entire rack of pants incorrectly marked
    Ayana H.

My husband and I decided to check out Zara, and at first glance, it seemed like women's items were downstairs and men's upstairs. Not finding anything of interest downstairs, I waited outside. After about 45 minutes, I went upstairs to look for my husband and discovered there was actually women's clothing there too. I found a pair of jeans I liked on a rack marked $35. However, at checkout, they scanned at $69. The cashier, a young man, was polite but said he needed a manager to adjust the price. The manager, a tall woman, came over but wasn't friendly at all. She didn't greet me or speak much. After I showed her a photo I took of the rack to prove the price discrepancy, she agreed to sell the jeans for $35 but made it clear that if I needed a different size, I'd have to pay full price. She didn't seem to acknowledge the store's mistake at all. So, I ended up with my $35 jeans, but the experience left a bitter taste due to the manager's attitude. Thanks for the discount, but a little courtesy would have been appreciated!

I always partial to Zara. Only because this brand is the only sanctioned knock off designer. I mean,, i guess they can since it's Zara right? So!! The shop... Its pretty well put together. Very well lit. Definitely easy on the eyes, specially when browsing for items that jumps out at me. I didnt really fancy anything so i bought a cologne instead. My shopping experience was wonderful. 4 stars. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!

This store is like H&M's evil twin LOL. They know their target demographic and they serve them well. I personally don't enjoy their clothing, but I do enjoy how much they know about their target demographic. I personally feel like the clothing isn't worth the price. They not only serve woman but men and children too. Staff weren't attentive or welcoming. Most weren't doing anything but patrolling the floor. Not sure if they have a theft problem, they sure didn't put customer service as a focus (at least that day) I spent a fair amount of time in this store to observe their routines. Staff would talk more amongst themselves than the customers. I believe Zara would sell a lot more due to staff walking customers through the culture of Zara, but if you're fish out of water, you have no idea what Zara has to offer without some type of research. I won't be back not because it was a horrible experience but because it isn't my thing.

What a mess...no workers in the men's area except a security guard. Found a salesperson in women's who was totally annoyed I had a question. Left immediately after seeing the condition of the store.

What most of the racks look like.

Once again, about 1/4 of the product was on the floor and the racks were half empty. What a total mess. The fitting rooms are still closed and the line is always backed up with people doing returns since they can't try on in store. Clothes are thrown everywhere. The employees are so rude.

However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

It's nearly identical to the Aurora Outlet mall back home in Illinois so navigating this building felt like I was back home. There weren't any outdoor vendors, maybe they'll be there in the summer. There was ample amount of parking and a great variety of stores where you could find half of them at the Mall of America itself. This mall is very clean without any riff raff from my visit here. If you're down to scrounge, this place might be for you (I'd just urge you to wash your hands after). That said, I specifically went here today because I needed a stapler. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

Cashier #2832756 (I did not catch her name) was ringing my purchase. I had my driver's license out and my credit card. As she was finishing my transaction, she gave me a confused look and asked me if I was military. I was confused, but answered 'no'. She told me she didn't need to see my driver's license. I told her the back of my credit card requests to check my ID. She told me, "We don't do that". Then she gave me the total of my sale, and I informed her there was a sign on the fixture that said the shirts were 30% off. We both walked over to the fixture with all the shirts towards the front of the store. She looked at the sign and a few of the shirts and told me, "It's 30% off clearance items, and none of these shirts are on clearance." We walked back to the cashwrap and finished my transaction. As I was leaving the store, there was another Old Navy employee standing at that same fixture, and I told him that sign was misleading. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. I don't know if the cashier was not trained properly to check shopper's IDs when their credit cards request that or if Old Navy truly has a policy not to check IDs. In today's world of fraud, that's troubling enough. And why have a sale sign on a fixture that does not have any sale items on it? Apparently Old Navy feels as if it's making enough money off of people that their employees don't feel like they need to provide any customer service. I choose to vote with my consumer dollars, and I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

If you need to go here to try things on (especially on the weekend) but forget about it. You will be waiting forever and if you need a different size it will take the staff forever to get it for you. The variety is good, the stock is good. In general, Aritzia clothing is amazing and I love it always, of course, it is a lil more on the expensive side, but in reality, you get what you pay for. I would rathe go to a different location than this one if I am being honest just because of how crowded it always seems to be.
