I have worked with Dustin for over a decade as he struggled under the restrictive trades laws in Oregon when it comes to growing his business and mentoring his apprentices. Please support his growing business. His team is not only technically competent in current and best codes for all types of projects, but they are curious and not afraid of a challenge doing things a little different. We had him do numerous jobs over years on a rental property turned back into our house. The latest is the installation of a German engineered on demand electric water heater in a difficult existing condition. Any new water heater would have been a challenge. He gave us an excellent value and allowed us to work with our plumber and we supplied the appliance. A year later, my husband now takes baths everyday with it. He loves it and our warranty is the highest of any products on the market. Resiliency is sustainability so all this work will last us a lot of use for another decade at least and contributes less green house gas and waste when it comes time to replace the unit. These folks are FABULOUS! I had my garage walled in, and moved some switches on my farm, got most working, but the rats nest of wires got confused and I lost the carrier runner for a 3 way switch. Distinct sent out Steve within an hour, and he was able to trace the wires and hook everything up correctly in an hour. Now I have my outside flood lights working and garage lights working and it is a beautiful job, well done! Thank you to Steve and Distinct. We had our west wall without power, and had it looked at and "fixed" by a handyman; the repair didn't last!! We were at whits end, as we don't have much money, and we needed power in our kitchen and our back patio. I was approached by Distinct electric, and was told not to worry about the price; we could work this out. We made an appointment with them and the electrician showed up on time, and quickly went to work, eventually he found problems, and improvised a way to fix it. Do to his proficiency, it didn't take long, and everything works!! I was impressed by the professionalism, and his need to keep the cost down, which was successful. Distinct came out in 2014 and replaced an electrical panel for us. Prompt, courteous, efficient, and reasonably priced. Yesterday I was replacing a fixture in the garage and messed up some complex wiring. I called and emailed my situation, hoping they might have time to check things out this week. Dustin emailed back early Monday AM and said he could be here at 8am if I wanted. Got here when he said, fixed what I broke, and installed the fixture for me for way less than I thought would have been reasonable. I requested an estimate from Distinct Electric for an upgrade on my electrical panel and two ground rods in because I am repiping my 1968 house. They gave me a great price. Once at my house I also asked for 5 cam lights to be put in my kitchen and put a light fixture in my bathroom, and they did for a great price. Extremely reasonable pricing. We called three companies to do several days work at an older house. One company came, and then never got bck to us. Another came, and gave us a high bid, and said, there were parts of the job that they didn't know how to fix. The owner of Distinct Electric came out to bid the job himself, and had an estimate back to us within a few days. He was also working at the job, not just sending other fellows out to do it without him. They were highly skilled , very professional, and there was none of it that they couldn't do. I had a full day of miscellaneous jobs to be done from indoor/outdoor electrical outlets to installing an outdoor fan on my deck and adding more circuits. The three people that I was in contact with were very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible.
