I was so excited to see Nordstrom Rack opened in this part of town. I remembered last time I shopped at the Rack was over 25 years ago in Honolulu. Time has changed. I have been more self aware of my appearance. I needed a wardrobe update since I became single over 2 years ago. I stopped by on my day off this Tuesday. It was a pure curiosity because of the balloon arch at the entrance. Me and my friend walked in and greeted by several employees. There were music and refreshments at the entrance and throughout the store. The store is well organized and OMG there's a huge selection of men's clothing at reasonable prices. I ditched Kohls, Marshall and Ross for Nordstrom Racks. I would never shop at those stores for clothes again. I bought a real leather belt and a Tommy Hilfiger t shirt on my first day. I went back to buy a hoochie daddy shorts. Hehehe. I joined the Nord Club to receive rewards. Because I know I'll be shopping here for all kinds of things. Went to the shoe section asked them if they had my size they didn't. So walked around and picked up a few more things. Went in to try and my daughter stayed sitting on the couch then walked in the fitting room and told me "mom they're talking about you". I said really! Did u hear anything? She said not really but I know for sure they're talking about u. She could tell. Anyways. I said it's ok. We're just hanging out baby. So walked out I chose 2 clearance items to buy. Paid $66 and they gave me a HUGE PLASTIC trash bag. I said wow can I have that smaller bag hanging on the wall? They said no u cant. I said well can I have that plastic bag on the shelf behind the counter they said no. Because I bought only clearance items so I get this huge trash bag instead of a regular boutique bag. Wow!! I said ok wow then I left and my daughter grabbed the bag from me and she held it because she didn't want me to be embarrassed walking out with that huge plastic trash bag. Since it's largely regional, most of all Texas pro sports and universities will be available. I found the following teams represented here: University of Houston LSU Texas A&M Sam Houston State Texas State Astros Dallas Cowboys Overall, the selection is very decent and they have fitting rooms in the back. The store still feels fairly new, and the staff has been great with helping find the perfect item and professional the whole time. I believe that the business has gotten so big that it has become disorganized and disconnected. For example, I made an order and planned to pick it up. When I went to the store to pick it up, I was told that it had been shipped instead. A week went by and nothing. I reached out to the business and got no response for 3 days. Finally, they responded and said it hasn't been shipped yet but will be. I waited another week and heard nothing again. I reached out again, and this time it took even longer. At this point, they said it would be shipped again. Three days later, I got my package, but it was missing one item. I messaged again, and at this point they told me they had lost the item. I definitely feel that if I hadn't been persistent, my order never would have arrived and no one would have ever told me about my "lost" item. When I attempted to express my disappointment, I got an insincere apology, and they were completely fine when I said I was questioning continuing business with them. We had planned for a week to have my consigned items picked up, and now, at 7:45 the night before, they are telling me I cannot come. I highly do not recommend doing business with First Dibs. They do not communicate, they are dishonest, and they are not genuine.

I wasn't sure how I was being forgotten. She eventually made eye contact with me and after she realized I was looking at her, she said "Omg I'm so sorry, let me go check on that for you".
