I really like Zaxby's and was having a craving. I ordered online and specified 12:30 as my time. I arrived about 12:25. I pulled into a spot for online pickup and called the number. It rang about 10 times and asked me to leave a message. I did. And waited. I saw a lot of order going to cars, so I just waited. I called again, and it went to messages again. Then the person serving cars came and asked me about my order. She said she'd bring it. I waited. By this time it's 12:40. I noticed people who got there after I did getting their food. So I tried calling again. It rang about 6 times. I hung up but this time they called me back. I a minute I had my order. The person who brought it, not the same person as before, said "she" thought it was an Uber order waiting for pick up. So, I got my food at 12:49. By the time I got home, we had to heat it in the oven to get it hot and crispy. It was good, but the whole online pick up was a bad experience. Yes, they were swamped. The servers were trying, but seems that managers should have been more helpful. If I ever try it again, and have the same experience, my rating will be lower. read more

The worst fast food experience I've had. We ordered at the drive-through and when we got the food and parked on the Zaxbys lot to eat it, the wings and the fries were as cold as if they were in the refrigerator. I took the food into the restaurant and asked for a manager. A woman standing in front of the cook's window says, "I'm the manager", at first I didn't believe her because she was wearing sweatpants and had one leg pulled up to her knee so that you could see the large colorful tattoo on her calf. I told her the food temperature was cold as though it came out of the refrigerator. She actually said, I'm very busy and I don't have time to check the temperature of the food. I asked her for the corporate phone number, she said "you'll just get me". I asked her if this Zaxby's is a franchise or corporate store she said "franchise". I said then there's a corporate store over you right? She said no just her. She said that she is the manager and the general manager there's no one higher. So I said to her "there's no one higher than you that I could talk to about my experience, just you than God?" She said that's right me then God. I asked for a refund instead of having the food replaced because at this point I was concerned about what might be done to it after all of this dialogue. She gave me my refund and I stood outside the door for awhile and warned walk in customers to check the temperature of their food before they leave. I've been to this location a few times. The wait is usually a little longer than most fast food restaurants but I was blown away tonight when I walked in and found out it would be a 30 minute wait. Excuse me what?! And that was after standing in line and overhearing the cashier tell the customer in front of me. All bad. The line at the drive thru was crazy long and that's what prompted me to go inside to begin with. But at least have a sign on the door before people step foot inside and wait in line. Firstly when I asked for a basket of fries with a cut up filet on top one of the managers kept going off how it's not allowed and would not do it. She was obnoxiously rude and when I asked for extra sauce she wouldn't give me any. The chicken was breaded terribly and the fries had a lack of seasoning. Floors had trash all over and gum stuck to the floor. I would never eat here even if I was hungry. There is something about the taste of Zaxby's chicken breading and their "Zak" sauce that keeps me coming back. This is a great place for a lunch, or a light dinner. My wife and I split the large platter which comes with 7 chicken tenders, lots of seasoned crinkle cut fries, two pieces of toast, and coleslaw. I'm not sure how anyone eats this by themselves, but it is a perfect portion for the two of us. The large plus two drinks comes to $11 which makes this a great value. The service is above average for the fast food industry, and the inside is always clean. read more

I've never been through the drive thru so I can't comment on that, but it's always good when we eat in. Yesterday I had them cater my son's birthday party and ordered the wings, fingers, and nibblers for 18 (it could have fed 20 easily). They cooked it fresh and everything was delicious. Everyone was so happy to see zaxby's instead of my cooking. I did not say I liked everyone at the party. Anyway, there was plenty of food for everyone and still left overs. The pieces of chicken are large and the nibblers (small chicken sandwiches) were very filling. Everything plus 2 dozen cookies was less than $100. I will use them again! read more

Love zaxbys and come to this location a lot. This is the first time I've been here and it's been semi busy. Probably 5 customers inside eating and 5 cars in the drive thru. Took about 20 minutes for me to get to the front of the five person line and then was told it would be a 30 minute wait for my food. Drink cup was crushed on the bottom and had to ask for another. Sweet tea was out in the front and had to ask for it behind the counter. Most other drinks were out in the fountain as well. I've seen this location do better.
