Staff working the fitting room is rude and unhelpful. Definitely not going back. ZARA you lost a customer.

*SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING * I am writing this review in disbelief,today i had to experience two employees being mistreated by who i assume is the store manager.I am angry at myself for not approaching this manager myself but once again i was in disbelief at what i observed! I don't think i can even describe it but what i saw was this store manager be demeaning by shooing two employees away and on one the occasions from where i was standing it appeared that this manager "gently" push an employee away with her forearm and once again shooed the employee away ! I can see how uncomfortable the employees were when the store manager will come near and when i approached an employee to ask for the lady's name she informed me that they were not allowed to share the name ! I was able to speak to another manager in the men's section to share what i observed but again i was not provided with the information! However i was not going to leave without getting the name because what i saw was unacceptable and it made me upset and uncomfortable!! i could only imagine what the employees feel ! Nonetheless, i stayed around until i was lucky to overhear this lady's name which is BRiE ! this lady was wearing all black black with a white furry vest and short hair not passing her chin! i will be calling the store tomorrow but i wanted to write this in real time because as i write this i am still upset at how this lady BRIE was with the employees and IT IS NOT RIGHT! she should not be a manger if she cannot be approachable or respectable to her employees! *AGAIN THE RATING IS NOT ABOUT THE SERVICE BUT ABOUT THE MANAGER BRIE* I WISH I CAN RATE HER A 0* read more

Zara here better than in South Coast Plaza, they not too crowd, the line may long but we can get in faster than over there. My review is in regards to the service received on Tuesday, April 11th. We came in at around noon. It wasn't too busy as it was a weekday. I want to use this review as an opportunity to thank the young man who works at Zara. His name is Jaelyn (apologies for most likely writing his name incorrectly). He was incredibly helpful at the self checkout booths. He was patient with every question I asked and thoroughly explained the self checkout process. He made the self checkout experience (which was new to me at this particular Zara) go by smoothly. His professionalism and friendliness was very much appreciated. read more

