Clothes strewn everywhere.
Robert S.

It's a jumbled hot mess of clothing in a store about half the size it needs to be to handle the Michigan Ave tourists. Yes, the clothes are cheap and comparable to H&M (which is right across the street) in quality and style. The Men's department is ridiculous. Clothes strewn around everywhere, no coordination of styles, empty soda and beer cans littered display stands on two separate visits, and everyone is bumping into each other. Service in the Men's department is non-existent because the ONE salesperson I saw is hurriedly trying to fold and hang all the crap dumped everywhere. It's like this every time I visit this location. This is NOT the Zara experience I had at their Old Orchard store, where the clothing is displayed elegantly, organized, and people actually greet you and ask if you need help. This Mich Ave location is an embarrassment to the brand.

I've shopped at this Zara location on Michigan Ave. twice during my visit to Chicago, spending nearly $500 between the two days, and my experience with Carlos in management was disappointing. I found an item that was incorrectly tagged, brought it to a sales rep (who was very kind), and then asked management if they could honor the price. Carlos confirmed it was the last item in the store but refused to honor it, and his attitude was unnecessarily rude. For a large corporation like Zara, I expect better customer service, especially for loyal, paying customers. To make matters worse, you can't even call individual stores anymore; you must visit in person to speak with someone or call a general customer support line. Overall, poor customer service and not worth my continued business at Zara.

08/08/23 located on N. Michigan. This Zara is quite small and expensive here. Not much selections. Crew was nice. Happy shopping!

Big store. Lots of options. My daughter loves this place. Next time, I need to go shopping here and buy something for myself! She found severalties that look totally adorable on her. We strategized. We had my niece stand on line while she was trying on things and then when we went out of the dressing room, it was time to check out. (I needed to use the ladies room so they recommended going to Saks two blocks down, but I ended up in TMobile next door since I had to get the screen fixed on my phone). They do have a few levels so you can find things here but you need patience! (They have a small mens dept, by the way as well).

Cute hats. $15.90 though? yikes!

You should absolutely come here if you have nothing to do but waste your time. This store is...horrendous, to put it lightly. I came in on a Friday knowing exactly what I wanted. A knit hat for my nephew. When I got to the second floor kids section, the line was all the way backed up to the escalator with one cashier. I thought, that's fine, there's only 15 people ahead of me. Granted, I know the weekends are busy and the experience was in December, but we didn't experience anything like this at any of the other stores we visited on Michigan Ave and downtown. Anyway, I figured we'd wait 10 minutes tops. We were in this line for a HALF HOUR. These employees have zero respect and absolutely no sense of urgency. They literally work backwards, not slow motion. When I finally get to check out my one hat, I was completing payment when the employee said "wait, no! Hit cancel hit X, cancel". I'm thinking oh my gosh, what happened?? Especially since the payment went through quickly. I asked the employee what's going on because she just ended up giving me my hat and receipt as if nothing happened. She said "I was trying to take the sensor off". So what that told me is she was so upset it only took a total of six seconds to check me out. She was so upset she had to continue ringing up customers who have also waited 30 or so minutes in line. I wasn't even shocked at this point, grabbed my hat and left. Their corporate office needs to get here and figure things out. I've heard awful things about this company anyway. If the hat wasn't on a Christmas list, I'd never step foot here. They need to just get rid of Zara altogether but I'm terrified that these employees will spread their laziness at a favorite store of mine. So maybe Zara is just best left alone as a lazy, incompetent, inefficient, low-quality holder of all things because the only person that's actually ever working is the security guard who's only concerned about mask placement so that's absolutely irrelevant.

