The audio for the drive-thru was terrible-the poor employee, that struggles with this all day!! At least we could leave after we got our order straight! Our food was cold-and sloppily put together! All the burgers fell apart as we tried to eat them-not a great experience while sitting in your car! I was hungry on the road and I would be on the road for another 2 hours so I searched food near me. I did a mobile order for the drive thru so I wouldn't have to wait. It was not faster. I told the lady I had a mobile order and she said pull through. Unfortunately, someone had ordered the whole menu and wanted to tell them their life story before they left. I was about to abandon the drive thru and go in to ask for my food before the guy pulled up. It took 15 minutes to get to the window and another 3 for her to come and get my food to me. She looked very stressed so I guess she was the only one and couldn't handle the orders. People were leaving to go to the chick fil a down the road and it took me faster to eat the food than the time it took to even get it. My burger and fries were lukewarm and my frosty was melted so I had to drink it instead of using it as a dip for the fries. 6 dollars was not worth the wait and I will not be coming back here. They need to hire more workers to speed things up. Do better Wendy's. read more

This store is a complete failure. The lady at the counter was rude and scrolled through Facebook while taking customer orders. The service was incredibly slow. I waited 20 minutes for my food and the staff thinks it's a good idea to place frosties on the counter to melt during the unreasonably long wait. The lady expediting was also very rude and I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by just existing. Definitely not worth 40 dollars. They should bulldoze this store and let the trees reclaim the space so the squirrels and birds have a place to live. It would be a better use of the land than this travesty of a store. read more

Stopped here for dinner because we hadn't stopped at the previous town and were hungry. It was the absolute worst experience ever at a fast food restaurant. Women's bathroom had no soap. I told the cashier, and she asked someone to get it "when you get a chance". Luckily my husband let us in the empty men's restroom to wash our hands. Went to order. I asked the cashier for a full Southwest Avocado Salad, and she said they were out but they had half size. Can I get two half size for the price of a full size? No. Can I get it without cheese? No because they're pre-made. Guess I'll get overcharged and pick out the cheese. When I received them, one was missing the avocado. The dining area was cold, and we noticed that the inner door to the foyer wouldn't close all the way. All the employees were wearing jackets. There were also two trash cans in the middle of the dining area because the ceiling leaked, and people had thrown trash in it, turning it into a soupy mess. Not very appetizing. After eating I needed to wash my hands again because the cheese was sticky, and they still hadn't filled the soap. Another trip to the men's room. Unbelievably incompetent. I guess we are in a full employment economy given the abject incompetence of the workers at this restaurant: 15 minutes to order two hamburgers, a french fries, and a soda. The lady taking the order had no idea what she was doing and had to consult the manager for every customer order. Wow, and it thought government was bad. The food itself was also pretty bad. Avoid this place like the plague. If anyone at Wendy's HQ is alive and still has at least a few neurons firing, here is some advice: Eliminate 90% of the menu items and offer a very small set of items. Stopped for lunch and I regret that decision. Being from Ohio, and a former Wendy's employee (way back), I expect a certain level service and quality, when it comes to a Wendy's. I ordered a #2 combo, mayo only and add extra cheese, large fries and large choc Frosty. The fries looked as if they had been cooked 3 or 4 minutes past the normal time in the fryer. Most of then were burnt, hard and inedible. My sandwich was wrong... although, they did get the extra cheese right! They put everything on it, including xtra mayo. Not what I asked for!!!! Now on to customer service... the girl at the window took my card, handed me the food and frosty and closed the window. She opened the window, handed me my card and closed the window. I waited a moment and she reopened the window. I asked for a receipt and she said, "our printer doesn't work", closed the window and walked away. Horribly slow service! Ordered a harvest salad which is pre-made except for the chicken and bacon that's added to it. That took almost 20 mins to get out, after waiting easily 10-15 mins in line inside. The drive thru line wrapped around the building and there was a line inside so we didn't expect to be in and out but to take so long at a FAST FOOD restaurant was very annoying. When we ordered, the cashier also messed up our change and instead of getting a manger or reopening her drawer, she told us she'd get it to us the next time she opened her drawer. Well that didn't happen because everyone else paid with cards during the time we were there. So we ultimately were shorted our change, just a handful of coins thankfully otherwise we would've been more vocal about it. If you go here, you may want to go around the drive thru. The dine-in experience is horrible. They have no separate 'order' and 'pickup' area. People are crowded around the registers and it seems like by the time you get your food, it is breathed on, talked over, and simply unclean. 1.4.13 Every year when I come to Manning I am reminded why I dislike this Wendy's. You know the brain has a way of protecting a person from trauma. The food is hit or miss, especially the salads. Service is spotty at best-I always use drive-through. They always take the order, instruct you to pull to the first window, and there is no one at the window. I naturally pull through to the second window after briefly waiting to see if anyone comes to window1. When they get to window2, taking their sweet Manning time, they ask me to back up to window1. I have worked in fast-food before, and when the person responsible for window1 was derelict they would walk their happy butts to window2 to collect the money. The customer was not inconvenienced. To make matters worse the food quality is horrible with the exception of the baked potato. Lettuce was old and the #7 sandwich tasted like it had sat in oil (looked like it too). Trash and bits of food on floor, watched employee walking around dining area and passed the trash. She did pick up a few bits of trash under a couple of tables, left several without wiping them down.