This is the worst costumer service I've received. I felt discriminated, I was over charged and when I brought it to their attention they literally treated me as if I was a criminal. Meanwhile there were others who were clearly shoplifting and they literally didn't do anything about it. Yet with me they went through my entire bag, checked each item and even made a comment about hiding the sensors in the pockets smh ... Terrible customer service. Won't let me return or exchange pants I bought less than a week ago that exploded at the seams due to the cheap threading. Refers me to a phone number that doesn't work and then tells me to use the website. Store is a scam with horrible customer service that won't let you return or exchange because it appears "worn" even though it's brand new (6 days ago) while having the receipt. Never spending a dime with this brand ever again. 50 dollars for 1 dollar quality that doesn't last 10 minutes without falling apart. This place has been getting a bad rap for the terrible long wait in lines for purchase and/or returns for YEARS and there has not been any changes today. If Zara knows they're going to have a big sale, they should at least accommodate the customers by having proper staff and additional ways of checking out. Coz the 4 registers have obviously not been working for years. Maybe try a different Zara location. Not sure how the others are but this one is pretty ridiculous. This store continues to disappoint. I have been a luxury retail manager for over seven years. The way this store has been run is completely UNACCEPTABLE. For years (yes, years) this store has been UNDERSTAFFED. If you find something you like, expect to wait 20 MIN MINIMUM TO PAY for the product. All registers are never open. Most of the time 2 out of 6 are. It's like they want their paying customers to become irritated by the time they leave the store. Fitting rooms are constantly closed yet the store is always a mess. Poor customer service, horrible staffing....Line is always long. 3 register stations but never open. Kids and Men's section register are almost never open. Women's section is always a mess. Product sensors are always placed on the wrong part of the clothing, ends up leaving a hole each time I bought clothes. I end up going back in line just to return items after seeing all the holes caused by sensors. Extremely expensive unrealistic price tags for such quality you get. Obviously, this has been stated multiple times based on all the reviews on yelp, so it's clear that you're not doing anything about it. I presume your rebuttal to this is that "we're short on staff because of the lack of sales." Hmm...I don't think there's a lack of sales when the line is always 589235982389523 yards long. Re-open the lines at the men's section to reduce the long lines. You guys can also do a better job stating when you have your fitting rooms open. There' seen occasional times where one day it's open, one day it's not for no apparent reason. Lines are horrendous!! 3 associates on the sales floor in men's section and only 1 cashier. Women side is even worse. Inquired about getting a second cashier to help with line and sales rep stated management only puts one register in!! This is my second and last time shopping here. Oh Zara! Such a love/hate relationship with this store. I LOVE your products. Always up to date with trends and in a decent price range. And compared to other ones, this one isn't as chaotic.. But man, the LINES!! Even before the pandemic, lines were always crazy and it always seems like there's no sense of urgency at the register. I understand you can't rush for accuracy, but this is a problem. More attention needs to be focused on providing better service to your customers. Yes they are understaffed. Yes they're overworked. But overall we are in a pandemic and they're in a sale. After working long hours they were courteous enough to allow me into the store right before closing time. They exchanged my items and patiently waited while my APPLE ID card wasn't going through. Ordered something and chose delivery instead of in store pickup. My mistake because it has now turned into the worst experience. I have been waiting for days passed my expected delivery date. Contacted the delivery company who says they lost the package. Told me to contact Zara, so i did. On the phone the customer service representative was rude and condescending. I asked for a supervisor and he said no. Kept telling me that's not possible, no i'm not going to transfer. Called again, different worker, same response. Used online chat and am told it's still in transit and to wait 48hrs. I said i have the email proof from the delivery company that they lost it, was still told to wait another 48hrs. Either the employees lack common sense or they're just flat out lazy for not putting up a simple standing sign that says "Online Order Pick Up" in front of the connecting entrance to the kids section. I had to wait more than 15 minutes in line at the ladies clothing section and when it was my turn, the employee said I had to go to the register at the kids section to pick up my online order. Honestly, I was pissed because I wasted more than 15 minutes in line when this could've been easily addressed with a sign that leads customers to the kids section for online orders. They could put one standing sign near the main entrance and one at the connecting entrance to the kids section. Woman went down at the register - passed out briefly and disoriented when she regained consciousness l. Staff did not call 911 but rather mall security. Yes, security that showed up 5+ minutes later with zero medical knowledge/equipment. Second security officer showed up with as much knowledge and a first aid kit. One of the worst experiences I ever had! Shopping on a Wednesday night where the shop closes at 9pm, I was told at 8:10pm that the line (in the mens dept was closed) and I had to go to the womens side to get in line , meanwhile all I was purchasing was a pair of mens shoes, BUT, as I stepped in line, I was immediately told that the line was closed and there was clearly a few people ahead of me, the gentleman that got in line at the exact time I did(different skin color than mine) was told "it's fine you can wait there" , and I asked "why do I have to go to the other slide", the reply "because the line is closed" I was so confused. I wanted to return an order I bought online because it came with a black stain on it and when I tried to return, the manager had told me that I couldn't return it because the clothing labels (the tag that's attached to the inside of the clothes with the material, etc) was cut off. The thing is....I had NEVER cut that off. It was missing since I've received the item. I'm pretty sure that they sent me an item that was previously returned by another customer because it even had a string of hair inside!! I told the manager that the label was never there to begin off with and that I had never cut anything off but she didn't care at all!! She just kept telling me that I couldn't make a return without that clothing label even tho the coat never even came with one?!?! I just wasted $200 only to receive a defected item and not being able to return it to get my money back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. For a store that sells $200 coats with good quality, I would expect a better quality service. Literally, I have better shopping experience with nicer customer service at Forever 21 lol. read more

I just started shopping at Zara again and remember why I stopped in the first place - the lines are horrendous. I don't dare shop here on the weekends. The few times I've gone on the weekdays during opening or after lunch, I've still had to wait at least 45 minutes. They should consider a separate area for returns since that seems to be what eats up the time here. I will never fathom why when they do returns, they must tag and hang everything in the process. It's is time consuming and inefficient. Order pickup, refunds, purchases - all the same line and all the same nightmare. Occasionally the kids section or mens open up their registers, but it's hardly the case. I spend more time here in line than I actually do shopping and when I think I want to make a purchase, the lines deter me. I don't see how Zara doesn't see this as a issue and a hindrance on making sales. read more
