I want to first say I've never hired this company. But if after the way I've been treated in past 3 days is any indication...well you decide! Monday while driving to work, early am, I was confronted with road rage (out of the blue) by a driver of Tice Electric. He almost ran me into an on coming semi truck and cement baracade. I called Tice Electric to file a complaint. The girl who kept answering the phone would transfer me to their so-called safety officers number. I've left several messages and no one has called me back. Would you rely on this company if you ran to issues?

Copy of my invoice. 1.5 hours and $300 to replace an outlet. Be aware

1.5 hours to replace an outlet. Was pleased with working with Tice until the bill came. While hiring an electrician will always be expensive this took the cake, 1.5 hours billed for a very simple task. Invoice attached for reference, quality work but be aware what you're getting into

The plug that he put in for my new dryer.

Guys were great for my small dimmer project: fast to respond, courteous, and friendly.

I found Winner Electric on Yelp search while looking for electricians in the east-of-Portland area…read more I needed an assortment of electrical issues addressed on my home. Open junctions, inoperable outlets and switches, questionable wiring, and unfinished projects: these are some of the trappings of owning an older home. Paul came out to do an estimate on our project. I had the project bid by multiple companies. Winner's attitude, willingness to take on the project, and prompt follow up with a quote earned them the job. We had a scheduling mishap, but I won't take stars off for that. It was resolved quickly. I am super happy with the work completed. The electricians came out and worked most of the day in all areas of my home. They replaced breakers, outlets, switches, and resolved loose and unsafe wiring that was downstairs and in my garage. Winner answered my questions, and if something didn't seem right, they worked together to find the root cause of the issue rather than applying a workaround. I was so happy with the work completed, that I hired Winner back a second time, a couple weeks later, to complete the wiring to an outbuilding and reconfigure the wiring in my garage. That work was largely completed Friday - waiting on a part to finish up a couple aspects, but I'm happy with this work as well. I would use their services again, and I would recommend to others.

I originally left a three-star review because I had concerns about the pricing and the way the…read morecredit-card fee was communicated. I want to update that review because Portland Metro Electric ultimately went above and beyond to address my concerns. I originally called because I was experiencing flickering lights and was concerned that several appliances seemed to be having problems at the same time. The electrician evaluated my electrical panel and did not find a problem with it. During the visit, he suggested adding a whole-house surge protector as an additional precaution, and I agreed to have it installed. Afterward, I had concerns about the $450 charge for the surge protector, as well as the fact that I wasn't informed about the 3% credit-card fee until I was ready to pay. I contacted the company and explained my concerns. The owner took my concerns seriously and ultimately provided a total adjustment of $450. I genuinely appreciate that he was willing to listen, work with me, and continue addressing the situation rather than simply dismissing my concerns. While I wasn't completely satisfied with the initial experience, I am very satisfied with how Portland Metro Electric ultimately handled my concerns. They demonstrated that they care about their customers and are willing to make things right when a customer feels something wasn't handled appropriately. I'm updating my review to five stars because of the way the company ultimately stood behind its service and worked with me to reach a resolution. I appreciate the professionalism and customer service they ultimately demonstrated.

They showed up on time, the technicians were friendly and knowledgeable, and they got everything done efficiently. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted. The price was a little higher than I'd hoped, but it felt fair for the quality of work and service I received. I'd rather pay a bit more and have it done right. Thanks to the team for making it such a good experience!

That's when we called Unity. Brian was out the same day. I regret not making them my first choice. They are transparent about pricing, keep you updated as the project goes along, and just overall very professional. Brian has about 20 years of experience and it shows. He was in and out of our house so fast. Even though the job was a bit more complicated, his expertise shinned. What took the other person (literally) 3 days, took Brian a total of 3 hours. He was intentionally trying to find ways to save me money on labor, which made me trust him. The company and Brian exhibit good character and integrity. This is now my go to company and Electrcian. Finding a reliable tradesman/company isn't always easy, and I'm thrilled to have found one.

I needed my panel reviewed and reworked because the plumber had told me my water heater was not on its own circuit and that concerned me. Brian came over for a consultation and I showed him around and all my concerns and how it would be nice to have more lighting in the kitchen since the condo is so dark and the kitchen is in the middle of the unit not near any windows. Brian and his apprentice were punctual, and they only took 2 days to do all the work that was needed. Brian is a gem of a human being, kind, patient, and very well educated. You can tell he knows his stuff and that he enjoys the work. Much to the chagrin of the spiders under the crawl space. Our crawl space is not the easiest to get to but instead of complaining both Brian and Wes treated it like an adventure and I appreciated that that attitude because I felt really bad anytime one of them had to go down there. Brian is our forever electrician now, anything we need in future we will be calling him/Unity first. The work is solid, my kitchen is the brightest it has ever been and I have so much real-estate on my counters now because I can see it's crazy! We won't live in this condo forever but I'm so happy it will be all set for the next owner to enjoy a kitchen they can see in, and an electric panel that won't harm them or their appliances. Can't sing Brian's praises enough. Thank you thank you thank you. I'm a happy camper in my tiny little condo with lots of light in her kitchen now. Thanks again!
