Purchased a Cobb Salad there yesterday (Sat. 2-3PM) and it was the worst salad I have ever had. Warm, some brown lettuce and chicken or something was BAD. Made me sick and the dog from eating a very small piece of the chicken finger. Weekends at that location are definitely questionable. read more

I love Zaxbys and wish there were some in Ohio or Northern KY. Since it isn't, I have to enjoy when I go south. I went to this location and was just happy to go through the drive thru. It didn't take long to place my order. I got the fried house salad with Caesar lettuce and no tomatoes with ranch. I also ordered a kids finger with sweet tea. It wasn't a long line. When I got the salad I had to request more cheese and fries onions. That led me to not checking the fries. When I pulled off, I realized they were not hot but I didn't go back. The salad was really good. I enjoyed every taste of it. I really believe they have the best salads for a restaurant. I heated up the fries (which I hate doing). I got extra seasoning so they weren't horrible. I just love those fresh, hot crinkle fries. Overall, not a bad experience. The young woman did seem shocked that I asked for more onions and cheese. I didn't want to send the entire salad back so just asked that she put it in a container. Food was good and if in town I would go back. I will just check all my food before pulling out. read more

I tried Zaxby's for the first time, some five years after moving to Atlanta. I'd been told it wasn't worth bothering, but I figured I'd try it once. Suffice to say, I was told correctly. Before going through the drive thru, I checked online to see what people thought their best options were. The signature sandwich topped the list, so I got that combo, and bought up to a "special" peach tea for my drink. The sandwich didn't compare well to Chik Fil A or Popeyes. It was relatively bland, yet my hand wound up covered in the sauce, because it didn't come individually wrapped. The fries? Crinkle cut - the second worst type of fry (after steak), and with no seasoning, or even salt. Decent crisp, I suppose, for a crinkle cut, but deeply meh. The peach tea that they hyped up on their signs outside? I saw them refilling the tea canister from a *bag* and then the special peach-ness of the tea, which was seemingly fresh brewed from the signs, and seemingly fresh peaches, as well, came from the equivalent of a ketchup squeeze bottle of syrup. That alone is deceptive, and frankly kind of foul. The tea itself was disgusting, far too sweet, even for sweet tea. I usually reserve 1 stars for, like, fraud, or food poisoning, but this was one of the least pleasant fast food experiences I've had other than, like, QT pizza, and that's something that came with lower expectations. read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving this 2 STARS is because the food is actually good. Other than that, it would be a 1 STAR review. Unfortunately, this is my neighborhood Zaxby's, so if I'm ever craving it, I have to come here. The Food: The food is always pretty good here and whether Drive-thru or walk-in, they're usually pretty fast. Most of the time when I visit Zaxby's, I order the Zaxby's Club Sandwich meal ($7.89). This sandwich is like a BLT with Zaxby's chicken tenders, mayo, & cheese between Texas toast. Basically, heaven in your mouth. The bacon with the chicken tenders is a DEADLY combination. This meal also comes with their delicious crinkle fries and a drink. This time around, the sandwich pissed me off, because it had shredded lettuce. When did this happen? If I wanted shredded lettuce, I would've saved money and got a McChicken from McDonald's. The Service: The service is what makes the review so low. They just really don't seem to care whatsoever about manners. One time, I wanted to order over the phone and they told me they can't take orders over the phone and that I'd have to either order online or come in to the restaurant. I found that odd, because on they website for their store location, when you click order, it gives you the option to call. The next time happened today! I had a $25 gift card for Zaxby's. I told the lady before my order that I previously had issues when they said my card had no money on it, but as I checked it after, there was a balance of $25. I made my order and she tried sliding the gift card....nothing. After trying to slide several times, she mentioned it to someone and they told her to type the numbers in. She tried some numbers twice.....STILL nothing. Now, she goes to get a manager, who I was sure going to handle this. She gets to me and tries to slide the card herself and tells me, "I'm sorry. There's nothing we can do. Your gift card isn't reading." I asked her what am I supposed to do then, and she simple replied, "I don't know." I told her this was unacceptable was she is a representative of Zaxby's and "I don't know" isn't okay. I proceeded to pull out my phone, went to the Zaxby's Gift Card Balance Checker, typed in the number and showed her the $25 balance on the gift card. She then tried the number that I typed in.....it WORKED. Finally! She continuously apologized, but at that point, she had pissed me off. She was so quick to brush me away even though the issue wasn't me. It's their janky gift cards. Overall, even though the food is good, the service SUCKS. I'm going to try and find a different location moving forward. read more

