Our mechanic retired that we needed a TRUSTWORTHY HONEST REPAIRMAN & FOUND IT AT MIKE'S AUTO REPAIR…read morehere in Sun Prairie WI. He gave an extensive report & photos showing our 1999 JEEP could not be on the road anymore as I was going through a divorce having medical bills I was forced to keep my jeep functioning but sadly the WI SALT RUSTED the underside frame. Mike then helped inspect a VAN we were considering from a private owner to ensure it was a good safe vehicle for the price/milage vs price having more knowledge & experience than we do as previously I bought vehicles from dealerships but being disabled on fixed income I can't be stranded nor had money for any surprised repairs. This was so helpful to us to make sure we invested our money into a used van that will meet our needs for $6600. He gave us knowledge to handle this transaction with the title & checked so we were not scammed as we experienced looking for a used vehicle on CRAIGSLIST....that seller was lying that we caught them scared us because we are struggling it is SAD to almost be harmed that MIKE'S ASSISTANCE took away so much stress that is priceless when disabled, poor & suffering other issues. We gave a TIP he did not want to accept but we insisted telling him to buy lunch for his staff or give them each a $20 bill as I said his kindness helped us so much that he /staff needed a little treat. He is NOW OUR PERMANENT REPAIRMAN. We are suffering by Attorneys committing crimes to avoid liability that we have suffered deeply where Mike was an EARTH ANGEL SHOWING US HUMAN KINDNESS still exists. We moved to Sun Prairie after our trauma & always hearing wonderful things about Sun Prairie citizens.....has been 100% accurate being a BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY.

Precision Automotive Service has earned my business with all my vehicles permanently!!! During a…read moreroutine oil change, I was told by a "big box" automotive establishment that I needed a new wheel bearing on my vehicle along with a new tie rod, which would then mean the car would also need aligned. The quote was nearly $1,000. They also told me I needed a completely new exhaust... $$$! So, only living here in the Madison area a short time and not really knowing many people, I decided to see who else was around. I sent ten yelp requests for an estimate to local auto shops looking to get only the wheel bearing replaced on my car. I received five responses within a few days. Two told me cost with labor would be $500-$650 and two said they really "needed" to get my car in their shops and "up on a lift" to give me a price. The fifth response was Chris from Precision Automotive. Chris responded right away within a few hours, and a full day before the others, with a detailed estimate of the repair which would get me out the door for almost half what the other two quoted me! So, there's no doubt where I chose. Upon leaving my car, I asked Chris to take a look at my tie rods and my exhaust. Not only did Precision live up to their quote, they told me that my tie rod was completely fine and did not need replaced and that an alignment was not necessary, only misdiagnosed due to the bearing being bad and the inexperience of proper diagnosis. Chris also told me that I didn't need a complete exhaust replacement, only that the pipe before my muffler had a hole in it and that was all that needed replaced and could be done for a tiny fraction of what I was quoted. So, not only did Precision get me out the door for nearly half the next best quote, they saved me from three unnecessary repairs! And not only did they do that, they got me to work (twenty minutes away) and back by lunch with the repair completed and my car ready to go! Before I drove away, I asked for a quote on a new front control arm needed for my mini-van and Chris, without hesitation, quoted me half what I was told at another locally owned auto shop! As I drove away, I noticed that my car wasn't making any grinding noises, the steering wheel wasn't vibrating and had no additional play, and my car wasn't pulling to the side when I broke! My car drove perfectly again. Precision went above and beyond, not only with pricing and a sound repair, but with customer service and honesty. They have earned my business and my loyalty. Moral of the story... I won't take my cars anywhere else again, and I absolutely and very highly recommend them for any service you need on yours!
