I was surprised by the speed and their quality. It's great to know honestly the situations of my vehicle with a detailed report. I would say they have a very fair price too. My car door was severely damaged leaving the door unable to close. It left the door with a huge gab with rain and car wash water sipping through into the car. The side mirror's cover was also damaged in the process and the owner (Tom) who owns this shit hole and his daughter who both runs it denied responsibility, claiming that the car was damaged after hours when the car was parked outside. Do not take your vehicle to this place, they are inexperienced, unprofessional, lacks customer service with general environment very unkept. I decided the old dealership route of fixing the vehicle was not working well, so after a recommendation from a local person who had been around for year, I decided to make the change. My first visit to Wright's went about as well as could be expected...sort of. After wondering where the heck can I park my car due to a lot full of "spare parts" vehicles? and such I found a spot and went in. The people inside were friendly and very helpful. The price was great and I did not feel overcharged at all. Very honest and trustworthy (my problem turned out to be something simple caused by the dealership); they could have overcharged me as I was prepared for the worst, but they did not. The woman I spoke to me on the phone was very friendly and helpful. She fit me into their busy schedule for a free estimate. I took my car in on Friday and had the best experience! Tom was very kind and explained everything to me. I will be saving thousands of dollars! I also loved the vibe of the place. I grew up around people who loved to work on cars, so the place felt a little like home to me. They have all sorts of family photos on the walls and I got a kick out of the taxidermy. My daughter was on a long road trip on a Friday afternoon and her car was losing power as she drove near Madison. She called me and asked what to do, and based on the Yelp reviews I directed her to Wright's. Tom and Angela were very kind to her, and even though they were booked solid they worked on her car Friday night and Saturday, diagnosed and fixed her vacuum leak and had her back on the road in less than 24 hours. My son is a student at The University of Wisconsin. As is always the case in life, things happen at the worst time. My son's battery died and he needed a new alternator for his Honda Civic. Prior to my first major servicing, I visited a couple of mechanics to get a quote. Tom and Derek are really awesome. They kept to their appointment time and were very upfront and honest with me about what needed to be done immediately and what could hold off for a bit. They even took down and showed me the parts which were wearing off etc. In addition, the price they quoted has always been very reasonable and super competitive. Business is very good there. They don't have the biggest workshop around town, but their turnaround time is awesome. They get most repairs done the following day. When you show up to collect your car they will show the parts that they replaced, if you like, they would even let you take your old parts home as souvenirs! Since my first visit I have always gone to them for my regular maintenance check-up and oil changes. I have recommended them to many friends at work and couldn't recommend them more. read more

I had them replace a transmission for me and one of the techs "david" was working on my vehicle and took better care of my vehicle than I would my own he made sure I was followed up on the progress of the repair and made sure it was done right!!
