On Friday night (06/13) I went to return 3 items that I bought online. So I went to men's checkout counter and I gave the staff all my items. I laid down all three on top of the counter and he started to scan. I wasn't paying attention cause I was trying to look up the receipt from the app. Then he told me everything was done and the refunds will show up in my app later, maybe 2-3 days. So I left, but the next day I received an email and showing refund for only 2 items! He missed scanning one of my item! I tried to contact the corporate but they said they didn't receive it. I told them to check the security camera footage, they will definitely see what I returned.But they don't want to do so and keep telling me it wasn't received. So here I want to leave a bad review on this store because the staff who took my returns didn't do his job properly. I'm also mad at the corporate because they don't do any further investigation to help the customer. I seriously don't think I will ever go back and shop Zara anymore! Go H&M or Uniqlo. Dear ZARA Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally report a deeply disappointing experience that occurred today at your ZARA store in Houston Memorial City Mall. While I was shopping in the children's section, the store manager behaved in an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I was selecting clothes and trying to match colors and sizes for my child when the manager suddenly came over, pulled the clothes off my stroller, damaged the stroller, and put the items back in the closet behind the customer service She told me I must leave the clothes there and that I could only buy them after deciding. I politely explained that I was still choosing and checking sizes, but she started yelling and using offensive language, telling us to leave the store and calling the police to remove us. This behavior was shocking and completely unacceptable. I have always respected ZARA for its quality products and global reputation for style and service, but this experience was unlike anything I have ever encountered in any ZARA store worldwide. No customer deserves to be treated with such disrespect. I kindly ask that you investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that such behavior does not happen again. This was my first time shopping at this mall. As a new mom I wanted to treat myself to something other than sweatpants, a hoodie and a cheeseburger. I needed a few fashion forward pieces. After leaving Nordstrom Rack I stumbled across ZARA. And just my luck there was a major sale! Yippie!! The store wasn't over crowded. I stopped in around 11:30am. The staff was present and ready to answer questions. Fitting rooms were clean, no leftover clothing items. To my surprise the store wasn't a total mess. The regular and sale racks were easy to shop. I didn't see any dust or grossness on the fixtures. The Checkout line was long a few times but quickly thinned. I definitely look forward to shopping here again soon read more

While I love the Galleria location, its worth making the trek to this location during the week as it doesn't have monster lines, dressing rooms a plenty and the stock is pretty good. This is location is very clean and organized. As a long time ZARA shopper both online and throughout the country, as far as customer service goes, you get what you pay for. Zara is a fast fashion outlet and they want you in and out. If you're looking to get your hand held for a $19 sweater, you need to manage your expectations. It is not going to happen. Zara deals in volume and moving massive quantities of clothing. So buckle up and grab what you want and get in line with the rest of us. That's how Zara works. When I went back 7 days after to pick them up they told me they had not arrived yet, so because of that my son and I had to take off time from school and work and go shopping again because those slacks wouldnt come in time . Went back 2 more times , same story, and third time I decided I dont want to waist more time and that I'm going to ask for a refund or exhange, This time I asked for the manager " Chrisitna" who no only didnt offer an apology , she was very rude and dismissive and said that's an online purchase and she can't help and gave me a number to call. I said well if I wanted to make an online purchase I wouldnt come to your store, your associate make the order on your system , you didnt even give me the option to receive at home, but she completely ignored me and walked away repeating the samething that it's not their issue and cant help. I left the store and called the number that the so called manager "Christina " provided, after being on hold for sometime and explaining the situation to the rep he said the item was never sent to store and he can oder a "replacement" or a refund, thinking to myself , really a replacement to go through this again! So I declined the offer and asked to email the store so the manager can issue a refund I asked, and he said the email is sent and I can show it the manager to receive the refund. I returned to store for the fourth time, and again the manager refused to help l, saying that email is not good enough. So I called the helpline again and this time they are asked me to provide my account info to get refunded withhn 48 hours or to go to the store At this point I said but you have lost all your credibility I need a refund right now, how do expect me to believe anything you promise, I'm tired of chasing this order and now I have to be chasing my money God knows how long, so asked for an even exchange, again tha so called manager refused to help to rectify the issue ..and ended up calling security on me.... this has been by far the worst purchase experience, poor cutromer service, and they manager was terrible!! Very disappointed with the store and manager, as someone who values good customer service. This was not a good experience. No resolution was offered by the Manager 1. Shirt I never wore had scratches that I had not noticed at purchase or were easily made from the Oversized buttons at the wrist. 2. First encounter, store associate at the register told me to go find the same shirt for a replacement because they only allow replacement "same shirt, any color or size" if you do not have a STORE RECEIPT. This same shirt was still stocked in the store and EVERY size had OBVIOUS SCRATCHES and marks around the shirt. It was defective and badly made item. 3. Second encounter, about 30 minutes later I came back to the register with a replacement shirt that I finally decided on (in a different color) only for the manager to tell me they can NOT honor any resolution because the shirt had to be in "same condition it was bought" In the end I looking for a replacement a shirt that was flawed from the beginning As a registered nurse who works nights this was an inconvenience to come during the day. Every time I walk passed Zara I have to go inside to see what's new and what's on sale. I love their basic vneck and regular t shirts. I also love their winter coats and have been looking for the perfect tan color. The staff here are nice but sometimes it's hard to find someone when you need to ask questions or find something. The line can get lengthy but I've never had to wait more than 10 to 15 minutes when waiting to cash out. I love the quality of heels and boots at Zara it's much better than H&M for sure. If I need an outfit or something for travel I can always find something here. read more

