I came to this Zara location to look for a pair of black slacks for work. I picked a few pairs and went downstairs to the fitting room to try everything on. I was pleasantly greeted by Elisa. we both agreed that none of the slacks I picked looked very good on me and that the material was too thick in the waist, also her being very thin as well she suggested a pair she thought would look great on me. high waisted black dress slacks.. Well, I tried them on and I LOVED THEM!!!!!! I bought 3 pair. Elisa did an excellent job helping me put together my order so I could wear the slacks out of the store and gave me the phone numbers to order them from other stores. She also assisted me in finding other locations of Zara's to purchase more pairs as well as ringing up the order. I wish all sales people were as good and helpful as Elisa. It's so obvious how much she loves her job.

Awesome! Limited edition shirt! Amazing! Get compliments all the time because of it!

First, a big Zara fan. A lot of my clothes are Zara! Pants, shirts, jackets, hoodies, vests, and now shoes, you name it I've got it! This Zara is very nice, all the clothes are awesome but, I just have one problem. The staff are sometimes INCREDIBLY rude and unhelpful. So here's the deal, my step-mom was harassed by one of the employees! She was using a bag that she was going to purchase to hold clothes. A staff member came and harassed her about using it, saying things like "Your going to purchase that bag right?" and then "You aren't lying to me right?" What an attitude. When I came into the store and found her she told me everything. She also included that the staff member was staring at her. Total weirdo, an insane staff. I ended up getting these shoes, pants, and shirt. The checkout people were nice, kind, and helpful. We returned some clothes, but that's fine because the ones we didn't return weren't just A-OK, they were fantastic. I highly recommend this fashion business, but watch your back because sometimes the staff are rude, and very unhelpful, as well as unprofessional.

One cashier , 40'people in line

The line to return an item was 40 people long and 1 cashier !!! The manager said there is nothing that can be done ....avoid this store , it's a disaster !!

Who in their right mind would put a customer's purchase in this bag and think it is acceptable?! Apparently Zara employees think so.

Things haven't changed much here. The dressing room staff definitively need training on customer service as well as conversational English. The staff at the dressing room brought me to a room and proceeded to count all the pieces I had (not that it matters since they don't count your pieces when you exit - so it's a complete waste of time). She took all the pieces out of the in-house shopping bag and proceeded to hand them on the hooks. The only problem is there are enough hooks and the 3 hooks there didn't hold much. So a lot of pieces ended up in the floor. At some point I needed different size and stepped out of the room. The attendant kept bringing people into the dressing room but ignored me. I kept saying " excuse me" but she kept ignorant me. After a few tunes, she finally turned to me and told me she is coming to me, as if I am being impatient. Even after that she went back to bringing a few people into the room before "coming to me". I had a too and a dress which I asked for a smaller size. I SPECIFICALLY told her to bring back the 2 pieces she took from me as I need to compare how the 2 sizes fit me. I did that because I KNEW they are incompetent. Guess what. She did not bring back my 2 pieces. I reiterated that I need to compare how they fit and hence my SPECIFIC request to have her bring them back. She had no reaction. There was no apology. She simply said she left the pieces on the floor. I told her the top could be the last one in that size. You would think she would feel bad not following my request and hurry to get my top. NO. She took her time escorting more people to fitting rooms before disappearing. When she reappeared she did not have my top. I watched her worked the dressing room and gave up after a while. A bit later she cane back with my top. I had also asked her to take some pieces away (the ones I didn't want). Her answer was I can take them out on my way out. I told her I wasn't leaving yet. She couldn't care less. She is really in the wrong line of work. She doesn't want to be helpful. She ignore customers. She doesn't follow the simple ask of the customers she end up assisting. If i was a secret shopper, she would get a 0 out of a 10.

I used to shop in Zara frequently I used to spend a good amount of money per year. But , I'm sorry , I have to share with you this story ... Security rudely stoped me by the entrance. Without of telling me the reason. Asked me for the recipe for my shoes which is I purchased the day before . I said that I don't have a receipt with me , because I purchased my shoes yesterday. Like I understand the reason of why he stopped me it's the short black thread on my shoes. While I been standing there he treat me like garbage with the manager . I told them I have a credit card and they check , they have s security camera and they have to check it before stopping people . This is harassment. He Told me to take off my headphones so I can hear him better .... Are you serious!? THE RENT FOR THIS STORE COAST 75,000$ A MONTH!!!!!! And he gonna talk to me like that ? This must be a joke . Lol In the end of this , I left store and I didn't hear any apologies. Alright , well . I don't even need it that very much . It's happened on Saturday, October 14, 2017. 8:55 PM . With the security guard Kory. On 500 fifth ave , NY, 10110 After that happened, this business will never ever see even a penny from me or my family!

Well organized, bright, spacious, and clean. I picked up a few things for summer season which were on sale. Many items I saw were on sale which they normally have throughout the year. Always some sort of sale going on top of their decent pricing. Clean dressing rooms and a public bathroom to use, but you need a staff member to let you in. Staff was nice and helpful. Plus, they have late hours here. Open until 11pm most days and until 1am on weekends.

