The clothes are Zara are really well-curated with both fashion and trendy as well as classic choices. My issue is with returns. If you buy something, plan on keeping it! The counter downstairs is NOT for returns. For returns you have to go up the escalator to the 2nd floor and stand in line forever. My advice is to not make impulse choices and to try on the clothes you buy. read more

I had a terrible experience at the Zara in Valley Fair Mall. An employee looked me directly in the face but never acknowledged me, said hello, or offered any assistance. Meanwhile, employees and security were busy showing each other things on their phones. What bothered me most was being followed around the store by security as though I were going to steal. The security guard even followed me to the register and watched while I paid for my purchase. I understand that stores need to take precautions, but when the surveillance is so obvious that a paying customer feels targeted and profiled, something is seriously wrong. I shop at Zara often, both in-store and online, which is why I felt it was important to leave this feedback. Train your staff to acknowledge and assist customers and if you're going to monitor people, do it professionally. If I can plainly see what you're doing, do better. read more

The return process was really smooth. My wife had ordered some clothes online however she decided to return them. I took them to the store even after the 30 day period and they were able to return everything for me. No hassle. Shoutout to the manager Gonzalo. read more

Be careful to double-check pricing before leaving the store. I recently made an in-store purchase where two items rang up higher than the physical price tags displayed on the items. Customer service later acknowledged the lower tags were due to "human error" and outdated labels, but the store did not honor the displayed prices. The store also felt understaffed, and the overall customer service experience was not very welcoming. No one acknowledged me either in the store or in the dressing room area, and interactions felt fairly standoffish throughout the visit. I've included screenshots/photos for context of one of the items. And yes, even with tax, I was overcharged. I won't be returning. read more

Horrible customer service. Employees stare you down as if they were bothered you're there shopping. The store was an absolute mess it was hard to walk with so much stuff on the floor by the kids section. I left after 2 mins because I was overstimulated with the chaos in there. read more

This location definitely gives credence to why it's best to shop Zara online, if at all. The store is chaotic and the service is atrocious. Something I learned the hard way is that if you need to make a return from something you bought online, for example, it's best to get there before the store even opens. Typically there are already people standing outside the store as well, waiting to make their returns and as soon as those doors open, it's a rush to the cashier. It's a little crazy. If for some reason you get there, and there is a long line to the cashier, it's because they only have the registers working on one level. And returns and purchases are not differentiated. It is one line for everyone. I've seen lines go all the way to the entrance. So the very few times I've had to make a return at this location, I bring my headphones and make sure I've got a good podcast to listen to because you can be sure you're going to be standing in line for a while. I've never purchased anything here. Only returns. The atmosphere doesn't really make you want to shop. It makes you want to run for the hills lol. The store is almost always disheveled and the girls who work here look so depressed and disinterested in life that you almost Want to give them a referral to a good therapist. If I'm giving the girls who work here the benefit of the doubt, if I had to work here, I would probably look just as depressed and angry as they do. Customers seem pretty rude and it's just one rude customer after the next. So honestly, it's not surprising they disassociate while on shift. Unfortunately, though, like I said, the mood and the vibe does not exactly encourage one to want to shop. I used to shop Zara online all the time! But the past two years, I've lost interest. Even though the fashion is cute and affordable, I feel like the styles have gone downhill and so has the quality. Now a lot of people would argue that the quality has never been there, but I beg to differ. As I actually have some Zara pieces that have stood the test of time. It really all depends on what exactly it is you're buying. Sad to say the only thing I will purchase nowadays, online, from Zara, are the shoes. Only because I know what my size is and won't have to return them to the store. Anything to avoid going into the store. Anyway. Good luck at this location. Seriously. May the odds be ever in your favor! read more

Horrible service . Too slow staff that doesn't care about serving customers . Maybe not enough staff .

Be VERY careful about returns! Wait until you receive the email before walking out of the store as they have refunded the incorrect amounts! Do not trust the cashier if they tell you the amount of the refund or that all items were refunded. I later contacted customer service and they won't do anything about it even though I have proof of the refund. It's a sham. read more

@Zara seriously needs to do better. The changing rooms are shared for men and women, separated only by a curtain that doesn't even close all the way. There are men waiting right outside while women are changing, and it's way too easy to see inside. It feels uncomfortable and what's worse is that employees don't seem concerned at all. Privacy should be the bare minimum. Please fix this ! read more

Be aware of one of the WORST return policy there is! If you pass 30 days return period. You can't even get a store credit. The store said the online customer service can grant exception, the online customer service said the store can grant the exception. This place has the worst costumer service! I showed this picture to an employee and asked her if they had this sweater for my baby she replied let me go get the iPad. I waited for like 8-10 minutes for her to pass by me then came back with a cart full of clothes she was about to walk pass by me again but I stopped her and asked her did she have the iPad! This isn't my typical spot to shop for everyday clothes but recently have found really nice pieces for a photoshoot. I shopped online which was convenient and items came fairly quickly. Returning items are a bit difficult, you have to go into the store to return. If you return by mail, you'd have to pay for shipping. What was inconvenient was I drove almost an hour to get there to find out that their systems were down and they were not able to complete a return. The next week I wanted to come back to do the return but wanted to call first this time and their phone number listed did not work. I called the mall and got transferred to the store and again, the number was disconnected. This was very frustrating, I made the drive anyway and luckily their systems were working. Zara definitely needs to update their contact information to improve customer service. read more