Cute clothes, cheap prices, above average quality & virtually non-existent customer service. The staff at this location seem to only speak to each other & pretty much ignore the line at the cash register. However, once it is your turn they seen pretty friendly. Store is kept clean, merchandised nicely (not packed like sardines) & they have skinny mirrors in the dressing room so that was a nice boost to my ego until I realized I owed the mirror for my fabulousness. read more

Horrible experience, I spent an hour driving to this store because I had an important work event the next morning that I really needed a jacket for. I checked the hours online before I made the trip just in case, and they indicated the store is open M-Sat until 9pm. I arrived shortly before 8pm, went around and picked out the items I wanted in the sizes I needed to try, and show up to the fitting room to find it barred with a sign saying they close the fitting room at 7pm. I inquired with staff what was going on and they told me that they have started closing the store at 8pm, and fitting room at 7pm - but haven't updated the hours online. Apparently I'm not the first person for this to happen too.... I asked if there was any way I could just try my items after coming all the way out, nope didn't care. I asked if I could speak to a manager to file a complaint and let them know their hours online are wrong and misleading to customers, nope their busy right now unless I wanted to wait around. I asked if I could have the general managers name and a phone number I could reach them at ... you guessed it... No - they have been told not to give out the managers name and don't have a store phone number. I wonder how many more people this will happen too before they correct their hours of operation online. I could have gone somewhere else and lost the opportunity wasting my time coming to this store and now I'm in a bind. There was a number of pieces I had saved online to buy at Zara once I confirmed my sizes and they will no longer be getting any of my business. To top off this experience - it was my birthday and I would have much rather been out having a nice dinner with my family, but had run out of time with my busy work week and really needed to get a jacket. So today I made a return of a purchase that was made online. First off we are in the mist of a pandemic. Upon making my return, which was due only to me not liking the items in person, the sales associate took the items out of the box and immediately put them on a hanger for resale. There was no type of sanitation practices in sight! I was stunned. I was going to make an in store purchase, but that just soured my entire experience. I ordered $500 worth of clothing from Zara that was scheduled for two different deliveries. I received the first box that had one item and never received the second box. It was supposedly delivered but I never received it. Customer service at Zara was not helpful at all. I was limited to messaging and could not speak with a live person. I was told thank you by customer service and they would get back to me. The next message was a thank you and they hoped I was satisfied with the customer service. They refused to assist me at all. I experienced this same issue one time with Revolve clothing and they immediately shipped me a replacement item with no questions. I highly recommend Revolve Clothing. After driving 45 to visit this store and had an arm full of clothes to try on we walk to dressing room at 6:05pm to learn they closed at 6pm and we could no longer try anything on. Our options were purchase and return or leave everything we had found. Spoke to a manager and even offered to put our own clothes back to be able to use a dressing room and was sharply told no. I bought several cute tops during spring break. Never have had any issues with Zara clothing. Couple of days later, I noticed one of the tops had the security tag still on. Pandemic hit and shut down the mall. After 3 months of closure, Zara store opened so I took the top back to store and explained my situation. I did not have my receipt but hope the manager and clerk would understand. The manager was dead set on not doing anything to help me. She pretty much told me I am stuck with security tag on my blouse. No options, no apology, no have a nice day. The customer service in this store is non existent. I'm so disappointed. read more

