So happy to have found EdgeWise Electric. Rob was responsive and his work was beyond expectations. Pricing was more than reasonable. Rob took the time before the service to discuss what we knew about the problem we were having, and came equipped with several parts options. Thank goodness he did; the most important part we needed (my opinion) he had with him. As Rob was leaving I asked about some kitchen lighting improvements he could suggest. Licketysplit, he was able to give several recommendations. He'll be back! Don't make-do, if you have an electrical issue, Rob is the man to call. Thanks Rob - we'll talk soon. Rob was awesome to work with. He is honest, and reliable. He told me before installing my ceiling fan that the rod might not be long enough, it may wobble because it's a vaulted ceiling. I trusted him and told him let's install it and go from there. To our surprise everything worked out the way it was. He actually installed the same fan 2 days ago so he was very familiar with the fan, so he was quick and efficient in getting it done quickly. I will be referring him to friends and family who need electrical work done. read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about Rob at Edgewise Electric. We've worked with him several times, and every visit reminds us why we keep calling him back. Rob combines warmth, professionalism, and integrity in a way that's truly rare. He explains everything clearly--never condescendingly--and always takes time to make sure we understand our options. His rates are fair and transparent, and he's someone you can trust completely. Rob's work is prompt, reliable, and built to last, and he consistently goes above and beyond--the kind of person who clearly cares about both his craft and his clients. There's a genuine kindness and personal touch in how he approaches every job, something you just don't see often anymore. If you're looking for an electrician who's not only highly skilled but also deeply human in his approach, Edgewise Electric is the one to call. read more

Rob was a great help to us as we prepped our long time family home for resale. He recommended things that we were unaware that needed to be done, communicated with us as he went through the additional items and was very quick and efficient. He also has a sense of humor. "Thingy" is an official electrical term, apparently, not just a word for something I didn't know, but he knew exactly what I was referring to. Fair price. Great guy. Hire him. You won't be disappointed. read more

Amazing service! They came out the same day I called, were up front about hourly rate and stuck to that! They didn't try to add on more work or hours, they fixed what we needed and were super honest about everything, very knowledgeable! Highly recommend! read more

I highly recommend Rob at Edgewise electric! He is an excellent communicator, very dependable, and fairly priced. His attention to detail and knowledge exceeded my expectations. We were so impressed with Rob's quick response. When the lights go off a person can't wait days for repairs. Rob was here the next morning and spent the time needed to determine what was going on and fix it (in an old house it is never easy). I am so happy we now have an electrician we can call for help and for regular maintenance. On top of all this, his rates are very reasonable. read more

Just wanted to give a short review for EdgeWise Electric for the electrical work performed on my house. I called on a Thursday afternoon concerning a rewiring project on our home. Rob was in the Salem area and he promptly dropped by to give a quote. We thoroughly went over my current electrical and the need to upgrade to a higher amp service. Rob was very attentive to what I needed to have done and the urgency for me to have the electrical project completed sooner rather than later. Rob had an estimate to me within hours which was reasonable and could schedule for the following Monday! That was good news especially since he had to move wire from one end of the house to the other using both the attic and under the house in order to make everything very clean looking. I'm a little OCD and Rob was very respectful of that and went the extra mile to make the wiring totally seamless and hidden. So the experience was awesome and Rob was very accommodating of my OCD and of course doing a great job. Definitely will use EdgeWise Electric again! John Great read more

I can't recommend Rob and EdgeWise enough. We had an electric car charger installed which also involved a panel upgrade as we had no more slots available in our current panel. He communicated with me clearly about when he would come look at the job to give me a quote, arrived when he said he would and took his time assessing the situation and giving me various options for how to proceed and the costs associated with each. No pressure was applied at all. Scheduling was easy and he came when promised, did the work in the timeframe he had estimated and the work was done exactly as promised. Final result looked great, and passed inspection with ease. After this experience, we'll definitely use Rob for all our future electric needs. Highly recommended. read more

Rob is just simply the best. Don't bother with others! Call him first and call him every time. Professional Quality

I had called 4 different electricians to repair 6 different outlets that were not working. I left multiple messages and not a single one called me back. I saw Edgewise Electric Recommended on The Next-Door app. So, I gave him a call and left a message with his answering service, and he called me back the same day!! Set up an appointment for the next day and within an hour he had all my outlets up and working again! He was great! Very upfront with pricing, explained and showed me what was wrong, he problem solved first then did the needed repairs and replacements. Very personable guy, cleaned up after himself and I am so happy to have all my outlets back in good working order again! No more power strips! Call Edgewise Electric, he does an outstanding job!!! THANK YOU!!!!! And THANK YOU for calling me back! read more

Rob did a fantastic job installing my exhaust fan (not the duct work) in the bathroom. He was very conscientious of my time and home. He was extremely professional and friendly. He explained what he was doing and answered my questions with a smile and in detail. He stayed on budget when he found that the fan did not fit my ceiling joists after he got the floor up in the attic. He also was able to install an outside plug for the front of my house all in the same visit. I would HIGHLY recommend Rob to anyone as he is professional, friendly, and cleans up the area he worked in after he is through. read more

I had no exterior outlets for holiday lights. Now I have 3 exactly where I need them. Rod is very easy to work with and explained to me everything he was doing and why. He accidently put a very small scratch on my siding and was willing to touch it up with extra paint I have in the garage. I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him. read more

Rob did an outstanding job of installing a ceiling fan and hooking up a programmable timer for us. He was both professional and met his appointment time and estimated price for the work that was scheduled. I found him to be both knowledgeable and organized in the performance of his work. As a retired general contractor who has worked with numerous sub-contractors over the years, I can say that I was impressed with Rob and will gladly call on him again. - Mike H. read more
