Place sucks. Been here a handful of times over the past year, always very skimpy in the kitchen. Fries cold more often than not. On one occasion my 4 nibblerz were completely cold, as if they hadn't even been put in the microwave. There was actually a time I came inside the store, and the woman in front of me had about $2.25 left on her gift card & wanted to use it for my meal, and the front counter guy actually wouldn't let her?! Like most Zaxby's though, hit or miss, brand has sucked as a whole for awhile now, since they took the milkshakes away & did something to the ingredients. Just picked up a Togo order and the food seems not fresh. The tossed chicken tenders have hardly any sauce covering them and majority of the French fries are flimsy. The service was decent and quick. Been here quite a few times in the past 6 years that I've lived right down the road. Some good experiences, some sub-par. I most always get the chicken finger plate with BBQ sauce instead of Zax sauce and extra fries instead of coleslaw with extra seasoning on the fries. This has been my order for years. Came here the other night and they charged me 25 cents for barbecue sauce, were VERY skimpy with the fries, it didn't even look like a single serving of fries (if I wanted a single serving I would've ordered one!!), and gave me a cup of seasoning on the side and none on my fries?? Do they think I have the ability to toss my fries in the seasoning before I eat them in my car? I am in the service industry and would not treat people how they treated me when I asked why I was charged for an extra sauce when I've been exchanging it freely for zax sauce for years. Be Warned. I went to Zaxby's today and they messed up my order. Called them and they said come back out to pick up the correct order. During a pandemic they asked for the wings back that I ordered earlier. I have them, but I am not eating at a restaurant that they are having customers return food. Think about that I took the food to my home and during a Pandemic they want it back into the restaurant. I spent over 40 dollars and they are so concerned thinking someone is trying to beat them out of 10 wings that they risk the health of everyone that will eat there. I am not sick, but they do not know who might be. So if that is their policy to take food back into the restaurant that has been in someone's home. They have lost a customer. I will not make a third trip to Zaxby's tomorrow for a refund. I will just take it as a loss. I have had several wrong orders in the past from this store and I just let it go. This was the last time. It is truly maddening for a company to mess up and treat you like a thief. Every time I go back this place it gets worse. My last sandwich had an abundance of sauce and it appeared they microwaved it because the lettuce was hot and wilted. Ended up tossing the sandwich in the trash after a few bites. That bring said I like the crinkle fries. read more

I was there and went through the drive through on 09/24/19 and this wonderful employee was there to greet me and just so happy to be there, I had been having a rough day... just had a baby 4 weeks ago and we were in and out of errands all day, dealing with all sorts of rude people, and I was so hungry and stopped by with barely enough time to grab some food and Ahjane(I think that's her name) went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and just had the best attitude. First of all, the drive thru was super slow and there were only about 3 cars in front of me. It was 11:15am on a rainy Monday. I ordered a salad and then headed to a nearby dealership for an oil change. When I settled in and got my salad out, I had NO silverware and NO napkins! Wow.... A place that prides itself on serving chicken however, you forget to put the chicken in a kiddie finger meal. It would have been nice it the person who checked the order before giving it to me in the drive through window would have done there job and actually checked to be sure it was correct instead of just acting like you checked it. I would have gone back up there to have it corrected, but after a 30 min drive to get home only to find out it was wrong kind of stinks. This particular Zaxby's is not a favorite. We ordered our food and went to get our drinks. The ice machine was broken and ice came pouring out on me and the floor, which could cause a slippery hazard. Our food was ready in a timely manner. The cook left off the slaw and he also left off the Texas toast off my inlaws salads. The chicken was not great, but not bad. The fries were luke-warm and tasted like they had been fried in old grease. The dining room was clean and the bathroom was tidy. The lady at the cash register taking orders (white lady with long blonde hair - cashier at 3:15 pm on MLK day Monday - didn't see a name tag). As I approached the cash register, I stood there waiting on her to look up from her cell phone. She was on her cell phone in plain sight, while a customer (me) waited on her to finish. As I waited, I noticed another worker (drive thru white girl with brown hair) on her cell phone too. As a restaurant business owner who had strict policies on cell phone usage at work for my own employees, I was curious and asked the blonde lady "do your managers not care that y'all are on your cell phones at work?" No attitude, I swear. Just a simple question. To which she replied "I'm texting my kid who is out of school today (MLK day). There is a company policy against cell phones at work but I don't care. If my kid texts me, I'm going to text back. They can fire me." I am in awe. Just utter shocked that she would say that to a customer. No "oh sorry about that" or any remorse. But instead very defensive and seemed very pissed that I had the audacity to ask the question. I went to go sit down and wait for my order. I waited a while for them to call my number (like they usually do when an order is ready) And after about 10 mins, I got out of my seat and walked up to the counter where I saw my food just sitting there for lord knows how long. She didn't call my number to let me know to come get my food (no doubt because she was pissed at me and likely was telling all her coworkers what a "bitch" I was based on the evil looks I kept getting from her *rolls eyes*) My chicken wasn't even warm anymore :( I'm very irritated at how I was treated by this lady. And for that, I hope someone talks with her or does some re-training her on customer service and cell phone usage at work. read more

Dear Zaxby's in Franklin, TN on Murfreesboro Rd, I'd like to take a moment to thank you for the worst, most unappetizing lunch to which I've ever had the non-pleasure of not enjoying. The "meal" was accompanied by several of the amenities you offer at this location, like the 10 minute wait to get my order (even though it was a "salad" and there was nothing for you to cook), the warm way your employees couldn't care less about the horrible service they're certainly aware that they are providing and most of all the opportunity i had to make new friends as we swapped our incorrect orders in the parking lot. I especially like the way you took the extra effort to swap the bleu cheese dressing i requested with a "Chef's Choice" of your own, Lite Vinaigrette, arguably the worst dressing on offer and particularly disgusting on a Blackened Bleu salad. I was further delighted to discover your special salad recipe included about 1/3 of that non-leafy, crunchy, inedible iceberg core rather than actual lettuce that a human person would prefer to eat. However, I did have the opportunity to ponder, "what tastes like dirt?" as I was eating the salad. Probably just a worm, insect or actual...dirt. I hope all that read this review take note of your inattention to detail and and lack of concern for presenting a quality product when making their future lunch decisions. P.S. I was excited about this opening because I have never been to ANY Zayby's before. I went through drive through & ordered 10 bone in chicken wings with a sauce, it came with celery & ranch dressing. I was so disappointed. When I opened the box there were the hot wings & under them was the celery and even the dipping sauce. The celery was covered with the sauce & was now hot. The dipping sauce was covered by the sauce of the wings. I came home, rinsed off my Celery & dipping sauce in order to eat them. I had planned on having a picnic outside but instead I had to go home to deal with this. There was no way I could eat this and not make a huge mess all over & who really wants hot celery. I had also ordered a salad & it was good but the chicken tasted like it had been around for awhile. Not fresh at all. I won't be going back. read more

ate there with 5 of us- terrible in every regard. boneless chicken wings were greasy deep fried dough balls. onion rings: cold, dry, no onion to speak of. three had the big cobb salad: they liked the small portion veggie part but the chicken was inedible. two of us with grilled chicken sandwich were okay with it. had to go to the counter three times to ask for the milk shake i paid for the first time up. the shift leader 'Shawanna' (sp?) was surly, unfriendly and not helpful. others just went through the motions of helping, but did little to get our orders. for almost $60 i'll enjoy a lame macdonalds next time- you'll get better food and better service. read more
