This was my first time shopping at this mall. As a new mom I wanted to treat myself to something other than sweatpants, a hoodie and a cheeseburger. I needed a few fashion forward pieces. After leaving Nordstrom Rack I stumbled across ZARA. And just my luck there was a major sale! Yippie!! The store wasn't over crowded. I stopped in around 11:30am. The staff was present and ready to answer questions. Fitting rooms were clean, no leftover clothing items. To my surprise the store wasn't a total mess. The regular and sale racks were easy to shop. I didn't see any dust or grossness on the fixtures. The Checkout line was long a few times but quickly thinned. I definitely look forward to shopping here again soon

Long lines

So Zara closed their fitting room to prevent the spread of COVID!!! Smart moves!! Look at the lines at 11AM on a weekday... people might as well just keep the stuff they didn't get to try on at the store to avoid this? What a great business strategy!!! They said,"We care about the safety of our customers"! Let them all packed up in long lines masks or no masks! Yay

My friend in the line

My friend has been standing in line for over 20 minutes, and there is only 2 people on register. My other friend went to use the bathroom and came back. That's how long the line is. It's honestly ridiculous. They need to hire more people or the manager needs to help their employees.

The store is spacious, clean, and beautifully organized, which makes browsing feel effortless and enjoyable. The overall vibe is modern, calm, and welcoming--exactly what you want when you're taking your time picking out clothes. Uniqlo's quality continues to impress me. From everyday basics to seasonal pieces, everything feels thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well-made. It's the kind of store where you walk in for one item and suddenly want to buy everything because it all just makes sense for daily wear. I truly wish Uniqlo would open a location in the Austin area soon--it would be a dream! If I had to mention one downside, it would be the pricing. Uniqlo used to feel a bit more affordable, and with its growing popularity, prices have definitely increased. That said, the quality still makes many items worth the investment, especially if you catch a good deal. Overall, Uniqlo Houston is absolutely worth visiting. If you're nearby and considering shopping there, go for it--you won't regret it. Cheers!

Carter's had a great selection of Christmas PJs and had them all in all the sizes... bonus, they were all $10 from the $34 price tag. The wait at checkout was one of the biggest negatives. They had two girls working but both were dealing with returns and it took FOREVER. Finally another girl took us on the other side, which was a relief. The other negative is that it's just so dang crowded with merchandise that it's hard to maneuver. Add in people and it's hard to get around the store. Very frustrating when you just want to get in and out. Nonetheless, we got exactly what we came for and were happy with the cost.

As I stood in line for the refund the line grew to about five people waiting for the cashiers. One cashier was lining this gift box with paper two different ways and then cut all the tags off of every single item and there were a few and then tucked in the other tags that didn't have prices on them and then put them all nice and neatly in the box and basically turn keyed a customers baby gift for someone outside the store. Mind you the elderly lady had a capable assistant, I think a granddaughter who was college age that absolutely could've helped her fix that box. I don't think that if an elderly person actually has help with them that you should take over the whole process making five other people wait 20 minutes until you finish wrapping her gift for her with her assistant right beside her. As soon as that woman and her niece walked away a new cashier came up and started helping. So basically she saw the line, she saw her building presence for other people and she still just stayed back in the back room not helping. Terrible customer service, bad form, that's not their job to put together a shower gift for a person when you have a line of five or more people waiting and you were the only cashier. It was ridiculous and I know that in these times that things have definitely changed but professionalism, it's not that hard, you can do it!!

One jacket was too big when I tried it on him, so I removed the tag but kept it with me, along with the receipt. Since these are winter clothes and the size was clearly too large, I wouldn't be able to use them anytime soon. When I went to return the items, the sales associate, Shaneen, told me the jacket could not be returned because the tag had been removed, even though I had the tag and the receipt with me. The interaction felt rude and unhelpful. She eventually said she would process the return "this time," as if she were doing me a favor, and even mentioned that I could speak to her manager, Kristen. She also did not review my receipt and refunded me based on the current sale price instead of the price I originally paid, which meant I received less money back. , I've been a longtime customer and have purchased many items from Janie and Jack.
