Stopped by Zaxby's during the busy holiday season and the drive-thru was wrapped all the way around the building so we decided to head inside instead. Best decision! Despite how crowded it was, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food came out. The service was excellent from start to finish, and you could tell the team was working hard to keep things moving smoothly. A special shoutout to Assistant Manager Jeristin, who even came around to check on us and make sure everything was good. That kind of attention really stands out, especially during such a hectic time. Great food, fast service, and clean restaurant. We CRAVE Zaxby's sauce. My only complaint, seriously, is that I don't ever get enough sauce. I always want more. We love the teriyaki chicken, as well. The service is commendable. I can't remember them ever messing up my order. I honestly can't say that about any other restaurant. We're ALWAYS getting DoorDash credit back because of messed up orders. Have not been to a Zaxby's in a while but after last night's trip we won't be going back. Service was ok but I do not know how young the chickens they are using for their wings and tenders must be but these were the smallest I have ever seen and to make it worse, the serving size is literally half of what it used to be when I was a more frequent guest. I kid you not when I say their large fry was 12 french fries. 12!!!!! The amount of wings and tenders were the same but how were they so small? Are they cracking open eggs to get their meat now???? A shame because honestly it still tastes good but the price has gone up, the amount has gone down, and the tea tasted like water and sugar so I guess they skimped out on the tea bags too. Only one chance to make a first impression, and they failed. I've never eaten at Zaxby's, walked there to give them a try. I attempted to ask the young man, who walked to the counter, what he would recommend for a first timer at their restaurant. Was told that he/they can't help me as they can only do drive through or online orders. I was stumped at such a policy. I could have understood if they said that dinning room was closed because of whatever reason they chose. The reason I walked to this restaurant was to see what their food is like, and experience how they are better or different then their competition; now all I'll ever know is every way they must be worst. At this point, to use Covid or even the economy as an excuse, is a just a hollow excuse. No matter how great you claim your website is, it doesn't replace a "Welcome to our business, how may we help you." As well as a, "Thanks for coming to our business." I love Zaxbys! The food here is a few notchs above typical fast food. They offer a great variety of wing sauces, even some of the hottest available (beware, the "insane sauce" is insanly hot!! The warning is true). If getting a finger plate, you're sure to love Zaxby's signature dipping sauce. I even dip my fries in it. I don't get it. Why are there cars waiting in long lines to get to this place? The food is so mediocre. I had ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Who puts bacon on a Caesar salad? Oh my gosh I love this place. Never had it before I moved to Georgia. Best-seasoned chicken I've ever had. Their salads are all good, but I prefer the original. Nibblerz are out-of-this-world tasty. My Grandson loves Zaxby's and it is 3 miles from the house so I go here frequently but this is the slowest location of all in town - they constantly leave something off my order - the last thing was a chicken Zalad with NO chicken! they use the smallest slivers in the zax snack not their regular fingers and frequently forget the extra one I place in my order to compensate. 75 percent of the time they omit requested sauce in my order of wings. In all cases I have paid for the product not received so the order was taken correctly. I could drive the extra 10 miles across town and receive my accurately and in 1/2 the time - if they continue to make these repeated mistakes I am going to be forced to do so :-( read more
