    Fitting room

Worst Zara store in the world. You feel like everyone there works out of pure anger, and when you ask for something, they act not as if they're being paid to help you, but as if they're being forced to stop doing something more important to do you a favor. On top of that, the shirt I wanted only had sizes L and XL on the rack, and the mannequin had the only size M. I said I needed the M, and they told me no. I politely asked, "Are you sure you can't get the M for me? Because this really represents a terrible customer experience." The guy said, "I can ask my manager if you want, but she'll tell you the same thing." I replied, "Well, if she's going to say the same thing, there's no reason to ask, is there?" Also, the store is always--and I mean always--filthy. Completely dirty. The fitting rooms look abandoned, with no cleaning or maintenance whatsoever. The worst experience you'll ever have at a Zara will be at the San Francisco location on 250 Post St.

One of the most pleasant shopping experiences ever. The store is really spacious, super clean with no clothes scattered all over the floor, and I was able to find what I wanted immediately. Also, every size of the item I was looking for was available, which I feel hardly happens. Ended up with a gorgeous camel coat!

okay stop us for supposedly stealing but won't look at our items and just stands around confused and cant back their shit up. imbeciles.

I love Zara because it has a high end quality but with affordable price. It's just quite crowded but I am surprised.

Want to make it really fun? Be an uncle who lives in far-off San Francisco. By this I mean, the time you actually get to spend together is very special, because it is a rare treat. I have two nieces, currently both a little younger than 4 and 2, respectively. I wanted to get them something special and San Francisco-related for my last visit. Here's the rub: I know very little about children. I'm not sure what age kids start doing things, but I do know that things change quick in terms of development. What to do? I recommend Fiddlesticks to the clueless uncles of the world. My primary feedback about this store is about its service. The gentleman who helped me on my two visits could not have been nicer or more helpful. He has a background in education, and walked me through how toys and games relate to development. Left to my own devices, I would have missed the mark on a few items - so the help was very valuable. Instead, he walked around giving me a bunch of good options. And, the girls loved their gifts. They have a great selection of toys and games, definitely for the younger crowd. I would think that 7 or 8 would be about the high end for age - I may be wrong about that. They also have a lot of cute and high-quality clothes and shoes. (Although I'm a rube, so if it's clothes, the girls are getting Vikings, Twins and, to the chagrin of their U of M parents, definitely some Wisconsin Badgers gear from Uncle Adam... I might sneak some Giants stuff in when the Twins are better, I don't want them to jump ship on their hometown team. Although I almost pulled the trigger on a stuffed Lou Seal)

When I walked in, I had one quick greeting and then the employees started chatting with each other. When I was about to ask a question, one of the sales person said, "Oh are you looking for the sales section?" I replied, "No... I'm looking for a gift. He's turning 2." And she showed me the entire section that isn't organized by gender or age. LOL! Very specific recommendations. Anyway, I was wearing sweats today but since when did anyone care about what one wears on a 3pm on a Tuesday shopping? And frankly, not that it matters, but I don't think I've ever bought anything on sale from here.

In my opinion prices were a bit high for used items. Saw a baby bjorn bouncer for $50 when i see them on FB being sold for less. Nike sneakers were perhaps 50% off retail price, but with some patience and waiting for a good sale, you can definitely snag some for the same price brand new. Toy selection looked sub par. A lot of the toy items i feel like i can find for free on buy nothing groups, as parents are usually desperate to get rid of them. I saw a pair of Zara trousers that were perfect but because they were new with tag and retailed at $35, they were selling them for $20. Still a bit high considering I am purchasing from a thrift store and have limited selection, so I had to pass on it. I am better off buying a new pair of pants on sale, especially for something that will be worn 1-2x If you're in a pinch and cannot wait for something to go on sale, might be a good place to pick up something last minute.

This is the most darling clothing, shoes and toy store for babies, toddlers, and young children…read morethat I probably have ever gone to. Their stuff is so perfectly curated, with high quality clothing items, i.e. Blueberry Hill, with all the things you can imagine and more. They have outfits for every occasion, including nice pajamas, cute Christmas outfits, cute "big brother" tshirts, dresses, and even little designer jackets from Stella McCartney (and the like). If you have an idea for something, they likely have it. The clothing is for all age groups - newborns, babies, toddlers, and young children. They have a pretty nice shoe selection too, although that seems to be more for the young child age. The toys are also very nicely curated. Everything looks very aesthetic, and good quality, nicely made, not cheaply designed. They also have toys for all age levels. They additionally have a huge Jellycat that is super cute to look at on display! They also have a great selection of books that are really cute - I ended up getting "Dog's First Baby" which was such a cute book, that my daughter loves so much, since we have a pup at home. Their service can be very helpful, if you know what you are looking for. However, I just so much enjoyment browsing here, since everything costs an arm and a leg. This is definitely a great place to buy a gift for anyone who is having a baby, or having a young child birthday party. The staff can recommend what to buy for a "3 month old" etc.! Love this store, always fun to browse when I'm in the area!

To find out when the sales are, check craigslist and add yourself onto the email list when you attend the sample sale. Pros: - The prices are AMAZING!!! for the brands that you get. Sure, zulily and totsy constantly have discounts on Baby Nay, Le Top, Rabbit Moon but it's mostly previous season. The clothing at the sample sale are this upcoming season or even the next season's which means that you are getting the clothing before it even hits the stores. - The clothes typically sell for $50-$60 in stores but most are marked between $20-$30 and you can ask for an additional 20% discount making each outfit approximately $20. - Although it's in the back room of BB Hawks (a high end discount clothing store), the space is very spacious. - The clothing is neatly organized by the different reps since they each represent different brands. - There's clothing ranging in age from newborn through age 12, casual to formal, and tons of accessories including blankets, socks, and shoes. Cons: - Since it's a sample sale, the quantity and sizes are limited. - Some of the sizing tags are a bit off, mainly because these are samples rather than production but they represent what will be in production (probably even better quality because they are not mass produced) - If you are not into higher end clothing for your kids, this might still be on the expensive side since each outfit will cost you around $20 whereas you can buy consignment or shop big box retail for much cheaper. .
