based. The fries, however, were good! The sauce they offered - crawfish cream sauce - was way too oily and didn't have good flavor. Would've preferred a tartar sauce, though. Overall, the spot was ok. We had read somewhere that Acme Feed & Seed (in an historic 1890 building) offered a quieter alternative. We gathered around a nice table near the stage on the first floor, and maybe there were a dozen other people there? Yet, on the next Broadway block things were in full swing? We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. Add the string base, sax, and fiddle, and we experienced a very impressive whole. We were highly entertained and engaged, and we're still talking about the experience!
