The sandwich is slightly larger than Chick-fil-a and it's neat that they have a lot of different flavors you can try. I got the garlic parmasean and the wife got the Louisiana rub. The flavors were ok. The sandwich was slightly larger than Chick-fil-a but the meat was smashed thinner. My wife liked the crispiness and I liked that the bread wasn't soggy. The chicken itself was not as juicy though. My problem with this place was that the order said it was ready 18-22 min. I show up 30 min later. It took another ~10 min to get our food. I get that you can't beat Chik-fil-a's efficiency. The sandwich is $1 more than Chick-fil-a. Is it better? Meh. Would I come here again? Not unless there's a deal. read more

WingStop in Doraville was terrible we got a twenty piece lemon pepper and Louisiana rub. When we opened them they were a little saucy but upon further inspection, the consistency of the sauce was that of mayonnaise. After biting into one, my partner spit it out and was disgusted. I ate two in hopes that they gave us mistakingly wet for dry wings. I was sadly wrong. They had buttery but unflavored taste and left an awful sour aftertaste in my mouth. We called the restaurant and they agreed to replace them, but we had to go pick them up, causing extra inconvenience and an unnecessary trip out of the way. I was at the Buford, Ga location on 11/18/2022 during the lunch hour rush. I witnessed a young lady name Annette managing and operating Wingstop restaurant alone with no other employee to help or assist. She prepared every order and managed the front counter and acknowledged every customer who entered the restaurant. Amazingly she served and prepared every meal alone and did not complain. This score is based solely off of the cleanliness of the inside. Normally I won't complain too much if it's busy but when we got here there was only one person sitting down and eating and no one in line to order. The tables weren't filthy but could definitely be wiped down with some bleach/cleaner. The floor needs to be swept and mopped (you will see from the pictures). The Coke remix machine was filthy and wouldn't recognize my touch. I had to use a napkin to use the touchscreen. The mat in front of it was worse, I can't imagine what it would look like if it wasn't black. It felt wet and my shoes were sticking to it. As I'm walking out the door I can hear and feel my shoes sticking to the floor. Some could say they were understaffed (2 employees) but it was not busy at all. Worst service ever! I waited over an hour for a 20 piece wing. They have this older man frying the food, messing up everybody's orders and i notice he was not wearing any gloves. Football season is back and I was craving wings. I ordered online and came to pick up. My order was being bagged up as I came in. Inside looked clean and wasn't too busy. The staff was quite friendly too. I got the mango habanero and spicy korean boneless wings. A big plus is that they separate the flavors so you don't have to worry about the sauces mixing. The wings were really flavorful and perfectly spicy (I like spice but not to the point I can't eat it. I found these to be the perfect balance). They were a bit salty, but it didn't ruin the meal for me. The fries were seasoned really well with a hint of sweetness. There may be better wings in the area, but for ease of ordering, pick up speed, and convenience I give this place a solid 4-stars. read more

