Our order took a lil longer for some odd reason , got our food , they had given us 5 xtra wings for the long wait . The chicken strips are pretty good , the hot wings are mediocre. Love the crinkly fries. We had ordered a order of onion rings , right as we are finishing the III. Rings we found a fly that had been cooked in with the onion rings . Brought this up to the female manger named Sara , she expressed how sorry she was . And that they would gladly give us a free order of onion rings . I'm sorry , but you can keep your Orion rings . I honestly think I come here because it's close to where I live but I've had so many issues constantly and I keep hoping the next time will be better. Tonight I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Guy said it would be 6mins for the chicken so I said I'll get a regular chicken sandwich with no sauce or anything. Easy enough, right? Pulled up to the window and they were out of buns. They asked if toast was fine so I said sure that's fine. Then they said there would be a wait cause the guy messed up my sandwich and it would only be two minutes. Not a great experience. Ordered four kickin chicken combos. Got four drinks, three sandwiches. Four drinks in a carrier? Don't try it. Either the carrier is jacked up or the drink cups were too tall. One fell out as they were handing it me. The replacement felt out in my car when I tried to get out of car at home. Maybe if this COVID-19 thing turns down I'll try again in the in restaurant dining area. But the drive thru gets bad review. We are big zaxbys fans even when we used to live in Charleston, SC. We use to drive to San Marcos to treat ourselves for some Zaxbys. Well Now we have one in Cibolo. I don't need to drive far. We ordered different items on the menu. I do love the chicken strips and fries. I always ask for ranch instead of the Zax sauce. The salads are always amazing. I find the $5.99 menu of their 5 flavorful favorites a great starter if your a first timer at zaxbys. Stars 1 star for service 1 star for facilities 1 star for food 1 star for overall experience 0 start for restrooms. I think the staff needs to come and check it more often than they do. read more

Online deliver. Received my order but was missing 2 items. I called the store and a female worker answered and I explained the issue. She tells her manager, Mark, who was nearby. She would ask me a question and I would give her an answer and she relays it back to him. First off it's unprofessional to do the back and forth with a worker when I should be speaking directly to the Manager about an issue. Second, in order for me to get a refund or get a whole new order made, I would have to come to the store and show my receipt. There was a reason why I had it delivered so why would I go up there to get a refund or food?! If I was rating this particular location on food, it would be a 4 or 5, but unfortunately, after at least 4 times of not getting all of my food when I ordered through door dash, I'm beyond annoyed. I do know that sometimes it could be a dishonest driver taking food, or that they also have a bit of responsibility (maybe at least counting boxes & comparing to the order), but a couple of times we just happened to get a driver that we know, who is a neighbor when it happened. This used to be my favorite Fast Food chicken spot since it opened but today I have made the decision to possibly never eat there again. I am not sure if there is new management or what but this is terrible service. I did a mobile order for a 4 finger plate, with onion rings for LUNCH. I ordered at 11:26AM which should mean the food should be pretty fresh, hot and look good. Unfortunately, my order, which I picked up at 11:40AM, was nothing like that. The chicken fingers were small, barely warm and the onion rings were cold, hard, greasy and looked like they had been sitting all morning. Back in the day when it first opened, the food would be blazing hot even if you ordered and took it home. Portion sizes looked appealing as well...this is definitely not what I had hoped for when I returned to what used to be one of my favorite fast food chicken spots. It hasn't ever been quality service at this location but it's convenient but tonight was the last night. There is no way customers have to wait as long as we do in the line. It's a guarantee that when you get to the window they are going to ask you to pull up or pull into a parking space on the right. I can't believe that for as long as this establishment has been open in Cibolo it hasn't gotten the concept of offering quality customer service and having adequate staffing. We took the time to drive out to Z's; 45 min. If there was one in Alamo Ranch (in my area), I'd be there at least once a week. Proteins over salad is my easy go to. I used to prepare the salad at home but because I prefer a variety of veggies, I can't keep up before the veggies they go bad. There is only one restaurant in the area that FEATURES salads - it only "okay". The Z's we visited in the Cibolo area was bright, clean (on both sides of the counter), employees provided excellent service. They were well groomed, polite & cheerful. Menu option are bountiful, prices reasonable. If you live within a reasonable drive to Z's, get there. Your body will thank you. read more
