I will say the aesthetic of the store may look like another overpriced black and white featured store but once in you'll find that yes it's mostly black and white but some hidden colors. I will say with one pet peeve of mine is there is no one to greet you or someone walking to ask if you need assistance. That seems to be most of the stores here in cherry creek. Also one plus the clothing is inexpensive though I find their clothes run small. read more

The cashier was cracking up and chatting in Spanish, while taking another 10 minutes to ring up my 3 items. Honestly think she was trying purposely to be slow. There was 15 mins left to closing but the employee RUDELY pointed and wagged her finger and was verbally being so rude to exit the building to my daughter because "the store was closed", when there was still time to shop. Legit the only Zara for hundreds of miles so we get what we get, I guess! I stopped by on an early afternoon during COVID looking for a new jacket for work. The time on the door versus the actual open time was very different. I walked around for a good 45 minutes (waiting 15 min until after their open time) and it never opened! Why have a multitude of fitting room stalls if you are only going to have 3-4 open (while a line of 10-12 people wait...) I'm done shopping here. I was at the mall today with my children purchasing an outfit for each one of my daughters with my wife. we purchased one outfit which was a top and the bottom and a sweater for my oldest kid. we paid for the items and the clerk put them in the bag. When we left the store, the alarm went off. we stopped and just assumed that it that they just forgot to disable a sensor. We walked 30 feet and were accosted by two employees. One of them didn't speak English, and just kept pointing at her phone pointing at our bags. she was on my children and I said what is your problem? What is the situation here and why are you harassing my kids? The manager said there was an item in the bag that was not paid for. People were staring at us like we had stolen something. It was completely embarrassing, and it was because the counter clerk was on his phone instead of helping us and focused. obviously he grabbed the sweater and threw it in the bag without ringing it up and without removing the sensor. instead of apologizing and saying hey, we made a mistake. We're sorry that we have an issue here. Let's correct it. They called security.!!!!!!!!!! My wife produced the receipt and showed them that we had paid for the items and obviously the idiot behind the counter didn't ring up the sweater and didn't take the sensor off. What I wanna know is how the hell is that our fault???? the manager should be fired As Should the idiot behind the counter. The girls who were working the dressing rooms on 7/14 around 4:30-5pm should definitely be talked to by their managers for a complete lack of customer service. I was barked at to "put my clothes back over there" instead of the associate taking it from me "did these work for you today?" I had so much stuff in my hands my shoes dropped and the staff member looked as If I stepped on her newborn baby. She glared at me and visibly rolled her eyes at me. I said, "I'm sorry?" After being glared at-- A man in line saw it and we both were shocked by her attitude. If she was having a bad day she should've called out of work instead of rudely going out of her way to make a customer feel uncomfortable. These girls should take a trip to Aritzia, see how kind those girls are in their dressing rooms which are JUST AS BUSY. Won't be back to this store. read more

0 STARS I made a purchase at another Zara location while on vacation. After returning to Colorado, I decided I wanted to take back a few things. I drove 55 mins from Fort Collins to the Cherry Creek location for only one errand, Zara returns. The girl helping with my return didn't acknowledge me until she bluntly asked if I had worn a garment. I was embarrassed for how wrinkled the silk shirt was but explained that the items had been crammed in my luggage. Aside from the wrinkles all tags were attached and the item she was referring to was in perfect condition. It was a white silk shirt. If worn, bronzer surely would have been visible on the collar. She further inspected the item and said she couldn't accept the return because a small tag on the inside was missing. She asked me again if I wore the item. I asked her why I would wear a semi see through shirt and keep the large tags attached but only remove one small tag that has washing instructions. I was never aware of an inside tag, probably because it wasn't there when I purchased the item. She told me that it was store policy and she couldn't return the item. Of course I asked for the manager. The manager was a stone cold b****. She told me the same as the girl originally helping me, "it's store policy, we cannot accept your return". She told me I needed to call customer service to get the issue resolved. This manager gave the impression that she gets off on these types of situations. There was no sympathy for my situation. I told her I drove almost an hour to get there with this one errand. I wish I had her name. When I asked her for it, she told me "it was store policy that she was not allowed to give her name for safety concerns". I wanted her name so I could let customer service know who I was speaking to in-store. It also would have been nice to include in this review. A note for Zara: If all tags (including those maybe not apparent to customers who only see price tags as a legit tag and only tag necessary to return) must be on a garment when returning, then sales associates should be required to inspect each item at purchase to ensure that a return would be accepted if needed. The likely case is that I purchased a "damaged" item without my knowledge because a smaller inside tag was missing. I reached out to customer service and they were very kind but I still don't know how my situation will be resolved. As of now, I'm stuck with a $50 item that by the way have NEVER worn aside from trying on in store (at the San Diego location). The Cherry Creek location's dressing rooms are closed still? Of course this was a thing at pretty much every store during the early days of COVID but every other store EXCEPT ZARA has reopened their fitting rooms. Because of this, the line for the register is especially long with people returning things. Literally never come here if you're in any sort of time crunch. Even on mall "off hours" like maybe between 2-4 (?), the line to check out is never less than 10 minutes long. The longest I've ever waited in line was over half an hour. Rumor is that they purposely only ever have 1-3 people working the registers SO THAT the line gets long and the store looks bustling, creating hype. & CAUTION: if you have a return, you can only return it downstairs. Went upstairs to return, stood in line for 15 minutes, and then had to re wait in line downstairs another 15 minutes (literally) because they don't do returns upstairs. Much prefer to shop Zara online as the line is truly a giant waste of time. read more