Loved their wings. Everything in Doraville shuts down it seems so there is no place to go but instead of having to settle for the awful Waffle House, you got a lively place to go which is here. They were showing the world series when i was there but sound was down. The employees were civil. The celery and carrots weren't as good as Buffalo's in Loganville. They have lots of sauces to chose from that made me nervous being I just like traditional hot sauce but I figured it out and told the lady what I wanted and she said I choose right and she was correct. I love garlic so I ordered so garlic wings. Garlic wings- yuck. They have Hawaiian and teriyaki, and lots of other sauces i don't remember. The menu is a little intimidating so just tell them what u want. So every night when I'm out late in Doraville and have nothing to eat- I'll be there. They are open till midnight! I felt that it needed more sauce or stronger flavor. Fries were soft and kinda burnt. Their wings might be freshly cooked but I doubt the fries were. It was soggy. It had good flavor to it. I think it might have been seasoned with smg cause I tasted sweet and saltiness. It was confirmed when I felt really thirsty afterwards. Overall, I give it 2.5 stars. It's just average for me. What a weird experience I had here. We placed an order sometime after 10:30 pm online. It said they were open so we figured it was ok to order. I get there and there's a strange guy parked in front of the store revving his engine/ he had just walked out I assumed it was just a customer. I look at the restaurant and the lights are all off except the kitchen and the open sign has been shut off. It's 11:20 pm at this point and they're still supposed to be open for 40 mins. Has potential but my first visit wasn't spectacular. The boneless wings were good, I selected a sauce a bit on the hot side (my fault) but the fries were obviously fresh cut, however severely undercooked. It look a bit longer than I'd have liked to get the order so I didn't bother trying to fix it. The dining room could use a bit more attention as well. I've been here too many times and the quality of service has become worse over time enough that I can't even bother to order anymore. Wingstop is a typical wing/fries restaurant that also serves bottled beer. Their wings are great, they have typical flavors like Hot, a too hot to eat but you eat anyways hot, lemon pepper, and occasionally a seasonal flavor like Serrano peppers etc. This is a busy location, in fact so busy you will be surprised if you call in an order and it is still not ready an hour later. But wait, what about online ordering? Nope, sometimes the orders aren't even looked at until you get there. This place is like me and my ex girlfriends. The BF and I have been on quite a wing kick lately - just cause we haven't had a good batch in such a long time, and if you've read my last few reviews, Wings 101 was a bust. I can say that I do think this place is a lot better. We both ordered the 'Classic Wing' combo (6 pc wings - 2 flavors, 1 dipping sauce - $0.75 for any extra, a side - potato salad, fries, or baked beans, and a drink); all for $7.99 (plus tax) - helluva bargain! Now, there's one thing about Wing Stop they want people to know - their wings are made fresh to order, no heat lamps, no nothing! It could be their slogan, it's plastered all over the walls, napkins, tissue paper, all over the restaurant. With it being "made fresh to order", it takes the wings at least 15 minutes to be ready. You're in for quite a wait if you don't call ahead, which to their defense, they do encourage. About 20 minutes later, our food came, looking delicious. All together I got to try four different flavors (Mango Habanero, BBQ, Lemon Pepper, and the Hawaiian). Overall, they were okay, I like my wings with a bit of a crisp, and these wings seemed a bit under cooked. As for the flavors, the BBQ and Lemon Pepper rang true, the Mango Habanero was much too spicy for me to taste anything else, and the Hawaiian was flavorless with a hint of sweetness - if that makes any sense. The potato salad was bad, just bad, get the fries instead if you have the option. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was nice and clean - but I'm still on the hunt for some kick @$$ wings. read more

A few years ago there was a Wing Stop near my house but it closed. As such, I was happy to hear of the opening of a new location in Doraville within reasonable driving distance. The new restaurant is located on Buford HWY perhaps two miles South of 285. The interior looks nearly the same as any other Wing Stop I've ever been, though a bit larger. The quality of the food was just as good as any of the other franchises, too. In other words, it's quite good - definitely and noticeably superior to the run-of-the-mill chicken wings one would get at most restaurants. There are about ten flavors of available - of these I have tried "Hot" - a good, somewhat thick buffalo style sauce, Garlic Parmesan - my second favorite and self-explanatory, "Louisiana Rub" - a dry rubbed, Cajun type seasoning that which I was somewhat disappointed in as it lacked kick, "Atomic" - a thick sauce which was almost too hot for me to eat and "Hickory BBQ" - which was rather mild, somewhat sweet and unremarkable. One of my favorite things about Wing Stop are the fries and dressing. I wouldn't go so far as to say the fries are 5 Guys quality, but they do hold a close second place. They seem to be sprinkled with Parmesan, maybe even a bit of sugar, too. There's a slight hint of sweetness without it overwhelming the salty deliciousness most expect and desire from their fries. The Ranch and Blue Cheese dressings are both excellent, which are made in store and thicker and more flavorful than the sometimes bland variety you'll find in other restaurants or the grocery store. This location did commit a serious infraction worthy or a full star deduction. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was blaring horrible, horrific rap music. And I do mean it was loud - loud as in decibel level one would expect to hear at a bar. Don't get me wrong; it's not as if I categorically hate rap - I like Snoop, Dre, Tupac, Sugar Hill Gang and A Tribe Called Quest as much as the next guy, but this was just god awful. It's bad enough such that I'll definitely eat here again but take the food to my car. I'll be charitable and not ding that star, though. The food is solidly four stars for what it is. The pricing is on the upper-end of moderate. A good combo meal with enough food to satisfy will run about $9 or so. It's definitely worth it, though. Pros: Really good chicken, sauces and fries. Cons: HORRIBLE and LOUD rap music blaring across the restaurant. Verdict: Recommended. read more
