Victoria and Kevin were super helpful with the front end estimates and scheduling. Victoria kept in contact with us throughout every step of the way. Trevor and Robert were the electricians who came out to do the work. They were easy to work with and really cared about the project and got most of the work done in one visit. On what we thought was the final day (returning after the swim spa was delivered), we ran into minor hiccup from the manufacturer (missing one of the lugs to land the final wiring in the swim spa) Trevor went above and beyond to help me figure out how to get the missing part. I don't know who was more bummed about not getting the swim spa going him or I. After I got the manufacturer to overnight the missing piece, Trevor was able to return on very short notice and get us up and running. I appreciate the professionalism and dedication to their work and outstanding service we received. Would definitely recommend this team for future projects

    Sean was our tech, [and mind you-never once did I lose my…read morecool or become rude with the tech-I know service people are hard to find post pandemic] He came out for a clean and check of our furnace and a/c system [we just do normal maintenance. He stated there was something leaking in the furnace and that he would need to order the part. 2-3 weeks go by, I send an email he tells me the part is in, he says he'll be here on that thursday. Thursday comes, Sean sends another email. No part [mind you this is already after the phone conversation stating there IS a part]. Keep in mind he never once told me what this part was, or what was leaking nor was it on the receipt. He says he'll have to order it again. Another week goes by. This time next Thursday, the part ends up at the "other" shop. Another phone call, another email.. Another thursday.. at this point 2 more weeks go by. Sean now ghosts me. No more calls no more no shows. The original day he was scheduled to come for service I made sure my husband would be home and sure enough my husband showed up before Sean could be finished. There are two things happening here. The first and the most obvious is, this company and this tech, was FULL OF IT, because they ghosted the client. The second is more likely the case, that he tried to scam me not thinking my husband would be there. BUT my husband isn't a certified HVAC tech so we're STILL going to have to call someone else out and pay for another check. It's such poor business practice when all we wanted was a regular company for regular service. Consumer beware.

    It's basically a cliche at his point but this is really a zero star review…read more This company really has no idea what it's doing. The estimating system (a simple and non-sensical excel document made by someone with little grasp of the trade) has been out of date for at least a half century. No one in the industry works this way for good reason. I have no faith in their ability to price things correctly in such a rudimentary and disorganized way. You'll be given a task with a due date. Guess what, that date will move without you knowing because the only way you'll find out is an email every 2 days with the new dates. Think you were on schedule? Think again. You just magically became late! They implemented a policy that you had to have your detailed scope submitted a full three days before your estimate. Which is absurd because guess how you get that information? Yeah, by doing the estimate. They decided to make this change during one of the busiest weeks which instantly flagged us to managment as "Late" for these projects, but only because they were applying a new policy retroactively. They said don't worry about it, but like on other occasions, that was simply a lie. The managment of this company is really lacking. Half the people I spoke with had no clear understanding of who they reported to. You get half information from questionable sources and all along you're assured that everything is fine. If you're looking for a job or a competant contractor, there are plenty of professional and capable options out there. This isn't one of them.

He then muttered something about "Shooting His Shot with Me". This happened Nov.1, 2023. I mulled over this situation the past few weeks, and decided this was my best course of action for the time being. As a single woman who lives alone in Portland it's important to hire a company that is very clear on how they expect their employees to conduct themselves with clients. This was very scary for me because he has my address now, and I'm afraid of retaliation from reporting the incident because they will know it was me, and where I I live.....unless they are doing this regularly to other women, too. Please, educate you employees on the importance of appropriate conduct, sexual harassment, and what the consequences of their actions are. I'm a survivor of past assault, and this affected me very deeply because this happened IN MY HOME. I should be able to trust your company to vet, and educate it's employees of the importance of these kind of issues. After I move I will feel more comfortable giving more specific information about the incident, and the employee. I will say that it happened in Portland Nov.1, 2023. Please, talk to all of your employee, and make sure they are clear on what sexual misconduct, and a harassment are. Thank you

    A few weeks ago we had Ryan from Air Stars out to perform an annual service on our HVAC. He…read morediscovered that our unit was icing up (we already knew it was on its last leg) and we decided to bite the bullet and replace it. They didn't charge for the service call and had an estimator, Omar, out here the same day. He laid out all the options and we chose our new HVAC. They scheduled our install for the following week, which is unheard of in this post-pandemic world. Randolph and Bryan showed up on time and were quick in their work. They completed the install and clean up by early afternoon and took measurements for a new custom door to cover the HVAC system. Today Andrey came to install the custom door. He was also quick, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone involved from start to finish was top notch. The entire process only took three weeks, as compared to five months to replace a broken garage door in 2021 and a year to replace our kitchen in 2022. We already trusted Air Stars because we had them install Mitsubishi ductless units 18 months ago in our granny unit (to replace baseboard and wall heaters and to add A/C). We are very pleased with Air Stars and would recommend them.