I visited yesterday and ordered through the drive through. I placed 2 orders of a cod salad and boneless wing meal. When I got to the window the worker repeated exactly what I ordered but only provide me with 1 sprite instead of two since I ordered two meals. Upon receiving my receipt the worker only rang up 1 order of each and made me pay again for the extra sprite and boneless wing meal. The worker told me to pull up and someone will bring out my food. When the food was brought out it was only 1 boneless wing meal with no salad nor the other boneless wing meal I paid for. When I told the guy where the rest of the food is he looked at me like I was crazy and it took three times for them to come out to get my other together. I still ended up leaving with out an additional Cobb salad and they didn't put any dressing in the bag. I am solely upset at my experience here read more

I love getting my salads from here, they're always so fresh and delicious, the tomatoes are usually not that great but I'm pretty picky about tomatoes so I don't fault them for that. The portion size is great and perfect for me. I'm disappointed they discontinued the Chicken Caesar salad because it was my favorite but my new current favorite is the Cobb salad, yummy!!! Also I need to mention the Fried Mushrooms are so freaking awesome, cut to the right size and always hot!! Last but not least I want to compliment the staff and managers of this location, they are all very friendly and nice, making this my very favorite place to pick up dinner when I don't want to cook!! read more

Love Zaxby's wings and things (5 pieces of wings which you choose the flavor from BBQ, sweet and spicy, honey mustard, mild, medium, hot and traditional or boneless, 3 chicken fingers, fries, celery, and a toast.) toast is delicious in that buttery spread. Wings and chicken fingers were decent. I don't like the zaxby sauce so I always ask for honey mustard and ranch. I love their ice. They're tiny crunchy bites ice. It makes my drinks tastier. They also have the Coke fountain with many flavors. Cashier was friendly and funny. Great location! read more

i went through the drive through and first of all i had to wait 15 minutes to get my food. then when i got home i realized there was no sauce!!! i paid for sauces and i didn't get a single one! zaxby's is nothing without the sauce! our server was joslyn but idk who's packing the food, but someone in there needs to get themselves together. read more

Food is always as ordered, they are fast and nice at the window. They even say thank you, unlike the big fast food chains that say nothing.

Came to the drive thru, starving, I was just trying to get some delish sandwich (Zaxby's club) but the intercom lady wouldn't even ask me what I wanted, no greeting, nothing. Eventually when she decided to rudely take my order she would come on and off, wasn't even listening, coming on the intercom laughing like my order is not important, remember I was starving. I decided to pull to the window and finish my order because it was impossible to finish. Then she had the audacity to forget ketchup, how is one supposed to eat the fries? This location is pretty good; it's my go-to place for lunch in this area. The staff are always friendly, and the lines are usually manageable, even during the lunch rush. I highly recommend the hot honey mustard sauce and the tongue-torch if you get wings, and you really can't go wrong with the salads. Unfortunately, the prices are a few cents higher here, and the traffic is a major pain by that I-285 intersection. I'll be switching to the Northcrest and Chamblee Tucker location once it opens to avoid the traffic. read more

If you join their email club online you will get a free birthday chicken nibblerz- it's kinda small compared to most restaurant birthday Freebies, but you also get a free chicken sandwich meal coupon mailed to you as soon as you sign up. I've only been here twice but tonight's visit was just a plain one. Unplanned actually. The only thing bad to me is they don't give you 2 Zax sauces free anymore and they wouldn't trade a sauce for something else you get by mistake and you ended up paying for it to begin with. Shouldn't you get what you paid for? Also I always leave the cole slaw off and get extra fries or a chicken finger when I ask for it. Tonight I received nothing extra.
