Food is good, service is ok, atmosphere is ok....tea is good, prices..so so Have never been that the floors are not greasy. This is a hazard, especially to anyone disabled. This Zaxby is a great location. They are always friendly and quick. The only time I had to wait for longer than I should, the cashier gave me a drink on the house. That is customer service right there. I must admit I am a Fried Chicken Zensation Zalad addict. I love those things. The chicken tacos are good too, I like the Kick'n Chicken Sandwich too. My husband and I paid $28 for 2 salads with Xtra dressing. Ordered grilled chicken but due to party going on inside the restaurant they couldn't hear so we Ordered twice. Last night my husband and I went to Zaxby's for grilled chicken salads but when we got home Rohn didn't have lettuce and basically his salad is what I would have fed our 3 yr old granddaughter. He weighs 100 lbs more so we traded salads and he ate 2 egg rolls. I thought I would handle this differently than when Wendy's charged me on my card for other ppl's food bc their card was declined. I notified bank but felt Zaxby's might want to preserve business as we're there weekly. The manager didn't seem at all surprised and I explained that I didn't want to blast her on Yelp to which she was salty and added they'd give us 10% off our next salad to which I replied but you served 25% of a salad. It seems we'll go to Boaz, Albertville or Oxford when we're at Sam's. I explained that this would not be an issue in the future. We'll skip it but Wendy's manager called twice to make sure they refunded my money. She's from Anniston and wasn't even there when this happened but they handled with class. I wasn't wanting a refund or a free meal, but when a customer who spends what we do has an issue apologize for the error and offer to fix. I'm not driving back and I wasn't after anything more than what I paid for. My suggestion eat inside or open your salad before you pull forward. read more

This restaurant is okay at most. The food is pretty greasy like other reviews mention, but I don't think it's too bad. I like that there is a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine with an exclusive Minute Maid "Southern Peach Fizzle" flavor. When I came in tonight, I had the "Wings and things" meal, a combination of 5 wings, 3 chicken tenders, fries, and a piece of Texas toast, plus some celery. I selected teriyaki for my wing flavor and it was delicious; probably some of the best teriyaki sauce I've had on something in a while. The chicken fingers were also satisfactory. Good size for the chicken fingers and good portions all around. The fries were okay, but not great. The Texas toast was wet with garlic, but I like it like that. Get ready for greasy and sticky fingers! My only complaint about this place is that each time I've eaten in here over the past 4-5 years, the cashiers always seem like they're out of it or something. They always have to get the manager to answer my questions about something about the menu and it's become a bit of an annoyance... "Decent" would be the best word to describe this place, its atmosphere, and its food, with the exception of the teriyaki sauce which I ended up dipping everything in. The only salad they had that wasn't slimy and tasted pre-made days ago they got rid of! Everything is fried! And the bread is butter soaked enough to keep heart doctors working. I think the thing that annoys me the most about Zaxbys is the fact that they charge you for each extra dipping sauce! Seriously? So this review is strictly based on the drive through experience and nothing more. Ok, so here's the thing, we pulled in through the drive through and rolled the window down and looked over the menu. After we found what we wanted and waited a little longer, we started trying to get somebody to respond to us. Just about the time we were about to drive away we were greeted with a very discouraged voice telling us they were having issues inside and we'd need to wait 10 or 15 minutes to see if they'd be able to take our order and help us. Way too long spent in the line for that. They should have been notifying people that they were having issues so that they didn't waste time in the line for nothing. Well my sin was driving through the drive thru at Zaxbys. I never go there. It's tucked in a hidden valley and on the wrong side of the road. But I wanted wings. Figured they had em. Immediately when I opened my mouth the lady paused and the war that I didn't want to be in began. I said does that salad come w a special dressing. PAUSE THAT DOES NOT COMPUTE. EM WHAT!! The food here is the same as every other Zaxby's I have been to. It is always good. I have never been to a bad Zaxby's as far as food is concerned. The problem here is all of the other things. They were completely out of all diet sodas today. How can that happen to a fast food place? There were flies in the restaurant. The workers have no sense of working cheerfully. Probably the worst service I've ever received. My dad and I are vegetarians, so we asked for no bacon or chicken on our salads. We almost started to eat our salads and they had chicken on them. So we took them back, no big deal. The employees took it to the back and we assumed they were making us new salads. We brought them back to the table and almost ate them again, when we noticed there was STILL chicken on them. So we took them back again. 20 minutes after we ordered our food, we were finally eating.