I never leave reviews, but I downloaded this app specifically to say this store is run by some of the most miserable, nasty, rude people I have ever encountered. I (finally) got into a fitting room and, when I tried to give the attendant the pants that didn't fit me, the girl just started at me and said nothing. At this point, retail workers usually say something like "how did those work out?", but nothing, so I awkwardly said, "these didn't work, sorry" and again tried to hand her the pants. The girl rolled her eyes at me. Like a child. I finally go to check out and return a shirt that didn't fit. After waiting 15 minutes for them to check out 2 people in front of me, I approach the counter and say, "Hello! I'm going to purchase this top and return this one", sitting it down on the counter with my receipt. This girl, again, says nothing and stares at me as if I had just committed a horrific crime. So I say "....the receipt is right there..." at which point she says, disgustedly, "returns go to THAT line". Apparently there were two lines and I had selected the wrong one. So I said ok, I'll just buy the shirt then. She says, "I'll do it THIS time, just go to the right line next time". How hard would it be to say from the start, "for future reference, there is another line for returns", if you were going to do it anyway? Everyone has bad days. I was having a bad day and still managed to smile and be polite despite the employees at this store looking as if they wanted to physically harm me for simply existing. Moral of the story: Perhaps reconsider a career in retail if you have the disposition of a roided-out linebacker. I hear the DMV is hiring, ladies. read more

The experience I had at this Zara store on 1/19/2021 was the absolute worst customer service I've had in my entire life. I asked for the managers name twice to confirm her name and she said "Tara" or "Tessa" and rudely said " I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT!" What kind of manager speaks to a customer like that? Not only did she continually cut me off while I was speaking, her tone and demeanor the whole time was VERY condescending. So I purchased two items online and the next day both my items dropped in price; the price difference was about 60 dollars each item. Who wouldn't want to save money? So I called corporate and they told me that they unfortunately they do not do price adjustments-- but I can take my items into the store and they can refund it and I can buy it back. On Friday, 1/15/21, I did just that. I had no problems doing so with the first item. The associate was very pleasant and she actually was happy that I saved so much money. She told me that I was her happiest customer. I didn't return the second item because it was inside a huge box, the line was very long and I was on my lunch break. So thinking nothing of it, I told myself I would come back another day to return the second item. Fast forward to today, 1/19/21, I return to Zara and go straight to the checkout to proceed with my return. The sales associate says that she cannot return my item and sell it back to me as my item needs to quarantine for 24 hours. On top of that, she states that they cannot put the jacket on hold for me. At this point I'm flabbergasted. Days prior I returned my item and repurchased it with no problem, now all of a sudden it's against company policy? However, corporate was the one who instructed me to do just that! So the sales associate calls the manager and from the word go, the lady was rude! I explained to her that I was in her store days ago and I returned an item and repurchased it with no problem. She said, well they weren't supposed to do that and I'm not going to do that. Then I told her, well can I call corporate since they were the ones who instructed me to return it in store and buy it again? She rudely said, "Sure, but you need to move because you can't hold up my line!" I kept telling how rude she was and she didn't care, she just kept laughing. It's pretty sad how pathetic this lady was. When I told the manager that if I return the coat and come back in 24 hours -- it might be gone, she simply said "Well that's the risk you take." No empathy, nothing, just a rude old lady. I didn't want to return the jacket at this store because at this point, I wanted to walk out of that store and never return. I will never shop at Zara at Cherry Creek ever again. It's unfortunate that there are no other Zara's in the state of Colorado- but luckily I am just visiting from Los Angeles. The worst Zara ever. Love the Zara in Chicago. They are friendly and helpful. Not this Zara. There is never any associates working on the floor. I have waited in 30 minute lines with one miserable cashier working. When I inquired about calling for back up cashiers she told me to call the number on my receipt and speak to a manager. I did try that, called about a dozen times today, they refuse to answer the phone. So whomever the manager is at this store, this falls on you. I even called the mall office and they said good luck getting a phone call answered. I understand this is fast fashion, but you could have some customer service to go with it. Because of COVID they have the fitting rooms close forcing you to buy a item and try home. My wife lost the recipe in one item that she did not like how it fits. This store is so disappointing. It's a complete mess with makes it difficult to shop. Employees don't acknowledge you or ask you if you need help. Lines for the fitting room and cash wrap are super long. Yesterday I was there right at 11 and the second story entrance wasn't open yet which wasn't a huge deal but just felt uninviting and sloppy. Then, once I had picked out an armful of things I wanted to try I on I realized the dressing room was blocked off. I asked an employee at the cash wrap if the fitting rooms were closed and she said that they were understaffed so the fitting rooms were closed for the day. This is just ridiculous and unacceptable. Not sure why Zara has a low star review. It could be based on the super long check out lines but the clothing is cool, hip, and unique. I would say it's like a merger of K&G and H&M with a little more variety and more international swag attire. Seems like decent sales for certain items are year around. Shopping for men's evolving trends is hard in Denver. Either you have conservative apparel or teen apparel. Therefore I love Zara for men. Having shopped at other locations I know you HAVE to try on EVERYTHING and make sure you LOVE what you get. This is fast fashion so they don't take a liking to returns or exchanges. (Who wants to buy someone else's returns) I don't return or exchange much of anything I buy so that's not a problem for me. The men's area is usually divided between sporty, business, and ultra trendy with accessories merchandized in. Also, sizes run smaller so it's perfect for me and the so-so service is fine since I like being left alone while shopping. Compared to other Zara's I've been to this one is new, clean, and well organized. Since it's the only store for several states around it's my own little shopping oasis. read more

