We walked in with1 customer seated. We walked to the counter and waited 5+ minutes and 3 women behind the counter and nobody acknowledged us or offered to take our order. We were plain and simple ignored. We are from out of town but stop here about every two weeks. No More. Why do we want to stop where the attitude is so poor that they just ignore you. considered under a few things I worked in customer service all my life (15 years) and I know when things get frustrating they really are frustrating but yesterday I had an experience I don't normally have from this establishmen. First off the customer service sucked, the order taker was pleasant but when we arrived to the window things started to change. we gave them our money and they said nothing about us having to waiting because they was running out of chicken. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and we asked did we need to move up the girl said no at first and 4 seconds later said yea can you move up. mind you one of us is on lunch break at a fast food establishment. So one of the crew members came out and said we are out of wings 30 minutes later...we asked so what do you have she told us we can get a boneless wing meal instead and I said ok. then I thought Im owed so money because I know there was a difference went to try to go inside there was a sign on the door that said running drive thru only. so I bang on the door and someone came and I asked what's the difference between a boneless wing meal and a traditional wings and things. she said she would have to see waited another 15 minutes to be told I couldn't get my surf and turf because they were out of tenders I said ok at this point I'm frustrated, im standing outside pregnant and It was kind of cold and Im hungry. I didnt get in an attitude with them I just wanted what I ordered. 20 minutes later food came out checked the order and was missing a whole meal went back to the door and knocked no one came I called the store and told them what was missing, took them 5/10 to bring it to me. we left got home started to distribute orders the salad was wrong I asked for no onions and cheese their they was, my shrimp was burnt till you could taste the burnt. I was so unsatisfied and you think they cared no. They won't have my business in a while. I really hope this reaches corporate because they need their attitudes adjusted for under pressure moments. 5 stars for what it is. It's not Ruth's Chris but for a chicken place it's great. First, the food was good, smoking hot and served nice and fast. Now on to the important stuff, the staff were great. The young lady at the register asked questions and made a change to a piece of chicken when I asked (just a preference thing on my part.) Every person in the place was nice, even the employee sitting and eat his lunch said hi. I think other reviewers see young workers talking and laughing and having fun as being immature; but it did not impact service at all. Maybe they were so pleasant because they are happy at work. My family and I had a long day driving from Lakeland, Florida to Manning, so we were completely ready to crash. Luckily this Zaxby's was literally right across the street from our hotel! We have always found Zaxby's to be an excellent place to eat and this location was no exception. Not wanting to go into the dining area because we were tired, we chose the drive thru. The staff were friendly and their performance was right on the money. Something no one should have to mention, but nowadays... Our orders were exactly right and came out quickly and with a big smile. The chicken was delicious and the salad was fresh! I couldn't help but notice that the outside of the restaurant has been kept clean and I can only imagine the inside is the same. We don't have Zaxby's so I wanted to know how the kids nibblers was seasoned.