I had purchased a bunch of stuff online, and unfortunately all of the jeans I ordered were too big (I think their size chart changed - that, or I lost weight lol). Instead of returning them, I decided to go exchange them as I really wanted them, they were just too big. This location is HUGE, which is why I decided to come here instead of the smaller one located near me. I figured there was a higher chance they would have my size in everything I was exchanging. Turns out, I was right! I took the jeans to the dressing room to try them on, and the attendant was great! She was super nice and even cleared out the few things left in the dressing room before leaving me to it. I'm finding more and more retail stores to have chaotically-messy dressing rooms these days, so this was super refreshing! After trying on the new jeans and confirming I got the right size this time, I stood in the checkout line to do the exchange. The guy who helped me was super nice! He explained that he would have to refund me for the original purchase, then charge me again for the new jeans but assured me I would get them at the same price. He explained that this is how Old Navy makes them do it and that it confuses a lot of customers (rightly so, I might add!). He also noted that it was smart of me to buy them online as I got a way better deal on them had I just purchased them in-store. Woohoo! While the exchange process took a bit longer than I had originally anticipated, it was super easy overall. Although I hate dealing with Times Square, I would definitely choose to come back to this location due to the size, the friendly atmosphere and because it's open crazy late. Definitely worth the trek, in my opinion!

Has three floors in total in which each floor caters to different categories like heattech + men's + women's + children apparel + graphic tees. There's even a Uniqlo coffee shop on the 2nd floor. A large fake Christmas tree is placed in the center when first walking inside through the entrance. Then, a huge red escalator of heading up and down to each floor is behind the tree. Additionally. everything's either being neatly organized or stacked on most of the shelves and inside drawers except for a couple of areas here and there. The price range is reasonable for most apparel items besides the thick puffer jackets + sweaters + graphic tees. Even though there seem to be signs for the fitting room and cashiers/self-checkout, it's still pretty confusing to walk around and find stuff imo because of how large the Uniqlo space is. I have to flag down and ask different staff about the whereabouts of cashiers as I'm paying with cash. There's a bit of a line for those paying by cash despite several 5-6 cashiers being present while no line at all for self-checkout (card only). No line for the fitting room though. Generally, staff is shown as helpful + amiable + patient in a professional manner towards customers. My favorite section is probably by the heattech area. There're 3 various heattech types of warmth for both adults and children. Of course you can wear whichever layer as you please at the end of the day. All the desired temperatures are simply suitable for preferred reference anyway. The Original (Mild Weather) - 5°C to 20°C or 41°F to 68°F Extra Warmth (Colder Days) - -5°C to 15°C or 23°F to 59°F Ultra Warm (Extreme Cold) - -20°C to 10°C or -4°F to 50°F I think The Original layer of heattech is already pretty warm for the 30s-40s temperature here in NYC. The fabric is the thinnest in material. Very comfy to wear without being too stuffy on the inside. I bought two long sleeved heattech pieces today ($19.90 each). They also come in different colors and styles that might be suited to the personal taste of each and every customer. I'm not sure if they have a restroom for the public, will have to search for it next time...

So seriously, I walked by the store window and saw these beautiful things in the window and it was like I saw a puppy - I just had to have something. I saw the most adorable striped HALTER baby bathing suit and I thought about it and thought about it... text pictured it to a baby momma to see if she loved it and when i didn't get a response, I headed home... Well, on the subway ride home, I felt I made a terrible mistake. I kept seeing the baby bathing suit and decided I must find another just as cute option in SoHo that day... but alas, after traipsing around the West village AND SoHo, I could NOT find anything remotely as cute as this adorable adult looking but made for babies bathing suit... so I headed right back up to the Upper East Side today and snagged it with a matching sun hat. I won't tell you how much I paid though. Also, I read another person's comment about poor customer service. I'd like to say that I think this definitely depends on the day you go and who's working. Yesterday, I was met with very poor customer service, however, today, both ladies working were very accommodating. One kind sales woman went downstairs three times to get a size, find another bathing suit to show me and look for a had that would "better fit" the 8 month old I was shopping for. I appreciated this a lot. Do people who sell little exquisite baby things deal with crass people who do things like call smoky, leggy messengers to pick up petite bundles for petite bundles of joy without ever having met said bundles? I felt awkward. It's also three days before Christmas, and I can only imagine that the petite bundles of joy are filling the halls with things other than holly in this store. In fact, I imagine that the entire Upper East Side is standing there glaring at the salesperson as we discuss what to put in a basket. I have to say that the saleslady was an absolute DOLL, and so understanding; "What would you like to send in your basket?" (not that they have baskets, but because I'd asked for one, she was graciously following my lead) "Um....ionno...we just found out that she's about to have a baby, and we don't know what she's having...I'm sure SHE knows what she's having, cuz you know, it's hers....and uh...well I just don't know anything but I still have to buy something. Can you put something in a basket and let a messenger come get it? Something non gender specific? You have um, sheets? Every baby likes to poo on a good egyptian cotton, right?" She and I were crying with laughter on the phone, she was very sympathetic to my lack of baby-philic tendencies and she took care of me as smoothly as....well, you know. If I could have tipped her I would have. But I'm betting that she's beneath such things.
