Ordered some of my regular order items on a trip up from FL back to VA and their cantina chicken burrito gave me the worst (and only) case of food poisoning I've ever had. After eating and driving through the night, I lasted about 7 hours before I vomited and diarrhea-ed uncontrollably in a public restroom because I could not last another 20 minutes before arriving home to vomit and diarrhea comfortably in my own house. I've had my local Taco Bells several times since then and have not had any issues. Please be mindful of any uncooked food products they may be putting out without realizing it. read more

Returning from a trip to pick up my daughter and she has starved herself until 9pm at night so we swing off Exit 98 off I95 and pick from the plethora of fast food. Now normally I always steer clear of Taco Bell as it isn't traveling food on my stomach. But I let her choose and she will always say Taco Bell. They were out of the double chalupa shells so I was offered two regulars in exchange and even though I knew I couldn't eat both I was at least glad to have been offered. The cashier was on point and even reminded me that a drink already came with my meal as I ordered it first. While I'm still not thrilled to be riding another 50 minutes with Taco Bell stomach, I was impressed with the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. If in town, give it a go! read more

Sadly we come here often as if we somehow expect the quality to change but when you live in the middle of nowhere your options are limited. If they aren't out of literally everything, the orders wrong and if by some miracle those two things don't happen, the foods subpar at best. If there was a taco hell for Taco Bell, this would be it. Now, you have to understand that my sister and I are frequent flyers at Taco Bell, and are no strangers to a not-so-occasional Chalupa Cravings Box. I love the company as a whole, but this experience may drive me away. Stopping at this Taco Bell for a hot lunch sounded delicious during our long drive, and seemed time-efficient to keep our destination within reach. After all, it must be called fast food for a reason. Oh ho ho not so fast. After ordering two chalupa boxes and two bean burritos, we expected our wait time to be consistent with our average experience. After all, it's not a very complicated order. Keep in mind we were the only people in the entire store. After the first 15 minutes, the thought of "what if they didn't get our order" was squashed again by being reminded that WE WERE THE ONLY ONES ON THE TICKET. Have you ever waited for hot tacos for 20 minutes? Well I have. And obviously the lady who eventually came in later has too as she commented "Oh, this happens all the time. I guess they are making everything on the menu." After reminding an employee that we actually needed cups for drinks and a bag to hold things in, we were finally on our way to enjoy the food we ordered--- PSYCH!! It wasn't. She was at our car window arguing with us very rudely. Cinnamon twists were hard and brittle. Burrito should have been beans and sour cream only. Less than 2 tablespoons of beans ! Half a teaspoon of sour cream. The Nachos Bel Grande beans were plopped on the side from a scoop - not spread over the chips. Chips were about half of the normal order. Took pictures of all. I love the Taco Bell in Santee and have been going there since they opened. First of all, they have my diet Baja Blast which is amazing. Everything I've gotten there tastes great and the employees have always been fast and friendly. I saw some bad remarks about the online ordering process but have never tried it there. Went to this Taco Bell on May 7, 2017 to get breakfast. Pulled to drive thru waited 5 minutes and no one asked for my order, drove to window and waited 3 minutes and then blew my horn. Finally the lady comes to the window and I said I would like 2 breakfast burittos. She then informs me that they are out of eggs. Mind you, this was 07:15 am in the morning.
