They quickly identified the problem(s) and did the following work: 1) Installed a new attic fan 2) Found the source of the doorbell trouble and showed us how we could replace it with an inexpensive part from Home Depot. They were responsive, efficient and friendly. We would definitely use the services of RK Electric again!

The crew handled everything related to the residential electrical box for our hot tub flawlessly. From the detailed bid to scheduling a convenient time, they made sure every step was done to code and executed perfectly. The electricians clearly explained what they were doing and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. I also appreciated the convenience of the square mobile pad for easy credit card payment. They even scheduled the final inspection with the county around my availability. This was my first time using RK Electric, and it definitely won't be the last."

It was a complicated project: Journeyman Ramon and Apprentice Mason were diligent, clear and obviously skilled. They probably aren't any cheaper than other electricians, but I have complete trust in their work and recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Nick was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor who took the time to explain the problem and troubleshoot possible remedies. Because our home is 50 years old this year my husband and I expected that we would need to replace the breaker box. Nick checked it out and with a few tweeks said it was good to go. The electric situation was resolved and he showed us where we could have easily had an electrical fire since one of the grounding wires was melted and who knows how long ago that happened. Explained issues, always making sure we understood. I will definitely be using this company again.

My first experience with this company was great. Months later I needed a job done so I called and…read morethe receptionist gave me the email of Dan who I was supposed to contact for the job. I waited 10 days with no word back on the email from either Dan or the receptionist who I cc'd. So, I called back again and spoke to Chad. Chad said he would let Dan know so he could get back in touch with me. After waiting several more days with no word back, I called again and spoke to Chad again. Chad, once again said he would let Dan know to get in touch with me. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to about my experience and Chad informed me there wasn't technically a manager, but Dan was a co-owner and he would be the person to take this up with. The problem is I can never get ahold of Dan... I asked if I could talk to the other owner, Robert, and Chad said no and that he could not give his info out. As a business owner myself, the problem is obvious: broken systems of follow-up and communication + bad customer service. As a loyal client of this company I gave them multiple opportunities to at the very least respond back. Chad mentioned one of the reasons Dan may not have gotten back was because he may not have been interested in the job. I would have really liked to know that so I didn't waste so much time! Bottomline: very disappointed and frustrated with this group.

I also requested that an additional outlet be installed for my work bench as well. Reis quoted a reasonable price and was able to schedule me for the day and time I was available. I'm very pleased with the results! Give Reis a call. You'll be glad you did.