Purchased a pair of Men's Faux Leather boots from this location about 2 months ago. I've worn the boots a couple times and already the zipper broke off. Contacted the store and explained to management that I no longer live in the Houston area and that there is no Zara in the San Diego area where I live now. Asked was there anything the store could do in regards to the issue and management told me to bring the boot in with receipt for an exchange or refund. After explaining to store rep that I didn't want to fly back home just to deal with the issue both men's department manager and store manager told me that's their policy. I've paid almost $200 for these boots, the zipper shouldn't have broke in the first place and to tell a client to fly across the country to deal with issue was even more bothersome. I will never order anything online with Zara again. I ordered a package on the 17th of November and did not get an email update until the 26th saying the shipment had departed the distribution center. The email that I received on the 26th also stated that I would receive a tracking number but I never got one and it also stated that it should take 2-4 working days for me to receive my package but that did not happen.. So I called customer care 12/1 to ask for an update and they had the tracking number and told me that my package would be delivered by end of day. Unfortunately, I work at an office where FedEx comes at a certain time everyday(before the office closes) and the package did not arrive. So I asked the representative to email me the tracking number and she told me it would take 24 hours to receive the email. I'm not too sure why it should even take that long. It has been two weeks since I've ordered the package. I ordered online for convenience since I don't have time to go to the store. Considering that my order has now taken two weeks so far is unnecessary. I don't think I've ever ordered anything online and it has taken this long with communication nor delivery. Zara needs to fix the online shipping and communication system. Maybe when you email the customer that the shipment has departed you should attach the tracking number with it. The store itself is clean and well organized and surprisingly was not crowded. Granted I did go after work on a Thursday evening. Everything was pleasant until I got to the fitting room which was a total and utmost disaster of astronomic proportions. There was no one there to let you into the fitting rooms. There were people running in and out of the fitting rooms to show their family what they were purchasing. It was a nuisance mostly. Not sure if it was the store's fault or the fact that I decided to go to Zara at Memorial City Mall. Regardless, the store itself is still in pristine condition but the people working there are not friendly at all. When I entered the store there was a huge line at the cashier in the men's cash register but by the time I came out of the fitting room there was no one to be found so I felt a little silly just standing there thinking someone might return but when I saw the guy back in the fitting room area asking people how many clothes they had with them (he wasn't there when I went into the fitting room) it was clear to me that no one was going to come in over to the men's cash registers. I slowly made my way into the women's section of the store where theey only had two cash registers running. Yeah, the line was not long but it was a hassle having to wait for people to move because the cashiers weren't ringing people up fast enough. At this store you don't feel welcomed like you do at the one in the Galleria (even though the clothes over there have been rummaged through like zoo animals raided the place). I remember the good old days of shopping at the gally when there were stores like French Connection and United Colors of Benetton. They are sorely missed. I love Zara, many of my pieces are from this store. I think the style is nice and trendy. The materials are high quality and everything looks expensive. This store sells many of the larger sizes out quicker. I am guessing they either have limited sizes are the consumers in this size frequent this location regularly. I always get complements on all of my Zara gear. If you work in an office they have the perfect office attire. They also have great dresses and date night outfits. read more

She went to the back and returned saying she couldn't find it. I let her know that I also received a text notifying me that my package was ready for pickup at the store. Next she got her manager. Same thing, went to the back and returned saying it was probably not at the store yet. I called customer service while at the store. They told me to put the manager on the phone. He told one of his employees to talk to customer service. That employee goes to the back and returns magically with my package in tow. Of course, his defense was claiming I had given them the wrong order number. Overall, very bad service. You rather just go to the galleria. read more

I've shopped at Zara for a very long time. I've looked past the bad customer service because I love the clothes. However, after my experience this past Friday, I won't ever give them another dollar. Because their fitting rooms are closed, you have to buy things and take them back for exchange or return. I always keep my receipts. I went in on Friday night with a return. I had originally paid with 2 gift cards and my credit card, the majority of the purchase being on my credit card. After scanning two of my items, the associate told me that it would be returned to a gift card, to which I told her that I wanted it on my credit card. She said the computer was forcing her to put it on a GC. She then called her manager, who repeated what she had told me. I expressed to him that I preferred it on my CC, as it had kept everything else and had my receipt. He then easily refunded my CC and as he walked away, I told him thank you and that I appreciated it. He stopped and said 'you are NOT welcome'. I was blown away. I'm used to the rude, unhelpful associates but for a manager to be so blatantly rude goes beyond unacceptable. Zara has such mediocre staff and, as someone that was previously a retail manager, I can't even wrap my head around speaking to a customer in this way. read more