I went to this store to pick up my Online Order around 3-3:30pm on Oct. 10, 2025. I asked the attendant at the upstairs fitting room where to pick up my online order, she told me to stand in line which was easily 10+ people deep already for the Cash Register. It turns out that she lied to me, because the online order pick up should be served by any store employees, especailly the fitting room attendant per Zara's policy. This Zara store seems to have some customer service problems. Each time I go in, the line is always long, and the employees are moving in glacier speed, they don't want to be bothered by customers. This is a Zara I visit frequently and everytime it's the same thing. Upstairs is for returns but they have one person on register and downstairs is for purchase and they probably have 2 people sometimes one. Today was so hot upstairs it doesn't make any sense at all. We waited over 50 minutes for a return. It's a sale going on now so I expect things to be all over. There are workers walking around and you would think they would have people on registers to get the line down or something! I usually can find a couple of pieces but now I order online but if returning will be this much of a hassle i dont know. read more

The customers services need to be Changed , hard to stand with the attitude of most of the staffs here . Why is there one register open on a Saturday? The line got so long that the alarm was going off at the front of the store. Instead of using that as an indicator to open another register to expedite the line, the employee asked us to curve the line and snake it through the un-kept racks of clothes- you have to kind of applaud her level of unbotheredness hahaha After reviewing previous yelp posts, this seems to be a consistent issue with this location and management does not seem to care. It's obvious they're not hurting financially, and one review isn't going to make a difference, but it would be nice for the store managers to make an effort to improve the store experience for their customers. read more

I am profoundly disappointed with the experience I had in the store today while my two young daughters, aged 2 and 4, were present. Upon entering the store from downstairs, I noticed that the purchase line was very short, with multiple employees working at the cashier. However, when I reached the upstairs section, I found the return line almost out the door, with only one employee handling returns. We waited approximately 45 minutes until I was third in line. At this point, I politely asked an employee who was hanging clothes if I could speak to her manager. The employee quickly fetched the manager, Gonzalo, and I calmly explained to him that my children and I had been waiting for 45 minutes. I suggested that it would be helpful to have two employees working the return line, given that there were multiple employees downstairs assisting with purchases despite it being a very short line. Gonzalo quickly and rudely dismissed my suggestion, claiming it was impossible to assign additional staff to the return register. Shortly after, his employee (white t-shirt) asked him to help her with the customer ahead of me who had two full bags of returns. He then called another employee to assist with returns. I pointed out to him right then stating, "Now you're able to bring another employee to help" to which he reacted by instructing both employees not to process my return. He waved his hand, shooed me off, and told me to "get the f*** out" - all in front of my children- aged 2 and 4!!! I refused to leave. I was shocked and in total disbelief that this employee just cursed at me in front of my children. He had no right to refuse my return, and I was determined to stand up for my rights. The two employees whom Gonzalo directed not to process my return followed through with his orders. One continued to ignore me (wearing the white t-shirt). And the other (in the black t-shirt) kept a smirk on her face, and called me a "bitch," while repeatedly stating that she would not process my return. This behavior is entirely unacceptable. No business should deny a customer the right to return an item that complies with the store's return policy. Moreover, the manager called Zara's security to escort me out of the store, who ultimately did nothing and instead kept apologizing because they recognized the inappropriate conduct of Zara's store manager and his staff. This further demonstrates the injustice of the situation. My children and I were subjected to this mistreatment, which was entirely uncalled for. I have documented the incident with pictures and videos of the employees involved, and I will be sharing this evidence with the corporate office. (I was only able to share short trimmed snippets on Yelp, btw. Couldn't upload the entire video.) This manager and the two employees involved should not be representing this company. Their actions were unprofessional and inappropriate, and I urge you to take immediate disciplinary action. read more

Waited 45 in a line to return one item. Get to the front to realize I'm 2 days over return policy, mind you this is during holidays and typically all stores have extended policy, and the manager wouldn't make an exception even for store credit. I was taken back but there was nothing I could do since I could tell she's not very kind. She was very unprofessional with her tone (a little attitude and condescending). Her employees typically never know how to prioritize and seem poorly trained. Line can be at the door and they chat and take their time. Online returns are a joke. Line goes out the door. Complain to manager and she says that's just the way it is. Management here sucks because they turn a blind eye to the chaos. This is like waiting in line for a Disney ride but you don't get a ride! Behind me a customer says, " This is the slowest line in the world!" You got to wonder why the line for returns is 10x as long as the line for purchases. I went to 3 different Zara stores in a week. This location was one of them. This specific Zara is two floors. Upstairs you'll find the Women, Men, and Kids clothes. Downstairs, you'll find more Women's clothing. This store is located in Valley Fair Mall. Due to the new Covid protocols, the store is only allowing 66 people in the store at a time. The mall was fairly busy so I had to wait in line for an hour to get in. The store doesn't allow eating or drinking. I had to take a huge gulp of the last of my boba drink before I was allowed inside. As far as the selection goes, the Women's section had a good selection. But not as many handbags and accessories were available compared to other Zara locations. The day I went had a ton of sales. I found women's tops on sale for 12.99-25.00. This is a good deal if you're into good quality clothes that last. I love the kids apparel. Most of my kids clothes are from Zara. It's more expensive than other clothing stores but sometimes you can score good deals on t-shirts. Kids jeans and shoes are a bit on the pricey side. The negative: The line to pay for the clothes was super long. There were only 2 employees working and they closed the register in the Men's department. I asked myself, "Did everyone decide to get in line at the same time?" I waited in line for another 30 minutes -- honestly it felt longer. Another negative: The store wasn't as organized, a little messy, but it was expected with the amount of people shopping that day. read more
