Burger Chick was our stop for Clarendon County as we road tripped around the Palmetto State getting a hot dog in every county. We arrived shortly after 11 and it was quiet but business get hopping shortly after we arrived. The women behind the counter were patient and friendly as we looked over the menu to pick out what delicious things we'd have for lunch. We settled on two hot dogs (chili, mustard, slaw, and chili, mustard, onions) a cheeseburger, and onion rings. The hot dogs were good. They might not have been the prettiest but I really liked their chili. The burger was good, I wish I had gotten it without tomato. The thick-sliced tomato kinda overpowered the other flavors of the burger. The Onion Rings! THE ONION RINGS. Phew....They were awesome. Breaded liked they were fried chicken they were super crispy and so flavorful. The interior is classic, wood paneled with red/orange booths and several large mounted fish around the perimeter of the ceiling. Burger Chick is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Food is delicious and fresh. The crinkle fries and chicken were cooked in fresh grease. The bread and slaw were absolutely delicious. Need to visit in person next time but omggg it was good! Gizzards are so crunchy good. Well done y'all! read more

$32.00 for two hamburgers with drink and fries. Brought to the table in paper bags so zero ambiance. Neither burger had what was ordered on it. The lady behind the window that took our order acted as though we should be honored to eat there. The food was mediocre at best. Fries were gummy and not crispy. I can't believe the great reviews this place has gotten. Either I expect more than people who eat here do or they've never eaten in good restaurants. I would never return to this place of business. You would do a lot better at Wendy's or Hardee's at a much better price point. read more

Absolutely delicious fried chicken! Can order 2 or 3 piece dinner, white or dark. Dinner comes with fries and coleslaw.

Love the burgers, shrimp, hamburger steak n hot dogs. Fries are the crinkle cut thick fries and I also enjoy the coleslaw. Cold drinks, sweet tea is good n sweet. Service is quick n the restaurant is clean. We love Burger chick for a quick meal. read more

Totally a solid cheeseburger. It's a couple of miles from the highway but way better than a fast food burger. You can tell someone hand-formed the patty. At 2pm, there were a bunch of locals taking their lunch breaks (which is always a good sign). Most of the people ordering didn't even glance at the menu on the wall and knew exactly what they wanted. Ordered ahead for pickup during our travels. Was a pretty hole in the wall diner type of place. Rey tradition for small town America. Greasy crinkle fries and a 2 oz burger. The meat seemed better than a traditional drive through, but was loaded with mayo. I was actually surprised at the amount of mayo they slopped into a 2oz burger. Probably 2-3oz of mayo. Based upon the other reviews ... Maybe I should've ordered the fried shrimp and would've had a better opinion. Very traditional diner type experience in small town America. In the 50's this was a drive in and the type of food continues that tradition even though the car hops are gone. Old times recipes, great fried chicken and cole slaw and so many other things. My favorite is the giant cheeseburger basket. Really good food. read more

great food but customer service sucks!!! you call in an order and they just hang up the phone without asking your name. When you go there they're too busy talking to everybody they know and forget to order your food after taking your money.