Maybe I have become a snob but honestly I get better service from TJ Maxx. I saw a cute shirt upstairs and came in and wanted to try it on. After searching aimlessly for a fitting room the only employee upstairs (who was in the back working in the kids dept) pointed me to some elevators. I went to try on my selections and the girl manning the fitting room turned away from me and started talking and I couldn't tell if she was talking to me. A bunch of other people passed me and walked into unused rooms so I followed suit. There was no where to hang anything up and when I came out and asked if the shirt I liked was located downstairs so I didn't have to go back upstairs to get another shirt she rolled her eyes and walked away. On June 28th, 2023 I went to Zara, located at cherry creek mall at 5:10 to make two returns NO. Xxxxx (2 items on sale) and NO. Xxxx (2 items full price). The first cashier said I needed to do the line for returns and exchanges and lost 20 minutes waiting on line (that woman most likely didn't know how to do it). After another 20 minutes waiting, she gets replaced by the most competent employee ( ginger hair man) who helped the most inefficient cashier I had seen in any store in the US and started to do returns because this Hispanic woman, that barely spoke and understood any English barely could handle exchange and returns. I explained not once but multiple times that I needed to return two purchases made online. 2 items full price and another 2 items on sale. She took the order number only, for the half priced,(not the e-receipt) and swore she made a return, took the two clothes and added the chip. After that she tried doing the second return for the full price items, of course she got confused and had to call her supervisor who asked me for the e-receipt and made the return for the 2 full priced items. I told the supervisor this cashier DID NOT asked for the e-receipt for the half priced items and he asked the cashier, not me if she did the return and she said yes. I told him she didn't used the e-receipt and both confirmed the return was made. Then this overpaid store manager left me dealing with this cashier that had no clue what she was doing. When she said she did everything, I asked her for the return confirmation receipt and with her broken English said that I should have a confirmation over email (I saw the other employee give another person a return receipt) When I checked my email, oh surprise, she DID NOT made the return on the half priced items., so she had to remove the chip from the clothes and use the e-receipt to make the return.... Sure! That sounds that this employee pretends to be a royal imbecile that barely speaks English and is stealing not only from your customers but your store. You can even confirm that the first return should had been for the two half priced but was done last. If I hadn't asked for that confirmation I would have walked out the store without proof of my return, and end up dealing with something worse, arguing that i needed my refund but no clothes to return because of this thief. I went to Denver, from Colorado Springs, to make this return, but I'll never go back again. Don't want to deal with thieves and low class customer service. Both the store manager, and that cashier should be fired and replaced by the ginger hair man as store manager. read more