The manager there is so Rude I went to the store and I bought 9 shirts and because the don't have enough employees the fitting rooms are closed. So after 2 days I went to return 2 shirts and I have the 9 shirts with me and the Receipt I find out that they have the annual sale and all the shirts 49$ to 25$, I asked the register if I can return them and buy them for the new price she said (ok if you find the same shirts with the red tag )Which is the $25 I went to give her the shirts that the same ones that I bought with the sale tag and when I was standing for the Register to give her the items The manager came to me and in a rude way she said (we do not do adjust price ) I didn't even talk to her , she heard the conversation between me and the Register

The owners (husband and wife) deserve an award for exemplary customer service! My daughters 5 & 1 were having their first photo shoot together. I saw that the new collection of Moschino dresses would be perfect for the Valentine's Day themed shoot. I typically work up until about 5-8pm so I was unable to get to the boutique before closing. I expressed to them my frustration, how sad I was, and how I NEEDED those dresses and they actually met me near my job a good 30-35 min ride from the boutique to personally deliver the dresses! The tshirts on the front table were so soft. Made out of Pima cotton and they don't shrink. I couldn't stop touching the soft material. The sizing is in numbers. A 4 was what I ended up selecting for my son which is a medium. The items are pricey but I wanted something unique for him and I thought he'd like the design. There are polos, hats, long sleeve and short sleeved tshirts, swimwear, shorts, loungewear and underwear. They have big and tall sizes and xxs. Women's, men's and kids styles. The brand started in New York and projects a unique energy and spirit. The company is committed to using the best materials and craftsmanship. If you need a cool vibe clothing item, I'd recommend them. While there are not that many actual store locations, the products are sold at retailers across the US and online. After being washed his tshirt still felt smooth and soft. The prices are higher end but they sure do feel good.

First of all I thought we were shopping at Nordstrom and as we entered the building I noticed various small shops one after another and said that this Nordstrom is like a mall....here we are The Shops at North Bridge right in the midst Magnificent Mile of Chicago. There are multi-levels filled with various shops and it seems to be not in but connected to Nordstrom as the dividing section seems to be the Jellycat and E Bar. There are escalators along with directory is provided though at the moment they seem to be under construction but getting around has not changed but just finding some of the shops was more the issue for me personally since I don't know the area well but with a bit of luck did find Royce Chocolate which is one of my favorite bougie treat that I shop for in Japan is a great find that I'm thrilled about. Looked like a mall with potential with many options and stores with Nordstrom as the anchor. I did se great deals and sales displayed. The restrooms are spacious and clean and saw many seating or rest areas to relax and enjoy as you walked the mall and many charging stations available. It's not clear exactly what renovations or construction was taking place but scaffolding took over the entire mall making it harder to navigate and ruined the esthetics and vibe of what the mall has to offer in my opinion!

Most of their clothes are for children older than mine but they did have a few things. It's definitely expensive, though, so I don't know that I'd buy a lot here. I did buy some very cute barrettes for my baby (I've found it hard to find some that don't have pieces attached to them, and I don't want pieces that might pull off) and I'll probably purchase more at some point. I have to update my review... I find their events system REALLY frustrating. Like... where are…read morethese events they advertise? The current issue is that they've advertised something on their Instagram, and they don't have a link to this particular event on their Instagram page. I asked a couple times before getting a response about where to find the event, and was told it's on the website. But the events section (which is at the bottom of the page, called Community Events in the small print where you usually look for contact info) has events from nine months ago because when I clicked on one that said April, it said that the event is completed. It should not be this damn hard to find events that they're advertising weeks in advance, nor having to ask multiple times a few days apart to get some sort of help. I had to use the search function to find the event, and that was successful only because I knew the name of it; if I was trying to browse what events they were hosting I would have been out of luck. They have a lot of good things going for them, but it's simply ridiculous that this is so difficult when literally any other company that hosts events has some sort of easily found, top-level link to them for people to find. When I finally did find the event and went to sign up, there's no time listed so I had to go back to Instagram to find it... make it make sense.

While I can't speak to the events issues the one other review mentioned, I'll note that this is an independent, local children's shop that also hosts events - so while I hear the frustration, I'd suggest that event registrations/website sign-up issues shouldn't be the main basis for which they're judged.
