ZAP Electric = AWESOME! I needed ceiling fans installed ASAP. Being a first time homeowner I had no idea where to start! I got a recommendation and I'm glad it was ZAP! The lighting in my home is weird. ALL of the lights are in the corners of the rooms so the electric had to be rewired to the center of the room and then the fans could be installed. I was hesitant at how much it would cost. I contacted Vaughn via text on a Saturday and they were out the next week. They came in and in less than 2 hours had the ceiling prepped, the electric moved, and the fans installed! And they even covered up the unsightly holes from the preexisting lighting!! Although some people on these reviews are frustrated because of the response time, I assure you that Vaughn and his team are amazingly creative and professional problem-solvers that make sure to communicate honestly and directly about all options you as the homeowner have regarding your electrical needs. Vaughn actually steered me away from spending unneeded money having a less expensive, cleaner way of getting what I needed!! How many times to you see that!! Yes, the response time can lag, but I have always assumed that is because they are so busy (because they are so good). These guys are truly AMAZING! After I contacted and had bad experiences with 3 other electricians for a hot tub hookup, I called these guys. They were prompt, very friendly, came out on Monday for a quote (I called them on Friday) and they performed our electrical hookup on our hot tub on Wednesday (just 2 days after our quote )! Price was very reasonable and their work was phenomenal. I needed a new electrical panel put in and Vaughn was more that happy to work with my crazy schedule to come out and do that for me. He went above and beyond when he stopped by a couple days later to fix a light in the garage that worked before panel install, but not after. Vaughn from Zap Electric was fast to respond. Texted a photo of the circuit panel to him and he came prepared with everything he needed to replace 4 breakers. Not only was he fast, he fixed the switch for the garbage disposal on his way out. Vaughn was knowledgeable, efficient, and charged very reasonable rates. Denis completed three small jobs for in the wake of a total replacement of our siding. He was courteous, efficient and able to solve a difficult problem with and exterior outlet after the siding replacement. I have used Zap a number of times for minor electrical repairs/fixture installations and for one large remodel project to install new "can" lighting in our kitchen/family room. Received excellent service from Zap. From the initial contact to the visit. The service rep Diego did an excellent job taping our weather head, and saved us a lot of money. The other electrician we contacted wanted to rip everything out and replace it all for around $2000, and leave us having to repair the hole they'd have to make in the wall to get to it. I called Zap and the message said they were out 2-3 weeks with jobs but if you could wait, to place an order on their website. I put in my request and 2 hours later was called by the owner. He listened and suggested a couple things for me to try to save me the cost of a electrician's visit. Like magic, my power was restored.
